"What? I don’t believe you." Hunter shouted pointing a finger at Adrian.
"Ariana, didn’t you say that you were pregnant before you left?" Hunter questioned.
"Didn’t you say it’s not yours. This child is not yours, so sit your ass down and let the eting start. We didn’t travel all this way to waste ti like this." Ariana scolded him.
"It seems like your son have more important things to worry than the war." One of the warlocks said sarcastically.
"Hunter, sit down! Whatever you want to ask Ariana, do so after the eting." Hunter’s father said urging him to sit back down.
"Just to be clear, I owe this pack nothing, so stop disrupting my life." Ariana said firmly.
Hunter’s father wanted to say sothing but thought to say it later. It was their fault but judging her new attitude she seems different from back then. He wondered if she was one of them, after all he could not feel her wolf anymore.
Hunter seeing the sharp look from his father, decided to ignore it now and just sat down. He was going to demand an explanation from Ariana as soon as the eting ended.
"Alpha Hunter, I hope you will not disturb my sister-in-law further. We don’t have that many restraints." Logan warned.
Logan looked at Ariana, his eyes asking her if she was okay. Ariana nodded and turned to Alia.
"We don’t have much ti. The training begins tomorrow, the battle is in a month’s ti, alpha Hunter if you disrupt the eting again, I’ll make sure you regret it." Alia warned.
"Who are you to threaten ?" Hunter asked with arrogance.
"I am soone who can make your king bow to , who are then?" Alia retorted, sending him a cold glance.
"Alia, I can teach him a lesson for you." Rosemary said her eyes going wide in excitent, she wanted to torture soone, and Hunter looked like the perfect choice.
"Rosemary!" Logan called out in a warning tone.
"Just kidding!" She said putting her hands up surrendering.
"Let’s start!" One of the elders said and the eting started.
The eting took about three hours, all they did was argue about how long they would train in a day.
"This is going nowhere." Olivia muttered.
"Olivia is right, we should just settle for five hours in a day." Ariana said looking at Logan.
Logan was the one who was in charge of them, so she didn’t need to waste her ti speaking to those werewolves.
"We mainly need training in combat." The person who was the leader of the warlocks said, the warlocks mainly because what they were used to was creating portals and using their magic.
"Let’s end it here. The training begins from nine in the morning till two in the afternoon. Everyone will receive the training they needed." The elder said standing up, he was tired and was sure all of them were tired as well.
"Okay!" Logan nodded.
Everyone stood up and started to leave one by one.
Hunter was waiting outside.
"Don’t you at least need to explain?" Hunter asked when Ariana ca out.
"I don’t need to!" She replied balancing the sleeping Sophia on her shoulder.
"If she is not my child, where is my child?" Hunter asked.
"Dead!" Ariana replied coldly, all she could rember was how defenseless she had been at that ti, which resulted in her losing the baby.
"How? Why?" Hunter asked looking like a madman.
"What is the need now? When you rejected the second ti, did you think the child would survive. You knew very well that if a wolf rejects his mate, his mate will be in pain. You mated Ava and marked her, I felt the bond break piece by piece, that was why I left." She looked at him, she decided since he wanted to bother her, she should just tell him and be done with him.
Dylan walked towards them, Ariana saw him and handed Sophia to him. Adrian stood on the side, and she looked at him and nodded. ’I want to cut him off.’ She said to him in through their link.
’Take your ti, I’ll go with Dylan to lay Sophia down.’ He replied to which she nodded.
"Let’s talk sowhere else." Ariana said and without looking at Hunter she started walking ahead.
Hunter seeing that she wanted to talk to him, he followed her. Ariana walked to the near park and turned to him.
"Ask whatever you want to know, after today if you bother , I will not hesitate." Ariana said calmly.
"Ariana, can’t we just talk?" Hunter asked looking at her.
"I said ask what you need to know." She said sternly.
"You were not like this before." Hunter stated.
"If you have nothing else, I will go back." She said turning around to leave.
"Will you give a chance?" He asked hopefully.
"NO!" She said coldly.
"Ariana, will you co back to this pack?" He asked and she looked at him.
"NO!" She replied again.
"Our child?" He asked hopefully.
"Dead!" She replied in one word.
"How?" He asked.
"Did you kill the baby? Did you have to hate that much to the point that you didn’t spare the child. The child was innocent, how could you?" He accused; he shouted each word.
"Is that what you think?" She asked, but then she laughed.
"Back then when I told you that I was pregnant, what was your response?" She asked him, Hunter avoided her gaze.
"You said the child was not yours, do you have any idea the pain I went through because of your rejection. That night you marked Ava and mated her; do you have any idea what I went through." She paused.
"I was about to lose the child because of you that day. I decided to leave thinking that I would have saved my child’s life, I was attacked that night." She said, Hunter lifted his head and looked at her in shock.
"You were attacked?" He asked in shock.
"Yes, by five rogues. Scar was weak from the pain of your rejection that she couldn’t fight back, your child died then." She spoke.
"Ariana, I know was really wrong." He said grabbing her by her shoulders.
"I will break the bond with Ava." He said looking at her.
"Even if you did, I will never be with you." She replied.
"Why? I have been apologizing for so long, why won’t you give another chance? Is it because of him?" He asked with anger, his wolf coming out.
"Control your human!" Ariana said when she saw it was his wolf now.
"What happened to scar?" He asked when he didn’t sense her.
"She died!" Ariana replied calmly looking at the sky.
"The attack was too much, she died after telling Adrian was my mate. Adrian saved that night and gave a new life." She spoke.
"By becoming a vampire. You know that for a werewolf to beco a vampire they have to kill their wolf?" He asked feeling anger rising within him.
While Ariana was Hunter’s mate, Ariana’s wolf scar had been his mate.
"Did you have to kill her just to beco one of them?" He shouted his face with disgust.
"I didn’t, she was on her last breath when she told to let her go and start a new life. We were both dying when he found , she also told how this pack was using ." She spoke and Hunter’s wolf turned to the side.
"Tell your human the bond we shared has been broken for a long ti. I am happy with my life now, if he continues to pester , then don’t bla for being rude." Ariana spoke and left.
Hunter fell to his knees after Ariana left. His wolf retreated back into the back of his mind. Hunter looked at the sky, rain started pouring down and he let the tears fall.
It was his fault; everything was his fault. When he first saw Ariana was his mate all he could think was to reject her. He never thought that this would be the consequences behind his actions that day.
The child he had hoped that would bring them back together was long gone. The bond that they had was broken by him.
He rembered when he touched her the first ti, there was sparks flying everywhere, but when he touched now there was nothing. This was proof that they were no longer connected.
Ariana entered her room and found Adrian sitting on the bed.
"Were you waiting for ?" She asked walking closer.
"I don’t like him." He said referring to Hunter.
"Neither do I!" She said sitting next to him.
"I have made everything clear to him, if he bothers again, I will set his ass on fire." She said seeing the jealousy in his eyes.
"I’ll be sure to strike him with lighting." He said and lifted her chin with one hand.
"You’re mine!" He said possessively.
"All yours!" She replied and he leaned in for a kiss.
