The young man turned to the other cultivators behind him and asked, "Doesn’t this fellow daoist have a very peaceful aura?"
"He does!" an elderly man said, walking forward, "Fellow daoist, your aura is very peaceful and serene. Do you have any interest in becoming the guest elder of our Green Deer Tribe?"
The sudden invitation surprised Fengyu. He realised that the people in front of him were beasts!
But... they clearly gave him the aura of Qi Refining cultivators, so how co they were able to appear in this form in front of him?
The young man saw his confusion and only said two words - "Inner city."
Fengyu nodded, understanding. The inner city had so many secrets, maybe it was really possible to gain human form in the first stage?
Though this must an a whole different path for these cultivators - basically giving up the advantages of beasts and becoming human... or maybe not? He wasn’t sure, only knowing that these beasts were special.
’Deer... well, they’ve always been among the most magical beasts.’ he thought, not saying more.
The deer tribe and Fengyu faced each other for a second, one waiting for an answer, the other having already rejected it internally.
As they waited, the library manager ca over again - the elderly man who had registered Fengyu.
"Fengyu! How co you’re here?" he asked right away after seeing Fengyu. Over the past months, Fengyu frequented the library and would see this manager quite often, developing a friendly acquaintanceship.
"I ca for these two," Fengyu pointed at the twins, then said, "Can we go in directly?"
"No problem, let’s go right away."
"Wait, fellow daoist!" the young deer man called for Fengyu.
"Hmm?"
"Fellow daoist, your aura is really serene. I want to communicate more with you. Is that possible?"
Fengyu looked at them for a mont. His own aura... was only sothing inherently peaceful people could sense. Zimu had told him that the ducks could beco his believers because ducks had an inherent peacefulness, and other beasts with this could also beco his believers.
Humans... were difficult. Because humans have all these innate emotions and states, it is for them to awaken them, which happens in their youth most of the ti. If soone doesn’t awaken their peacefulness by the ti they beco an adult, then awakening it will be difficult later on.

But hearing he herded ducks, and the fact he directly positioned himself in the position of a peaceful person while claiming they had a certain compatibility...
Different factors made them wish to get closer, their initial suspicion unable to overco logical reasoning - even more so, it was difficult to fight against this aura.
In the end, they only looked at each other and decided to talk about this later.

On the other hand, Fengyu followed the manager all the way to the private room.
Once inside, he and the twins sat down after the manager told them to.
He looked at Fengyu and asked, "What matter did you co here for today?"

You two, you’ve awakened your inspiration and Fengyu brought you here... do you know what that is for?" the manager asked, wanting to make sure the twins knew what they would get into.
There were always a few people who tricked talented people into coming here and creating a whole disaster, leading to a series of punishnts, so he had to be sure.
"Yes, senior brother Fengyu told us about inspirations and about the city inviting people to beco Inner Citizens as long as they fulfil the requirent!" Ling explained.
"My sister and I have thought about it for a long ti, and we think that since even senior brother is willing, and since our own ideas align with senior brother’s, then it’s a good choice for us to join the city too." Ming explained, speaking many more words than usual, indicating his seriousness.
"That’s good." the manager nodded, then, used to it, he took out a contract and presented it to the twins.
The twins looked through it and saw that it was very much like how Fengyu described it, so they didn’t hesitate long and signed it with a drop of blood.
Seeing this, the manager also followed accordingly and summoned the altar -
Spiritual power gathered, golden light ford and manifested into the shape of the city’s emblem - the Ten Thousand Beasts Moon Plate.
As the symbol took shape, below, a huge tower ford. At each stage there was a small bowl, made of jade and with a moonstone in the centre.
Fengyu looked at this scene once more, rembering the astonishnt he had felt and the analysis he made based on the bowls and the drops in each of them.
The twins looked at this for a long ti, only waking up when they heard the manager’s words.
They followed the procedure and completed the ritual in one go, their expressions ones of wild surprise the whole ti.
Only when everything was over did they leave their reverie, looking at the dissipating altar in shock.
"The contract is completed - please tell your strongest ability, up to three, so that I can note it and convey it to the city to assign you a task."
Ling nodded and was the first to speak, "I am good at spiritual planting, at cloud and water related spells and... at controlling the weather."
Ming followed right after, "I am also good at spiritual planting, have a certain control of earth, and I can change the ground quite well."
Hearing these, the manager went from a nod to surprise - he looked over to Fengyu, his eyes glinting with astonishnt.
These two! Their talents were specific and rare talents in the direction of weather and terrain?!
This was no less rare than a spiritual doctor!
Although there were more spiritual doctors, the level of Fengyu was extrely rare, much more so than the common creation arts.
On the other hand, weather and terrain masters were rare, because the inheritances for normal people are weaker - but their uniqueness is on equal grounds with Fengyu’s!
