"Mu- Qi- ChongYing- Ru- Ti- Er- Zhu- Fu-!"
Green light gathered on the tip of Fengyu’s finger.
He pointed it at Zimu in front of him –
Swish
The light flew through the air, rapidly entering Zimu’s body.
It spread all over, creating a thin veil of green.
"Quack?" Zimu quacked in surprise. Instantly, the thin veil of green broke!
"No! It was so close to being successful!" Fengyu looked annoyed.
"After a month and a week of learning, I finally got the Dao Language. Then, the next step was easy – the Dao Move is only to gather the power with a short turn, and then point it at the target, finally causing a small tremble with your finger.
The Dao Thought should be the hardest part for most people, because it requires a deep understanding and image of an internal body’s regeneration.
But for , I only need to think of cells splitting and repairing.
Although I never saw it directly, I’ve seen it simulated quite a few tis, which was enough for to have a superior understanding of the body.
This way, I finally managed to cast this dical spell!"
He looked exasperated, not knowing that he had complicated the last step of Dao Thought by at least a thousand, if not ten thousand, tis.
Because of that, he was able to cast the spell even though he barely pronounced the incantation correctly. Even the move of his hand and finger was lacking.
Anyone else would look at the exact centitre and degree of each move, but he only roughly moved his hand to achieve it!
"Alright, Zimu, sit still this ti. The light is just gonna integrate so Wood Qi into your body, improving your innate recovery. It’s not the wondrous effects of Life and Vitality Qi, so don’t think too much about it and just let it do its work." Fengyu said sternly, regaining his focus.
"Mu- Qi- ChongYing- Ru- Ti- Er- Zhu- Fu-!"
The green light gathered once more, his finger turned and pointed, then trembled for a second, shooting out the green light.
Swish
It landed on Zimu’s body, spreading right away and forming a thin green veil.
The Wood Qi churned his body’s cells, allowing them to quickly reproduce.
Old cells died, new cells were born.
The mystical effect of improving the body’s cycle quickly beca apparent – Zimu’s feathers glowed brighter and his bill beca shinier.
A mont later, the green veil dissipated and the colour returned.
"Huh? That’s it?" Zimu, seeing it disappear, asked in surprise.
"What do you an, that’s it? You’re not injured, so what could the effect possibly be? It’ll just strengthen your vitality for a mont before returning."
Fengyu shook his head before telling Zimu to stand still, casting the spell again.
Two tis, three tis, five, nine, ten...
"Alright, that’s it! My research can be experinted here –
The power of this spell is short and mild, aning it can be used several tis on the sa person. The used spiritual power is lower than that of attack spells, so it can also be used in a battle scenario, but the resulting effect might not be as great as when done in a resting environnt.
Based on the few tries, I can’t for sure say how much it can help you recover.
But the general situation should be that one spell is equal to the body’s own recovery in an hour.
aning, a small cut that would disappear after two hours could be closed with two spells. A large cut needing treatnt can be closed quickly with six to ten casts.
As for those more dangerous injuries... if they’re non-lethal and the body can recover, then a hundred or more spells might do the job. If they’re lethal, then the spell would only delay the death slightly, but it can’t avoid death since the body will have lost the function of recovering. At that point, it will be like a destroyed bowl.
The spell is simply too weak to help the body recover from such an injury."
He wanted to test the abilities right away, but he felt his spiritual power dwindling rapidly.
He didn’t have enough spiritual power to cast the spell many tis. For now, even a dangerous non-lethal injury might lead to death by untily help.
"Quack! Quack! Quackkk!" while he was thinking, a loud quack sounded.
A small duck in white feathers ran to him, quacking loudly as if complaining.
He could roughly understand what it said – there wasn’t enough food in the box, and all the grass patches were eaten by older ducks already.
They, younger ducks, had to make way for mature older ducks!
"You’re always complaining. Every day at least once.
If you want to use the Spirit Absorption Spell again, why don’t you say so?
I won’t refuse to help you if I’m free!" he smiled at the loudly quacking duck.
This was the first duckling born from the union of the two Spiritual Ducks.
It was healthy and had a loud quack. Loud quacks were more typical for female ducks, while male ducks had more colourful feathers and softer quacks.
He waved his hands and cast a spell, "Spiritual Absorption, Absorb!"
Spiritual power gathered from all around and entered the body of this little duck.
Its feathers beca glossy and the colour of the beak was brighter.
A few monts later, the spell ended and the duck quacked loudly as thanks before leaving again, looking all around.
"You’re so cute, like a little... little duck!" Fengyu smiled and shook his head, feeling this duck was very energetic.
Its quacks were even louder than those of others, and it always seed so fiery when talking.
If it wasn’t because he liked it so much, how could he endure the incessant interruptions into his work?
"Quack, this little duckling has a good body and cultivates diligently... will it reach the Spiritual Duck stage on its own?" Zimu asked curiously.
"Who knows? Without any spells, the bloodline will always at least degenerate one minor stage. A low-grade spiritual beast can’t produce other spiritual beasts.
But at least the bloodline will have a higher chance of deepening and evolving...
After all, your beasts’ usual path to beco stronger is to push your bloodline further with your own efforts.
What about you?
Your bloodline is also stuck, isn’t it?"
"Mine is at the peak already, I can feel that it won’t be difficult for to evolve it!"
