It was weekend and they agreed to no training on weekends. Ava walked into the room and saw Hunter getting ready.

"Hunter!" She called out.

Hunter stopped for a mont and turned to her.

"Can we take our daughter for an outing?" She asked.

"Let’s do it another day, I am busy." He said brushing her off.

"Hunter, I get it, you don’t want to spend ti with , but please you cannot continue to treat our daughter like that." She said stopping him in his tracks.

"Even we were to end our bond, Ariana is already with soone else." She spoke.

"He’s not her mate!" He shouted his eyes going wide with anger.

"I am, she would have been mine had it not been for you." He added taking her hand off his sleeve and pushed her aside.

"Are you still blaming for your mistake?" Ava asked with tears flowing down her eyes.

"It’s funny how you always try to pin it on . Was it that told you to reject her." She said with a bitter laugh.

"No, you ca to . You told that you didn’t find your mate. You said you loved and wanted to be your chosen mate and your luna. Why bla for what you did?" She asked him, he had been the one to commit the mistake, but she was the one everyone was blaming.

"This whole pack, to remove the guilt you all felt decided to make your scapegoat. When my own mate ca, I suggested that we end the bond, but you convinced that you were the one that chose . You said that I was your mate, you made reject my own mate and now when Ariana cos back you decided that its ti." She said bitterly she was now regretting it all.

"I never knew how selfish you could be Hunter. It was you all along, but you made it seem like I seduced you into rejecting your mate, now I know why rejecting your own mate can lead to karma." She added.

"Say what you want, but I will not change my mind about us." He said leaving the room.

Ava looked at him leaving and burst into tears. What was the outco, she had been I love with him for so long, but it seems like he forgot all the love they once shared.

She regrets rejecting her mate, who knows how he was doing. At tis she would wonder how he was but would always push the thoughts aside.

Being reminded every day that she was not the true luna for the pack, she worked extra hard on her duties. She tried so hard to prove that she could do it, but it the truth couldn’t be changed, she was not the true luna and she could never be.

She tried so hard to ignore the truth, but now it seems like she couldn’t ignore it any longer. She had to accept the harsh reality, since they wanted her, they can have her.

Ava was done with all this, she was tired. Every day she would be busy with duties and night she would train like a madman to keep up being the strongest female in the pack.

She thought of the ti when there had been born, their relationship had improved a bit. She thought that it would always been like that.

Ariana’s mother woke up early in the morning and went to the pack house where Ariana and the gang were staying. She wanted to talk to her, she arrived on the door and rang the door bell.

"Who could it be at this early morning? It’s not like we have training." Olivia grumbled when she heard the door bell.

She got up from the bed and saw Josh laying there. She bit her lips, she was hesitating whether to and check on the door or go back in bed.

"Stop looking and see who it is." Josh replied sitting up against the dashboard.

He pushed his hair that was falling down on his side of the face, the move made Olivia freeze on her spot. ’Is he trying to seduce .’ She thought to herself trying to control herself.

Olivia opened the door, when she stepped out, she heard a laugh from inside. She cursed him for teasing her like that. She used a lot of energy to hold herself from going back into the room.

She walked down and walked to the door. She opened the door and saw a woman she didn’t know.

"Can I help you?" She asked looking at the stranger woman.

"Yes dear, I wanted to talk to Ariana." Ariana’s mother replied.

"I am her mother." She added and Olivia looked at her with disdain.

This was the sa woman that would tell her two-year-old daughter that she was a mistake. She made sure that Ariana knew every day that she was the unwanted child.

Ariana for the past eighteen years grew up knowing that she was unwanted, she was ridicules, and her mother just watched and even told not to make a noise.

"I am sure you know very well that Ariana doesn’t want to see you." Olivia said wanting to close the door.

"I really want to talk to her, even if it’s just a few minutes." She said stopping the door from closing.

"What’s with all the noise?" Ariana walked downstairs asking.

"I am kicking strangers out." Olivia replied.

"Ariana, it’s !" Her mother called out desperately.

"Oh!" Ariana said when she saw her mother.

"Do you want to talk to her?" Olivia asked turning to Ariana.

"It’s fine, let handle it." Ariana replied coming closer.

"Ariana!" Her mother said smiling.

Ariana looked at her mother. "Let’s talk outside!" She said coming out.

Her mother was happy that she agreed to walk with her.

They walked and Ariana sat at the front steps. Her mother went and sat down with her.

"Ariana, what happened to you? When did you beco one of them?" She asked as soon as she sat down.

"The night I left." Was all the response that Ariana gave her mother.

"What brings you here?" Ariana asked without looking at her mother.

"I wanted to see you." Her mother replied.

"You have seen , now you can go." Ariana replied coldly.

Her mother looked at her and felt hurt. Ariana was always sweet, she always wanted to please her, but now she didn’t even want to see her.

"You were not like this; you use to want to speak to ." Her mother said with a hurt expression.

"I wanted your love back then, but what did I get in return. You always told that you wished that I never had been born, so what is this now?" Ariana asked looking ahead.

"I suffered a lot in this pack, yet all you people think is that your apologies can make forgive and co back. I don’t have a wolf anymore nor do I want to beco this pack’s energy source." Ariana spoke.

"Ariana, this is all Ava’s fault. She should never have stolen your mate and your position, but don’t worry Hunter is planning on leaving her. You can co back and take back what was yours, Hunter wants to take you as his mate as well." Her mother said.

"Is that what you ca to say?" Ariana asked looking at her mother.

"Ariana, this pack needs you. They need their true luna back." Her mother said hopefully.

"So, this is the true reason you’re here." Ariana said bitterly.

For a mont she thought that her mother really cared about. All the things Bradley said now seed to be a joke.

"I really thought you ca to as my mother, but how could I forget the fact that you never wanted . I seed to have forgotten all the words you used to say, you always wished I was dead. You can take it as I have died, tell Hunter not to get any ideas, he rejected and took Ava as his mate so he should stay away from ." Ariana replied.

"Ariana, when did you get so selfish. Hunter knows he was wrong and wants you to be his mate, you can be the luna. What more do you want?" Her mother accused.

"Selfish, it’s funny how you all think that I am being selfish. This pack used to get stronger and in the an ti made sure that I was weak." Ariana started speaking.

"You know?" Her mother asked in shock.

"Yes, Scar made sure to tell before she died. This pack is really sothing, you guys made feel like I was living in hell. Tis I would wake up to being beaten, tis I would sleep with bruises all over my body. You guys made sure I was drained to the point where I couldn’t heal my own wounds. I was healing like a human, scars everywhere but you guys were never satisfied." She spoke.

"I am a vampire now; I don’t belong in the werewolf’s world." She said standing up.

"Your wish ca true, I am not your daughter anymore nor are you, my mother." Ariana said coldly and left.
