Ariana and Casey were laying on the bed in Casey’s room. Today was the celebration of Hunter and Ava, Hunter was going to take Ava as his mate. Hunter was going to mark her during the ceremony and pronounce her as his Luna.
Casey and Ariana were not permitted to attend, they were told that they didn’t even want their shadow to fall upon the newly Alpha and Luna. Hunter’s parents were going to retire, and Hunter was going to take over.
"Ari, what are going to do? After today Hunter and Ava will be the new Alpha and Luna and we both know how they’ll treat." Casey said sitting up.
"I don’t know as you know I have been ignoring everyone. I heard soone say that they slled a different scent on ." Ariana said as she was releasing the pregnant phenonal scent.
She was lucky no one had noticed she is pregnant; it was at this ti that she felt grateful that she was unnoticed in this village. Ariana out of the blue felt a pain on her neck, it felt like a burning sensation.
"Casey!" She said reaching out to grab her friend’s hand for support.
"Oh Ari!" Casey said pulling Ariana into a hug.
Casey knew this was the result of Hunter marking Ava who was not his mate, causing the true mate to feel a burning sensation. It was to show that your mate has completely cut off all bond with you, he was accepting Ava as his mate and Luna. Ariana had no clue as to why her neck felt as if soone was pouring lava into her veins.
"Ari Hunter has marked Ava as his mate, which is why your neck is hurting. That is where your mark was supposed to be." Casey said wiping the tears that fell down Ariana’s face.
"He marked Ava?" Ariana asked in confusion, she was still hopeful that Hunter would leave the ceremony and co to her.
"Ari i feel really weak." She heard her wolf say weakly.
"This is what they call the mating pain. You will pain 20 tis more as your mate is doing all that he was supposed to do with you with soone else." Casey said as she watched Ariana crying out in pain and there was nothing that could be done.
