’A mission?’ Hutton thought with a confused feeling growing up within him. But it seems the Emperor on the throne could be able to read Hutton’s thoughts as he suddenly brought out a light smile on his face while saying.
"Yes, a mission. But before I tell you what this mission is, let first introduce myself"
"My na is Emperor Chen and I am the Last cultivator at the Nascent soul stage whose consciousness still roams the earth"
"A Nascent soul cultivator?" Hutton unknowingly muttered with a curious look on his face. When the Emperor whose first na is Chen heard him, he was montarily stunned before he asked with a weird expression on his face.
"Don’t you know the stages in cultivation?"
"Am sorry Emperor but unfortunately, I don’t" Hutton answered with a low and anxious voice. Hutton is afraid that since he doesn’t know the stages of cultivation, he might miss one of the greatest opportunities in his life.
When Emperor Chen heard him, he imdiately fell silent for a while before he answered with a helpless smile on his face.
"Well since I have already choose you, then there is no turning back from this now"
"There are five stages of cultivation before you reach immortality. And these stages are nad Foundation establishnt, Qi condensation, Foundation building, Core formation and finally Nascent soul stage".
"All the stages in cultivation except Nascent soul stage have 10 layers in them. As for the Nascent soul stage, the Nascent Soul stage represents a profound level of spiritual cultivation. At this stage, cultivators have refined their essence to the point where they can form a nascent soul".
"This nascent soul is a condensed form of their spiritual energy, granting them imnse power and abilities. Cultivators at this stage are often depicted as being able to manipulate powerful energies, control elents, and exhibit extraordinary martial prowess"
’Woah..’ Hutton thought with a shocked look on his face while he listened to what Emperor Chen is explaining.
"Now that you know the stages of cultivation, you should also know that I am the last person who have successfully reached immortality in this world" Emperor Chen said with a sad look on his face.
"Yes Emperor. But why did you call Emperor?" Hutton asked with a curious expression on his face.
When Emperor Chen heard the question Hutton asked him, his expression instantly beca grim as he answered.
"I chose you because you have the potential to stop an organization that wants to remove the World’s order"
"The World’s order?" Hutton asked with a blank look on his face. But Emperor Chen expected this reaction as he continued in a deep voice this ti.
"Yes, the Worlds Order refers to the intricate hierarchy of realms and dinsions that exist beyond the mortal realm. It encompasses a vast network of worlds, each governed by its own set of laws and inhabited by various beings, from lowly mortals to powerful immortals and divine beings. The order of these worlds is maintained by the balance of power between different factions, such as sects, clans, and empires, each vying for dominance and striving to ascend to higher realms through cultivation of qi, martial arts, and spiritual enlightennt. At the pinnacle of this order lies the Celestial Realm, where the most powerful beings reside, overseeing the balance of the entire cosmos"
’Sh*t, so such a thing exists?’ Hutton thought with a look of disbelief on his face. Throughout his past life till now, he doesn’t believe in immortality or even spiritual beings that govern the multi dinsions.
What he believes is that human is the highest life forms in the entire cosmos and these humans could die. But hearing this from a human that have actually achieved immortality has turn his world upside down.
"So what is the na of this organization?" But later on, he still cald himself down as he asked with a respectful voice.
"This organization is called ’The Harbingers’ and there one and only goal is to cause chaos across the entire cosmos. The leader of this organization is nad ’The Silent hand’ and is regarding as one of the most notorious celestial realm cultivator in the immortal realm" Emperor Chen explained with a deep voice.
"The Celestial realm? The immortal realm? These aren’t in the stages of cultivation you explained to earlier" Hutton said with a confused look on his face. But Emperor Chen just gave out a light smile as he answered.
"You don’t have to know all these things yet, what you have to do now is to cleanse your body"
"Cleanse my body?" Hutton asked with a more confused look on his face while he thought.
’But I have taken my bath twice today’
"Yes and i am not going to explain it to you this ti, I am just going to show you" Emperor Chen said with a light smile on his face as he suddenly raised his right hand and quickly flicked two of his fingers together.
In the next mont, Hutton and Emperor Chen find themselves in another hall that looks completely different to the throne room.
In the heart of an ancient pagoda, nestled amidst the vast expanse of the South China Sea, lies a hidden bathing room steeped in history and mystery. Carved from stone with intricate designs depicting mythical creatures and celestial beings, the room exudes an aura of tranquility and reverence.
Upon entering, one is greeted by the soft glow of lanterns hanging from the ceiling, casting gentle shadows on the polished marble floors. The air is thick with the scent of exotic incense, mingling with the salty breeze that drifts in through latticed windows adorned with delicate carvings of lotus flowers and dragons.
In the center of the room sits a large, circular pool fed by a cascading waterfall, its waters crystal clear and inviting. Surrounding the pool are ornate stone benches, where weary travelers can rest and soak in the rejuvenating waters while gazing out at the endless expanse of the sea beyond.
Above the pool, a dod ceiling rises high into the heavens, adorned with intricate mosaics depicting scenes from ancient legends and tales of heroism. Shafts of sunlight filter through stained glass windows, casting kaleidoscopic patterns of color across the room.
This bathing room, steeped in history and surrounded by the boundless beauty of the South China Sea, serves as a sanctuary for the soul, a place where one can cleanse both body and spirit amidst the tiless embrace of the ocean’s embrace.
’How can such places be located in a remote ancient pagoda at the middle of the south China sea?’ Hutton thought with a baffled look on his face. But it seems like Emperor Chen was hearing his thoughts as he answered with a light smile on his face.
"Didn’t you see the houses that was connected to the ancient pagoda?"
"Houses?" not finding it strange that Emperor Chen was able to answer his question he asked himself, he spoke up with a confused look on his face.
But not too long after, he suddenly rembered the houses he saw floating on the south China sea while he was following the Grand elder of the Ling family into the ancient pagoda.
’How did we cross the distance between the ancient pagoda and the houses so quickly?’ Hutton thought with a baffled look on his face. But Emperor Chen choosed not to answer this question as he pointed towards the pool and said.
"I want you to take off all your clothes and get into the dicine pool"
"dicine pool?" Hutton imdiately asked with a confused look on his face after hearing what Emperor Chen said.
"Yes a dicine pool. Why it is called a dicine pool is because The water in a dicine pool is said to be infused with the essence of rare herbs, minerals, and mystical energies, making it a powerful elixir for healing and cultivation. Imrsing oneself in the rejuvenating waters of a dicine pool is believed to enhance one’s vitality, strengthen the body, and accelerate the progress of cultivation". Emperor Chen answered with a light smile on his face.
"Can I know who created this kind of pool Emperor?" Hutton asked with am interested look on his face. Throughout his past life till now, he has never heard of anything called or similarly called a dicine pool.
"Well I don’t really know who created it. But, the Legends speak of ancient cultivators and wise sages who discovered these dicine pools centuries ago and used them to unlock their true potential, achieving enlightennt and mastery over the elents. Today, these pools remain hidden from the eyes of ordinary mortals, guarded by powerful guardians and hidden within the depths of the natural world, awaiting those brave and worthy enough to seek them out" Emperor Chen said with a respectful look on his face.
’if so, then this dicine pool must be priceless’ Hutton thought before he began to take off his clothes.
"Good, now get into the pool and sit cross legged in it while you feel the contents of the pool" After seeing Hutton take off all his clothes, Emperor Chen said with a light smile on his face.
’Well, here goes nothing’ Hutton thought with a solemn expression on his face as he went into the pool.
