King Duncan slamd his fist on the armrest of his chair

"How could that jerk stomach all the things he did? How could he forget his morality and sold his soul to the devil? How had he beco like that?"

"Father, calm down!"

"Grandpa, please relax."

"How can I calm down after seeing the atrocious things my best friend did?"

Amaya looked at her grandfather with compassion.

"It is all my fault! If I did not hurt his feelings about his obsession with animals or if I didn’t turn him away, then he shouldn’t have gone to Ra-Iya and hid there."

"Father, it is not your fault. If you could deter him one or two tis, there will always be a third or fourth ti. It was his choice." Ibarra comforted his father.

Amaya looked at her Daddy Ibarra in a new light. It was the first ti for her to see his Uncle so caring about his grandpa. He picked the right words to say at the right ti.

"Let us all take a rest and discuss this again tomorrow." King Duncan sounded tired and gloomy.

"Amaya, I heard that you want to stay in your Palace tonight. Stay here and accompany your grandma later. She missed you a lot and it would be good if could spend so ti with her."

"Don’t worry, Grandpa. I’ll accompany Grandma later."

The four of them exited the throne room. Amaya retired to her bedroom. A maid escorted Marx to a guest room where he could rest.

"Princess, you are back!" Lilia giggled excitedly.

"I was just away for 4 days and you make feel that I have gone for a long ti."

"Princess, life is so quiet and boring without you around."

"Are you buttering up?"

"How can I be? I am just happy that you are back Princess."

"Any news?" Amaya asked while accepting the dress that Lilia gave her.

She slipped into the dress and lay down on her soft bed.

"The herbs you left before are growing pretty wheel. Princess Consort Nelida however is happy about growing herbs in the palace garden."

"Isn’t there a place where we can grow the herbs? There should be an herbal garden in the palace, right?"

Lilia nodded. "We can transplant the herbs from your garden to the palace garden."

"Okay. Just let the gardener do the work. They are paid so don’t give the look ."

"My apologies, Princess. I id not realize that."

"it is okay. Apologies accepted. "

When Amaya had rested well enough, she went out of her room to visit her cousins starting with the youngest.

She found Yohan in his room and had just woke up from his nap.

"How are you Yohan? You have grown taller." Amaya ruffled his hair.

Yohan extended his arms to Amaya asking for a hug. Then he flexed his arms to show his muscles.

"Ha ha ha. So you have grown your muscles?" Amaya pinched his cheeks. His face has beco rounder as he gained weight.

Yohan nodded. "I am stronger now, Sister Aya."

"Where is Spirit? Are taking good care of him?"

"Yes, Sister."

Yohan whistled and a flurry of white ball appeared in the door from the corridor. It flew right into the arms of the young boy.

"Good boy. Say hi to Big Sister." Yohan hugged the white pup and let it lick its face."

Spirit circled Amaya before sniffing her legs and then he happily wagged his tail.

"Sister, look! He still recognized you." Yohan cried out excitedly.

"I know... I know. Spirit is such a good wolf. Of course, he would rember my scent because I saved him and his siblings.

"Where are your sisters?" Amaya asked casually.

"You an, Danella? Or are you looking for Camilla and Riyana?"

"It is Camilla and Riyana," Yohan asked in his cute voice.

"Yes"

"They went to school."

"Aww, they are still in school? But it is a Sunday today." She teased Yohan.

"Eh, it is Sunday? But they did go to school." Yohan insisted.

Amaya glanced at his governess.

"They actually had a tutorial on piano and classical dance. The school he is referring to is in the building on the eastern side of the palace." The governess explained.

"Oh, I see." She looked at Yohan. "How about we go there and watch their dance?"

Yohan nodded. He was excited.

The building where the girls were having their dance lessons was just a five-minute walk from the main building of the palace.

They entered the ballroom and saw the two girls practicing a Lireyan classical dance.

Amaya beca interested in the dance. She and Yohan were standing at the back but it did not stop Amaya from copying the movents that the two girls were making in tune with the classical Lireyan song.

The dance teacher noticed Amaya.

"Princess, why don’t you co over and practice with your young cousins." The teacher called her from the front of the dance floor.

Amaya did not hesitate to co. Riyana and Camilla greeted her enthusiastically and soon they started dancing with the music.

"You are a fast learner, Princess. You get the steps right away."

"Thank you, Teacher Marina. It is because I have a good teacher that is why I learned fast." Amaya did not want to be overly praised.

Teacher Marina tried to clear her throat. She wasn’t used to being at the receiving end of the praise. Normally it was her students whom she praised after each performance.

A slow clapping of hands was heard from the side door of the training room.

"Cousin, you are already so tall and old, and yet you are practicing with my younger sisters. Danella’s sarcastic voice perated the entire training room.

"My dear cousin, there is no rule that says that an older woman could not join the young ones in practice. If you want cousin, you can join us."

Danella gritted her teeth. Why can’t she beat her no matter what the situation is?
