"Well... as he said" The leader spoke after the young man spoke.
"Oh. I comnd your intelligence then. However, I don't see how that's any of my business. I'm just passing by after all. And why did you choose to see anyway? I could be evil for all you know" Muku replied casually.
"You're right. Our situation doesn't concern you. And as for why we're here. It's because we know that our scouts would have long died if you wished. For it doesn't matter how well they hide in front of true power" The leader who seed to beco a bit more confident after noticing Muku's willingness to speak.
"Hmm. Makes sense. You still haven't told why we're having this talk through" Muku replied.
"Ah. That... Well, you see. We have a request. I know we're strangers so I won't ask you to do it for free. We are ready to..." The leader was about to say what they offered. But Muku raised his hand to stop him.
"Wait wait. Before telling what you're offering, don't you think you should tell what you want help with first? Are you trying to trick into doing sothing dangerous with a reward that seems good but actually isn't? I'll have you know. If you try to trick , you will definitely regret it" Muku spoke in a slightly threatening tone.
"No..no. That's not it at all. I misspoke. I'm just really nervous right now" The leader imdiately apologized in fear.
"We want your help with killing a MR5 beast that recently moved into the area. It doesn't appear daily. But when it does, it kills a few of us for sport then leaves. We've already lost thirty people" The young man from before spoke again.
"Gusty young man you have here. To speak so casually with strangers" Muku spoke in amusent while looking at the young man who looked to be around his age.
"Oh shut up Muku. I can't believe you still don't recognize your old friend. I'm really hurt. Were those years we played together at the orphanage worthless to you?" The young man suddenly had an outburst.
The leader and everyone from his group froze in fear. They all thought
{What is this bastard doing? Is he trying to get us killed?} So even got ready to get beaten up if not killed.
After all, in an apocalypse with no laws, nothing was stopping Muku from doing whatever he wanted with them.
Unexpectedly, none of that happened. Instead, a look of realization appeared on Muku's face as he looked at the young man, followed by a broad smile.
"Hahaha, Matthew?! It's you right? Matt bro! How have you been? It's been so long bro, damn!" Muku spoke excitedly as he got up then gave the young man he called Matthew a tight bro hug.
"Tsk. You finally rembered you bastard" the young man confird Muku's
After that, the two started laughing together while recalling the past.
It turned out Matthew was Muku's one and only friend from his days in the orphanage.
They were inseparable in those days until Matthew got adopted.
After that Muku's many talents started showing. Then he went all over the place. From acting, singing, martial arts, dancing, and many more. Then eventually he quietly settled at the school as a teacher.
All before the age of 18. Anyway, because of their circumstances, the two had lost contact. They were also busy with their own things.
And they weren't the type of dudes to flip the world upside-down to find the other so...
It turned out the leader was actually Matt's adoptive father. The old man was usually quite reliable. He was just terrible in situations that involved people he viewed as being above him.
That's why Matt had to get involved. Also, Matt had recognized Muku from the start. So he was pretty confident that nothing would happen.
Anyway, it all worked out in the end.
To think the two who couldn't find each other before the apocalypse found each other so late in the ga. After all, it was practically impossible to et people you know in the apocalypse.
"Okay. Now we have gotten that out of the way. Tell more about this R5 you're talking about. And forget about the reward. You're my bro after all. Plus I doubt y'all have anything that can interest " Muku spoke after they cald down a bit.
"Tsk. Still humble as always I see. And I can't believe you're still doing better than in the apocalypse. Can't you let win at sothing once? Well whatever, as for the beast. It's a water type. It ambushed us from ti to ti. Which is obviously just for fun. After all, it can easily wipe us all out. It appears every three days. It should appear again tomorrow morning" Matt explained.
"Oh. It seems there was a chance we would have taken it out even if you didn't appear. After all, our hunt is starting tomorrow morning" Muku replied.
"Oh really? Well, I guess I don't have to feel like I owe you one then" Matt replied in a pleased tone.
"Also who were those ladies and where did they go?" He added.
"Yeah. You don't owe anything this ti. But I took the fall for you many tis before. You still owe for those... The ladies are your sisters-in-law" Muku replied calmly.
"Tsk. You didn't rember a few minutes ago. Now you're trying to settle old accounts like they happened yesterday. And what do you an they are my sister-in-law?" Matt asked.
"I only forget faces and not accounts. And you know what I an" Muku replied.
"Tsk. Whatever... you don't an..." Matt didn't finish his statent but the implication was pretty easy to guess.
"Yes. That's exactly what I an" Muku replied with a smirk.
".... All of them?" Matt asked with a deadpan expression on his face.
"All of them" Muku replied. His smirk deepened.
Jealousy instantly appeared on not only Matt's face, but on the faces of all the dudes in his group.
Muku rejoiced. There was nothing that a man enjoyed more than showing off to other dudes. Whether it be won, gadgets, strength, or everything else in between.
"What do you an all of them?" Suddenly a voice spoke from behind Muku.
It was Elsa who had co out of the embryo at that ti.
"I ah... I ant all but one" Muku corrected himself in embarrassnt.
"Lisa?" Elsa asked.
"All but two..." Muku corrected himself again.
He thought of Lisa as his at least. But he dared not admit it yet. She was still too new to the group. If he rashed it, she might be disliked by the others.
"Hahahaha. I knew it. There is no way you have so many girls even if you're stupidly good-looking. That's just impossible" Matt spoke while laughing.
He finally felt a bit better about himself.
"You do know I still have like 8 right? How many do you have?" Muku asked with a sour look on his face.
Elsa had completely ruined his aura farming mont.
"Of course I have so too. I have... one. But I will definitely get more and surpass you!" Matt defended himself.
"You'll what?" A pretty lady from his group suddenly asked.
"I ah. I misspoke baby. You're the only one for . I swear! Who needs many when I have you?" Matt imdiately retracted his words.
"Hahaha," Muku laughed. And he laughed the hardest as the last one.
After that, the two friends beca a bit awkward in their interactions. Which was understandable as they were both embarrassed by the two girls.
But it didn't last long. Dudes were generally shaless anyway.
"So Elsa. Why are you here?" Muku finally asked the little ancestor who had casually embarrassed him.
"Emily told to tell you to co for dinner..." Elsa replied in a calm voice as always.
At that point, she had definitely replaced Layla as the group's coldest person.
After all, Layla has been getting warr for a while now. Especially recently since that encounter with Muku and their movie nights.
"Too late. Are you all still taking?" Emily appeared beside Elsa and spoke.
"No, we're done here. But I'd Ike to invite a few more people to dinner. Is that okay?" Muku replied.
"Oh? I guess there's no problem. Feel free to invite as many as you want. We have enough food" Emily happily accepted.
As for why she didn't mind. Well, she didn't need to prepare more food. After all, they'd be eating R5 at as the main dish. One bite was enough for all the weak people Muku was inviting so there was no trouble at all.
"Great! Matt, are you and your people free for dinner?" Muku turned his attention to Matt.
"He's free. He and his wife Jane. You can go with them right now. The rest of us need to get back. I hope you co to our ho for dinner next ti" The leader nad Josh spoke before Matt could.
Without waiting for anyone to say anything. He left with the rest of the group.
He felt comfortable doing that after finding out that Matt and Muku were friends.
"Welp. Let's go then. I'll show you my place today and you'll show yours tomorrow..." Muku spoke then dragged Matt and Jane into the embryo with the two girls...
