In that mont , from the Qrow perspective ti seed to stop , only to move him to the future after he woke up . In reality however, that was not the case for the world . Ti flowed normally , and unknown when , the two hours went by . Although for Qrow's it seed to pass in the blink of an eye .
At this ti , Tai opened the door . With a tired look on his face and full shopping bags in his hands , he entered the house . On the Qrow's lap lay Zwej . The half-sleeping dog surprisingly did not go into a frenzy at the sight of his owner . It was as if Zwej understood that Qrow was asleep and he should not wake him up. Clearly the dog had a good amount of empathy and understanding . Even though he seed to have no higher level of intelligence .
Despite this , it did not stop the dog from quietly jumping down to the floor and going to his master . The dog's overt excitent was clear in his movents . Nevertheless, Zwej did not bark , he only whimpered a few tis in an attempt to contain his emotions .
Of course Tai did not refuse to greet him , despite his busy hands . He put down one bag and pet the dog , who standing on his short back legs , ouncing slightly on them . While his front paws supported him on Tai's leg .
As for Qrow . Seeing him in such a state , Tai decided not to wake him . After all , Tai knew that Qrow on this stormy night had to suddenly visit Ozpin who suddenly called . This took away from this old Qrow his sleep as well as his well-deserved rest .
So Tai let Qrow sleep for a while longer , although the position in which he slept would certainly bring pain to his neck . However, it was no longer sothing that Tai could change . Qrow has been sleeping like this for so ti and so to do sothing now would be pointless as well as requiring Qrow to wake up .
So leaving Qrow alone with his sleep . Tai went to unpack the groceries . Being already in the kitchen , he heated dinner from the refrigerator . Then he quickly checked on Yang , giving her heated dinner while doing so .
Only after all of this was done , Tai decided to wake Qrow . First , however , Tai rushed back again into the kitchen , where he took the beer out of the fridge and took dinner for himself and Qrow . He then returned with the food and beer to the living room . Where Tai put two bowls of food on the table in front of the couch .
??? : " Now you really look like an old alcoholic , you old Qrow . "
Said Tai , tapping the sleeping Qrow on the cheek with a cold beer . Feeling this Qrow opened his eyes . And the first thing he felt was stiffness and pain in his neck . His head was all the ti slumped back , lying on the headboard od the couch . Now Qrow really felt his age .
But seeing the beer in Tai's hands and the food lying on the table in front of the couch . Qrow ignored the pain and tilted his head left and right mi With this unhealthy movent , Qrow stretch his muscles and he managed to get a satisfying crack out of his neck . Not very healthy , but that's how his whole life has been , unhealthy.
Qrow : " Not only do I look but I also feel this way . Nonetheless I don't complain . After all, I'm in better shape than anyone my age anyway . "
Said Qrow stretching , after which he sat down properly on the couch and took a beer in his hand .
Tai : " So What is going on ? You ran out in the middle of the night and now you look like ..... ? Well defeated . Do you have to go on a trip again ? Or is there sothing so bad going on that even you are already giving up ? "
Asked Tai , reading Qrow's mood just after only a single glance at him . And as Tai spoke he sat down on the couch next to Qrow and calmly opened his beer . Qrow , only looked at his friend , not surprised that he was being read out .
It was obvious to Qrow that Tai would read him . He was not stupid enough to believe that Tai would not notice anything after so many years of living together . Besides , the argunt between him and Ozpin , left him with a resentnt so strong that it was just hard to hide it .
If Tai hadn't noticed that sothing is wrong , Qrow might have mistaken him for so stranger disguised as Tai. However , just because Qrow knew it , doesn't an he would like to talk about it . His thoughts would better remain only his . That's why Qrow decided to skip it and answer only the first question instead .
Qrow : " Did you hear about what happened last night in Vale ? "
Asked Qrow , as he open his beer . Hearing this , however , Tai raised an eyebrow at Qrow's unspecified question . Question which should also be the answer for his question .

Asked an uncertain Tai , and Qrow nodded . After which he tilted the beer can taking a big gulp from it .

Said Qrow , causing Tai to freeze in the middle of taking a spoon into his mouth . Then with his mouth still open , Tai looked at Qrow hoping that he was joking .
Qrow : " Lappland is Lappy our terrorist . Our missing wolf . Ozpin and I are rather sure of that . So new information has leaked out and everything seems to match . And now our Lappland had an altercation with so racist atlas hunters . And you already know the end of this dispute . "
Said Qrow , without wrapping it in pretty words . They had confirmation . Not suspicion but practically certainty . Before that they could still argue about it . Have uncertainty , suspicion . But now , Tai had the certainty. .His daughter befriended a terrorist . And apparently she is captivated by her .
Tai : " Damn it..... Yang . You and your luck . "

Said Qrow , finally putting down the empty can to take a bowl of food from the table in front of the couch .

Said Qrow , adding at the end words spiced with a slight sarcasm and venom . And after hearing these few key words , Taj imdiately understood that Qrow's mood may not have nothing to do with the news about the white wolf , but it is more about Atlas itself .
But Tai did not take a stab at this sensitive topic . Both had similar opinions on the matter . However, it was the minor disagreents in there opinions that could lead to an argunt . And the last thing Tai wanted was an argunt . So without pressure , when Qrow want to talk to him , Tai will listen.
Tai : " So all in all, in the Lappland case, nothing ca out that we didn't already suspect ourselves . But , at least now we have certainty. "
Said Tai , even more tired .
Qrow : " Despite everything you just learned , you are quite calm . Strangely calm . "
Said a slightly puzzled Qrow . Knowing his friend and knowing his overprotectiveness , his lack of reaction to the news seed rather strange

Said Tai , and Qrow was silent listening to Tai's decision . He did not refuse , did not argue . Because perhaps , Tai's decision was most fair to Yang .

Tai said, smiling slightly at Qrow . Letting his friend know that he has noticed it too .
Qrow : "You know . Sotis there may be things I don't want to talk about . "
Said Qrow looking Tai in the eyes while calmly patting Tai's hand , which rested on his shoulder .
