Chapter 451: The End Ga 2

But then the figure, like a coward, was simply watching and waiting.

While the others tore into one another, blades flashing and bodies falling, the figure stayed back—slipping behind stronger fighters, blending into the frenzy.

A coward... or a strategist.

When only five fighters remained, the figure finally moved.

Not to attack but to run.

"It couldn’t be her," King Ralden murmured from the VIP box, eyes narrowing.

Monts later the bell rang.

Three fighters remained.

Then the arena went dark—and all of them vanished.

...

Sofia’s cage opened with a tallic snap.

Guards pulled her out, hauling her toward the VIP gallery.

Nearby, Amaya prepared to reveal herself so the rescuers would take her too—

But Sofia stepped forward first, cutting her off.

"Hurry! Get

out of here!" Sofia cried, breathless. "I triggered a trapdoor and ended up down there!"

The guards rushed her away.

Amaya was left behind.

From the VIP seats, Sofia leaned back beside King Ralden, watching the arena below with thinly veiled excitent.

She wanted to witness the end of Princess Amaya.

"What were you doing down there?" Ralden asked, barely glancing at her.

"I accidentally fell," she said simply. She could not tell him that she pushed Princess Amaya through a trapdoor and she fell alongside her.

Below, the next round was already being prepared.

The betting boards lit up.

Tonight’s spectacle: Arachne mutants—half human, half spider—versus massive genetically enhanced venom spiders, each the size of a two-hundred-kilogram man.

In her holding cell, Amaya stared at the screen.

Two figures stepped into the arena.

Her breath caught.

"How could it be them...? Ren... Ava.... what are you doing there?"

The arena floor crawled with black, hairy spiders.

Dozens of them.

Ren and Ava moved like a single mind—dodging, striking, weaving between the monsters. Their movents were precise, calculated.

They had trained with Amaya. They knew how to fight.

The round ended with only three survivors.

Ren, Ava , and Dama, their mother’s sister.

...

The final round began with seventeen contenders. The champions of every bracket.

Amaya’s cell shot upward.

The arena transford. Stone beca soil. Steel walls dissolved into towering trees.

A jungle swallowed everything.

For a mont Amaya stood frozen—lost in dense foliage.

Then she understood. It was a virtual arena.

Her first thought: Find Ren and Ava.

Their chance of survival would be higher if they worked together.

She stepped out from behind a massive tree. And froze.

Two werewolves and a lycan were watching her as predators do.

Their eyes burned red. Their fangs dripped saliva, and they had been waiting.

Amaya moved first.

She had her bows and arrows, a sword slung on her back, and a pair of daggers strapped to her outer thighs, and spear in her right hand

She lunged—her blade slicing across a werewolf’s chest—then grabbed a vine and launched herself upward, flipping onto a branch.

The lycan reacted instantly.

He leapt after her, claws slashing toward her throat—

Then—

WHIP.

White webbing shot through the air, wrapping around his arms and pinning them together.

Amaya didn’t hesitate. She drove her spear forward. The tip punched through his chest.

The lycan collapsed, dead!

The remaining werewolves roared and lunged.

But Amaya vanished. A silver web had wrapped around her waist and yanked her into the canopy above.

She landed beside two familiar figures.

"Ren? Ava?" Amaya’s voice trembled. "What are you doing here?"

"Sister," Ava said calmly, "we ca to rescue you."

"And the only way into the arena..." Ren added, "was to fight."

Amaya pulled them both into a fierce embrace—ignoring the fact that their human body suits were gone. What she held were their true forms, hairy spider bodies.

Then the branches shook. The werewolves were climbing and fast.

Amaya dropped back to the ground.

The beasts followed—

But the instant they landed—

SHING.

A masked man appeared. His sword flashed.

One werewolf fell instantly.

Amaya killed the other with a swift strike of her spear.

"Uncle Marx!" Ren shouted.

Amaya went still. The masked man... was Marx?

Before anyone could speak, the jungle dissolved. Darkness swallowed them.

Amaya froze.

They stood inside a cavern, in Dama’s lair.

The air reeked of rot and venom.

Massive webs clogged the passages—thick, sticky strands even Amaya’s sword couldn’t cut.

Then the ground trembled. A gigantic human spider erged — Dama!

Her body was three tis larger than Ren and Ava combined.

Eight creaking legs. Fangs dripping poison.

She struck from behind, aiming at Amaya’s back.

But Marx shoved her aside. The stinger plunged into his neck, instead.

"Marx!" Amaya scread.

"Aya—run!" he shouted. "Don’t look back!"

The poison spread instantly. His body went limp.

Dama wrapped him in webs.

Rage exploded inside Amaya.

She charged.

Her sword flashed—severing two of Dama’s legs.

The monster shrieked in fury. Webs shot everywhere.

Dama attacked relentlessly and Amaya was forced back. She was trapped against the cavern’s wall.

Nearby, Ava dragged Marx away from the webbing, tearing strands apart with her fangs and spider limbs.

"Ava!" Ren shouted. "Restrain her legs!"

Ava grabbed Marx’s sword.

She struck from behind. Two more legs fell.

Amaya followed—slashing again and again.

Black blood sprayed across the cave.

Dama roared. She was desperate and enraged.

She lunged at Amaya with all her weight—

A killing strike.

Ren and Ava jumped in front of her.

Their bodies slamd into the monster’s charge. But they were too small and too weak.

Dama crushed them.

Amaya slid beneath the spider’s massive body. With one final thrust, she drove the sword deep into Dama’s abdon, then she rolled away.

Dama collapsed with a thunderous crash.

The cave shook.

Dust and strands of webbing drifted through the air as the giant spider’s body twitched once... then went still.

Amaya pushed herself up from the ground, coughing, her ears ringing.

For a mont she couldn’t hear anything.

Then she rembered.

"Ren? Ava?"

Her heart seized.

She scrambled toward the fallen body of Dama.

The spider’s enormous corpse had crushed them beneath it.

Only their heads were visible.

Amaya dropped to her knees beside them.

"No... no, no, no..."

Her hands trembled as she tried to push the monstrous body aside. She shoved against it with everything she had.

It didn’t move.

"Help !" she cried hoarsely, though she knew there was no one left who could help.

Blood trickled from the corner of Ava’s mouth.

"Sis..." Ava whispered weakly.

Amaya imdiately bent close, cradling Ava’s face in her shaking hands.

"I’m here. I’m here," she said desperately. "Hold on. I’ll get you out."

But Ava slowly shook her head.

Her eyes were already dimming.

"Please... live on."

Her chest rose in shallow, painful breaths.

"Thank you... for treating us like family..." Her lips trembled. "...and not like monsters."

Amaya’s vision blurred.

"You are not monsters," she choked. "You never were."

Ava smiled faintly at that. It was small. Fragile.

Then her head tilted slightly to the side.

Her body went still.

"Ava?"

Amaya gently shook her shoulder.

"Ava...?"

Nothing.

Her fingers curled tighter around Ava’s face.

"Ava!"

Her voice cracked and echoed through the cavern.

Beside them, Ren was still breathing.

But barely.

"Sister..." he whispered.

Amaya quickly turned to him, wiping tears from her face with the back of her hand.

"I’m here, Ren. Stay with ."

Ren’s eyes searched her face, as if trying to morize it.

"You rember... when we first t?"

Amaya swallowed hard.

"It was in the forest," she said softly. "You were hurt."

Ren gave a weak chuckle that turned into a painful cough.

"And you saved us."

"Yes," Amaya said firmly. "Because you were never enemies."

Ren’s breathing grew slower.

"You... gave us a ho."

Amaya shook her head desperately.

"No. Stop talking. Save your strength."

But Ren continued, his voice fading.

"Our lives... were short..." His eyes softened.

"But they were... aningful."

Amaya’s tears finally fell freely.

She pressed her forehead against his.

"You are my family," she whispered. "Do you hear ? My family."

Ren smiled. A real smile.

Then his gaze drifted toward Ava beside him.

"Sister..."

His final breath escaped slowly.

"...thank you."

The light left his eyes.
