Chapter 305: The Future Empress

"It is you, Your Majesty. What brings you here?" Amaya who was lounging on a chair straightened her back and sat property.

"Oh, I just wanted to get so fresh air. There are many annoying people out there and I wanted to escape. The light here seed inviting so I ca up and I was surprised to find you here alone, Princess." King Ralden occupied the lounge chair opposite Princess Amaya and looked at her intently.

"What are you doing here, Princess?" He leaned back lazily on a lounge chair. He crossed his right leg over his left and his hands were resting on his lap.

"I am with Marx earlier. We were stargazing. It is a tradition whenever it is my father’s or my mother’s birthday." Princess Amaya tried to talk casually. She tried to hide the discomfort she felt everyti she was beside the King of Ra-Iya.

King Ralden lay down on the lounge chair, his hands beneath his head. His gaze was fixed on the dark sheet above that was dotted by silver specks.

"What a beautiful night. I wish I could also spend so ti watching the stars with you, Princess." King Ralden spoke, his voice was srizing.

Amaya blinked and shook her head to clear her mind.

"I am sorry, King Ralden. I should be going. It is not proper for

or for you to stay here any longer." Amaya waited for the King to stand up and leave. However, King Ralden, stayed on his place with no intention of leaving nor moving.

Princess Amaya rose from the chair. At the sa ti, a servant carrying the drinks and the snacks she ordered arrived with a tray in her hand.

"This is the food that Lilia asked

to send her, Princess." The servant said politely. She waited for Amaya to instruct her where to place the food. When Amaya remained silent, she took the initiative to place the tray on a small round table beside the chair where King Ralden was lounging.

"Where is Lilia? Why was she not the one who brought the food?" Amaya inquired. She felt that sothing was wrong.

The Queen of Ra-Iya asked her to do so errand, Princess." The servant replied politely.

Amaya cast a sideways glance at King Ralden. ’Did he plan this?’ Amaya felt uncertain. She pressed a tiny button on her watch. It was the smartwatch that Marx had given her, but she changed the strap into a silver chain which made it look elegant and it matched her dress.

King Ralden glared at the servant. The servant was so scared that she felt her legs go weak.

"Pri...Princess. If .. there...is nothing else... then I’ll ke.. keep going. Th.. thank you." She stuttered and scampered away.

’Is she scared? Why did she suddenly stamred?’ Amaya glanced at King Ralden who seed to be enjoying the night view.

Before the servant could leave, Marx arrived and was panting. It was obvious that he was in a hurry.

"Are you alright Aya?" He asked worriedly.

"Marx, you are back!" Amaya exclaid happily.

Marx eyed the man who was lying leisurely on the lounge chair that he previously occupied.

"Good evening, King Ralden. I am surprised to see you up here. I think Queen Zanzara is looking for you." Marx’s tone was polite but cold. King Ralden felt the sharpness in his tone.

King Ralden chuckled.

"I am getting so fresh air. Besides, the view up here is quite beautiful."

"Please enjoy yourself then, Your Majesty. We are going back." Marx said matter-of-factly. He reached out to hold Amaya’s hand and led her toward the spiral staircase.

A glint appeared in King Ralden’s eyes. He gazed after the two people who was about to descend the stairs. Princess Amaya looked back and nodded at him as if she was saying goodbye. Then she turned around to follow Marx.

King Ralden’s gaze lingered on Amaya’s graceful back. Her waist was slim and even though she was wearing a long gown, it was obvious how slender and long her legs were. She has a sexy body. None of the won in his harem could compare to her beautiful curves, not even Sophia.

He took his cell phone and dialed a number.

"How co he was back here in such a short ti? Didn’t you deter him from coming back?" He spoke harshly into his phone. He was irritated because he had not executed his plans yet and Marx already co back. ’How useless!’ He muttered under his breath and hung up.

He took a cigarette from a golden case which he pulled from inside his suit pocket. He felt his left pocket and found the expensive golden lighter that was gifted to him by the Pri Minister of Chaneya. He studied it under the dim light before flicking it. A bluish fla appeared. He was srized for a second before he placed the light under the tip of the cigarette.

King Ralden took a long drag on his cigarette while looking up at the starry night. He wanted to know how Princess Amaya pulled her grandmother from his hypnosis and how she seed not affected by his hypnosis at all.

He and Zanzara planned it thoroughly. He wanted to embarrass Ibarra and ruin the reputation of the Lireyan Royal family on his birthday by using Queen Lucinda but he failed miserably.

When he thought of the beautiful princess who approached the Queen when she was calling Ibrahim, and when the queen’s eyes regained their clarity, he already knew that he had failed.

His gaze was focused on the smoke and red ember at the tip of his cigarette. He took his cell phone and tapped on his gallery. The image of Princess Amaya in her beautiful silver dress that did not hide the beautiful curve of her body appeared. She was smiling and looking a little bit to the side where the photographer was.

"What an innocent and beautiful face. She is the only one who is worthy to stand beside

to rule the future Neoradia."

He took one more drag of his cigarette before he stubbed it out in the ashtray on the round table. He looked at the starry sky one more ti and whispered into the nothingness.

"Soon, you will fall into my hands, Princess Amaya. You will be my future empress! We will rule the four kingdoms together."
