I said to the already angry Pete in front of .
It’s been a while now since I started to provoke him and make him attack .
And fortunately for —I just saw a small movent from his right shoulder after my last provocation.

I thought as I focused myself.
I’m not just baiting Pete to attack for no reason, I have two. And one of them is to test my new capabilities.

I muttered in a provocative voice as I successfully evaded Pete’s fist.

The tension around them just got even worse! And then after that—

Pete launched another punch!
’I ALREADY FUCKED UP! I’LL AT LEAST HIT HIM ONCE!!!’
He thought to himself, frowning.
Though Raven already predicted that he would do this. So without even activating his skills—

Raven opened his mouth and muttered that as he frowned.

Pete stopped his approach and frowned.
It’s because in front of Raven... Four figures were standing and looking at him with serious eyes.
"Wow, didn’t know you guys would step forward."
Raven said, he was genuinely slightly shocked to see this.
In front of him were Blake, Alec, Adelle, and Aoi. They were shielding him from Pete.
Pete, of course, stopped not because he couldn’t handle them—it was their backgrounds and achievents that made him hesitate and stop.
"Tch—!"
He clicked his tongue in annoyance.
Anyway, seeing Pete motionless—Adelle looked back at Raven.
"It’s not my style to just watch when a friend is in trouble."
Then she answered to Raven’s statent just now.
Raven was actually surprised at her words. Then he smiled at her and shrugged his shoulders.
"Who said I was in trouble? I could handle myself against him just fine."
He declared confidently.
"Yeah right, stop with your bullshits now."
But Adelle didn’t believe him.
Raven frowned. Though he knew deep inside that with their current rank difference, he could only hold himself up against Pete for about a minute. So she’s not wrong.
That’s a very short amount of ti.
Even after considering the fact that Pete is not a combat-oriented awakened... That’s the max he could hold up against him.

And Kendy entered the room.

Kendy’s oppressive and authoritative voice spread across the not-so-small rectangular classroom.
And everyone’s eyes then turned toward him.
Raven already knew he was gonna co when Pete launched his first punch.

The reason Raven was not scared of confronting Pete in a fight is because he knows a staff mber will co and stop him.

Pete, of course, got angrier—but now that he’s thinking normally again after being stopped by Kendy, he knew that being further provoked by Raven would not help him in any way.
So with deep breaths, he cald himself down and averted his eyes away from Raven.
’Tsk, he didn’t bite anymore.’
Raven grumbled inwardly, disappointed.
His gaze then went back to Kendy... And he frowned.
Kendy was looking at him too with a serious and tired look.
Raven just shrugged his shoulders before secretly pointing at Pete.
’He started it.’
He mouthed.
Shaking his head and letting out an exhausted sigh afterward, Kendy opened his mouth.
"Pete, the headmaster is calling for you."
Kendy declared that, looking at Pete with disappointnt.
"But..."
Pete tried to refute... Though after seeing that every student and Kendy were looking at him with disappointed eyes—
He just bit his lower lip and clenched his hands tightly as he weakly nodded his head.
"I understand."
Pete answered and started to calmly walk toward Kendy’s side.
Though he looked calm on the outside, he was cursing and killing Raven again and again inside his mind.

And soon, Pete got out of the room.
Kendy glanced at Raven one last ti.
"You should rest. Your nose is bleeding."
He said and left.
Hearing his words, everyone looked at Raven, and then they saw blood dripping from his nose and his eyes seed tired.
His face was pale. Overall, Raven’s complexion didn’t look that good.
Raven touched his nose and confird that there really was blood coming out from it.
"Are you okay?"
Blake approached him and asked in a worried tone.
Soon, Alec, Adelle, and even Aoi followed and looked at Raven with eyes that contained different emotions.
Looking at them, Raven casually waved his hand and smiled.
"I’m fine, I just need a little rest."
He stated, which made the others frown.
"I can use healing magic, let help you."
Adelle suggested with a determined and concerned voice.
Raven just looked at her for so quite ti before nodding his head.
"Please do so, I’d really appreciate it."
He said and stood in front of her.
But before Adelle started, he looked at Blake, Aoi, and Alec.
Then with a little bow...
"Thanks for shielding against Pete earlier."
He thanked them.
"I just don’t think a professor should be attacking a student, so I chose to interfere."
Aoi replied with a shrug.

Then Alec and Blake followed.
Raven then glanced at Curtis and Eve who were standing near to each other, then he gave them a light bow as a sign of gratitude.
Raven didn’t know how, but he’s pretty certain that the two of them covered for him at so point too.
Curtis just ignored him while Eve just furrowed her brows and eye-rolled at him.
Not that Raven minded their reactions.
Moving on... Adelle gently held Raven’s hands.
Raven felt a soft touch—Adelle’s hands were small and warm.
And feeling that... He frowned.
’This is uncomfortable...’
He thought as Adelle closed her eyes and started mumbling a chant.
Then not long after, a yellowish mana ca out from her hand and soon covered Raven’s whole body.
Whoosh~
Raven felt a warm and comfortable sensation while being subjected to Adelle’s mana. And soon, he started to regain energy and feel much better.
’Wow... Her healing skill is better than I expected.’
Raven thought.
Adelle’s abilities are focused on support magic and skills.
She already mastered all 1st to 4th tier buffs and debuffs, healing and restraining magic, and etc.
So after just so good seconds... Adelle opened her eyes again and retrieved her hands.
"How are you feeling?"
She then asked Raven.
And at her question—Raven smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
"Never felt better this whole week."
He answered.
Adelle was relieved hearing his response as she thought her skills wouldn’t work on Raven because of his weird nature.
Anyway, just then... Eve and Curtis joined them.
"Why did you provoke Professor Pete in the first place?"
Eve asked Raven. She was frowning, but she’s slightly curious too of the reason.
"He started it first, I just gave him a taste of his own dicine. How would I know he can’t hold his temper?"
Raven sarcastically answered while looking at her calmly.
While what he said was true... He actually have another reason for doing that.
’Pete is most likely hired by that Dick.Son of a bitch to keep an eye on ... It was so obvious so I needed to remove him as he might hinder my plans in so way or another.’
Raven thought to himself.
Pete was never kind to him before, but at least he didn’t try to pick on him or attack him back then.
