Ava looked at the intruders, they looked like humans but at the sa ti didn’t. One of the warriors turned into a wolf and ran towards them. He was about to attack when the slamd him and his body flew crushing down on the tree.
"What are they? They don’t seem to be human." Chad asked, Chad was one of the warriors.
"Luna, you need to get out of here." One of the pack mbers said seeing the situation becoming serious.
"No, I’ll fight with you all." She said and leaped forward to bite the creature.
The creature anticipated her move and lifted its leg and kicked her in abdon. Ava landed on the ground and felt pain in where she had been kicked.
"Luna!" The wolves shouted looking at Ava.
"Ava go back and protect the won and children. Them seeing you here will distract them." Hunter used his Alpha tone to command her.
Since Ava was the Luna and insisted on staying, they would not be able to focus. Their natural instinct would kick in to protect, hence they wouldn’t be able to fight back.
"Kill!" The creatures shouted and marched towards them.
After five hours they managed to kill two of three of them, the other two decided to run away. Although they managed to win, they lost a lot of warriors, defending their pack now would be impossible.
Hunter dragged his body along with the others, they were heavily injured. They managed to hold each and made to the pack house, before they collapsed outside.
"Hunter!" Ava ran holding her abdon when she saw him collapsing on the floor.
"Quick, let’s get them to the hospital." Ava instructed trying to lift Hunter up.
"Luna, you need to get checked as well." An oga said coming to help her.
"Let’s get them first to the hospital." She replied and several other won ca to lift them.
"Just call an ambulance." Casey said with tears in her eyes, she was holding a badly injured Bradley in her arms.
She looked around and all she could see was injured people.
"Casey, do sothing. You study dicine don’t you." One of the won said looking at her mate.
"I-I-I!" She tried, but seeing Bradley’s injured body she couldn’t think straight.
"Bradley... please hold on." She said crying.
"Where’s the damn ambulance?" Casey shouted holding his face.
"Casey pull yourself together and think." Soone shouted.
"I can’t think." She said shaking her head crying.
"Casey, if you don’t do anything they could all die." Soone shouted again.
"Casey- g-go and help t-them." Bradley said weakly.
Casey wiped her tears and nodded, she stood up and started to aid them. The ambulances arrived and took them.
"It’s good thing you provided them with the first aid treatnt." The paradic said and they stated to lift them up.
After they finished putting them in the ambulance, the ambulance drove to the hospital. Casey looked at Bradley who was attached by the machines.
"Doctor how is he?" She asked when she saw the doctor walking in.
"He is in a very critical condition now. I suggest as his mate; you need to stay by his side. Your wolf will try and heal his." The doctor replied.
Casey nodded and held his hand.
"Bradley, you need to pull through. I didn’t even get the chance to tell you." She said crying.
Casey took his hand and pressed it on her belly. "You need to fight for us, you have to co back to ." She said and pressed a kiss on his lips.
Casey fell asleep holding his hand.
Ava walked in to see Hunter getting stitches. "Hunter, are you okay?" She asked.
"I’m fine!" Hunter said indifferently.
"I see! I’ll leave you then." Ava said sadly and turned to leave.
"What you did today should never be repeated." He said coldly.
"What did I do that was so bad?" She asked turning back to him.
"All I wanted was to help protect the pack, is it wrong now for to do that?" She asked looking at him.
"You know that a luna can never join a fight. You were distracting them today." He replied coldly.
"OH, put the bla on . Everyone in this pack surely does put the bla everything on ." She said annoyed.
"Ariana left, bla . We get attacked it’s on . You seem to have forgotten that I only found out Ariana was your mate after she left, by then you were the one that ca to and said you wanted to make your luna. Don’t try to put all the bla on ." She shouted and left the room and slamd the door behind her.
Her words hit hard, and he had nothing to say. It was him that rejected Ariana and went to straight to Ava and convinced to be his luna. ’Even if I don’t like, you can’t keep blaming her for everything. She never even went to check on her wound and ca straight here to you.’ Hunter’s wolf scolded.
"Ava!" Hunter tried to mind link, but he was t with the wall.
"I don’t want to ss any chance that I would have with Ariana." Hunter told his wolf.
"And what makes you think that even Ariana ca back, she would take you back?" His wolf asked him.
His wolf could no longer feel a connection with Ariana’s wolf.
"She was pregnant when she left. Maybe for the sake of the child she will accept ." Hunter said hopefully.
"And what about the child that you have with Ava? Will you abandon her too?" His wolf asked with sarcasm.
"I’ll support her, but Ariana will have to co back to . I am her mate after all." Hunter replied dreaming of Ariana.
"Leave that for when Ariana cos back. Where do you think those creatures ca from." His wolf asked bringing the attack to mind.
"I don’t know, I have to go back and write a report to the werewolf king." Hunter said and stood.
Thanks to his alpha blood he healed in no ti.
