The door to Sikong Wang’s bedroom was locked from the inside. Qian Qi, fearing that precious ti would be wasted, kicked the door open.

The door fell straight forward, and Qian Qi rushed inside, imdiately eting a strong, pungent sll of alcohol. She glanced around quickly and saw Sikong Wang collapsed beside the sofa.

The noise from her kick was loud, quickly bringing the butler and servants to the room. Seeing Sikong Wang unconscious, they hurried over and pressed a red button beside the bed.

Qian Qi surveyed the surroundings, noticing many empty wine bottles on the floor and scattered packaging of sugar-free cookies. The room’s TV was repetitively playing dull advertisents; the food and snacks placed on various cabinets seed swept aside with force, and only the sugar-free cookies were unwrapped.

Even so, there were at least 20 bags of cookie boxes on the floor, nearly all eaten.

Before long, the Sikong family’s physician hurried in, carrying a small diagnostic instrunt case. After examining Sikong Wang, he said, "It appears to be high blood pressure induced by overeating, but the condition is not good."

He imdiately commanded the nearby servants, "Take the young master to the dical room!"

A few servants rushed forward, attempting to lift Sikong Wang, but his weight proved difficult for them. The butler quickly grabbed his waist communicator, "Two Power System guards at the entrance, co in, fast!"

"Don’t bother." Qian Qi frowned and pushed aside a few people, lifting Sikong Wang horizontally, "Where’s the dical room? Lead the way."

Qian Qi’s act of carrying Sikong Wang equally surprised those present. Recalling she had also kicked the door open earlier, they realized she might be an Awakener and quickly led her to the dical room.

The dical room featured a large glass window, allowing a clear view of everything inside. Standing outside, Qian Qi watched as the doctor put an oxygen mask on Sikong Wang and began confirming his specific condition following protocol.

"Miss Qian Qi, how did you realize the young master was unconscious and in trouble?" the butler approached Qian Qi and asked.

Qian Qi’s previously furrowed brow suddenly relaxed.

She gazed indifferently at the butler, her naturally fierce eyes reflecting a hint of coldness, "How co, as the butler, you didn’t first notice your young master’s condition and instead question , an outsider?"

The butler’s heart sank imdiately as he replied hastily, "I didn’t an that."

"I usually don’t like to ddle in others’ family affairs, but your young master is my important client. Should anything happen to him..." Qian Qi looked at Sikong Wang on the hospital bed, her voice alarmingly low, making it easy to sense the chill she exuded, "I’ll just tell the truth to his father, Sikong Lin."

Seeing Qian Qi directly call the Family Head Sikong Lin by na, the butler’s pupils slightly trembled, then he bowed down, "I beg for forgiveness, Miss Qian Qi, it’s my weak supervision. I will explain this to the Family Head."

Qian Qi snorted coldly, not saying any more.

[You’re being so bossy; those who don’t know might even think you have sothing to do with Sikong Lin.] the system mocked.

"There was nothing before, but now there is, isn’t there?" Qian Qi smoothed her bangs, expressionless, "A favor for saving his son; as long as he values his only child, he’ll naturally treat as an honored guest."

Inside the dical room, Sikong Wang was temporarily out of danger after getting antihypertensive dication. When the doctors discovered he also had a gastric ulcer, the attending physician and other family doctors arriving later took the opportunity to perform surgery for ulcer treatnt.

Two hours later, the attending physician finally exited the dical room, reporting safely, "The young master’s physical condition is temporarily stable, but later attention is needed to reduce weight and lower blood pressure through drug treatnt."

"When did your young master start binge eating?" Qian Qi asked.

The attending physician and butler both shook their heads, "The young master rarely returns to the family ho, and usually his health checks are not here. As for binge eating..."

The butler paused slightly, "I did see a phase so years ago. The Family Head was angry about it back then, but later, when the Su Family’s young master took him out once, I never saw him binge eat again."

"So years ago..." Qian Qi muttered slightly, "What was the reason then?"

"Well..." The butler hesitated, spreading his hands, "That’s family business of the Sikong family..."

"Oh, okay." Qian Qi crossed her arms and unimpressed, "Then don’t tell , I’ll directly ask Sikong Lin and casually ntion tonight’s issue with Sikong Wang."

Butler: ...

This young lady said she didn’t want to interfere in other people’s family affairs, yet now every sentence ddles. If it weren’t for the possibility of her having so relation to the Sikong Family Head, how could he let her leverage his ineffective managent to threaten?

"It was because the Family Head forbade the young master from entering the instance, so the young master flipped with him, leading to self-abandonnt." The butler picked information neither too light nor too heavy, "But later the Family Head allowed him into the E-level dungeon, he recovered, though unsure why again recently he fell ill."

Upon hearing this, Qian Qi couldn’t help but gaze at Sikong Wang through the glass.

She rembered seeing Sikong Wang earlier when he seed quite healthy, yet... he started acting strange only after she t him.

The only connection she and Sikong Wang had was the Magic God Grass, could it be because of the Magic God Grass then?

But what does that have to do with Sikong Lin not allowing him to enter the instance back then?

Qian Qi always felt like a significant piece of information was missing, preventing her from joining these events.

Everything would have to wait until Sikong Wang woke up.

Unable to figure it out, Qian Qi decisively chose to give up. She turned, patting the butler on the shoulder beside her, unceremoniously urging, "I’m hungry, go make food."

Butler: ?

Did she really treat this place as her own ho?

...

Qian Qi was woken by the system in the morning. She rubbed her eyes, glanced at the ti, and found it was five in the morning.

System: [Sikong Wang is awake.]

Lying sideways on the bed without taking off her shoes, Qian Qi imdiately beca alert, climbed down the bed, and ran to the dical room.

Sikong Wang was lying on the hospital bed, the servant sitting beside him dozing off. As Sikong Wang prepared to smile at seeing Qian Qi enter, she kicked the chair the servant was seated on.

Her voice mixed with anger, "Two hours, and you can’t hold out?"

The butler had arranged for a two-hour interval for servants to keep an eye on Sikong Wang, and notify the doctor when he awoke. This servant, instead, slept straight through.

The servant understood his dereliction, standing aside silently, making Qian Qi impatient, commanding him to wake the doctor.

"Don’t be mad." Sikong Wang understood how the people from the family saw him. He tried to force a smile, "Did you eat last night? Sorry, I broke my promise and missed your ssage."

"Shut up, it’s impossible for to starve myself," Qian Qi lightly clicked her tongue, impatiently scratching her head, "What’s going on with you, why do you harm your body like this."

People who indulge in food for a long ti are usually either seeking pleasure from food or have psychological issues. She had spent so ti with Sikong Wang, and he didn’t seem like a glutton, so it should be the latter...

Sikong Wang hesitated, then turned his head and spoke softly after a long silence, "Qian Qi, my mother may not wait for the Magic God Grass."
