After the female ritualist rejoined the fight fully vexed, this ti streams of blood by her side, the witches had without delay, hoisted I and Isolde away.

With the massive drain on my body, my energy sapped away, I didn’t get to see more before I passed out.

I don’t know how long I had been unconscious, but currently, I was awake and my lips were tightly pressed together as I paced around the narrow room I had been placed in.

It was a cell with bare brown walls, bars at one end, and moss on its ceiling.

Thankfully, the place was well-lit and I could see the other cells close to mine, the rooms placed so they made a circle at the center, a dark, narrow passage directly opposite my cell, the only exit.

There were five cells in the gathering, and of them, four were occupied.

I in one, Ninja Momma in another, the female ritualist in another, and so ragged man in the last.

Ninja Momma was passed out, and with the ragged man muttering incomprehensibly, my only company was the ritualist but as you could have all guessed, she sat with her back pressed against the wall and kept shut.

"You know, if we work together, we could figure sothing out, escape from here."

Unlike before, where I had just been cuffed, right now I had cuffs connected to chains that bound my wrists and neck connected to the wall of the cell.

The current cuffs didn’t drain my energy like the previous but rather were heavy as hell.

I took a few more steps and fell on my butt, a loud thump sounding as my wrists t the ground, veins popping all over.

My right hand was still numb, so it was my left that ached and stung.

Light and comfortable, the collar on my neck served a completely different purpose; it poorly restricted my use of Psion.

The presence of the word ’poorly’ wasn’t a mistake.

Perhaps it was due to the uniqueness of my Psion, but I could freely move the energies in my head.

I knew about the collar’s function because I could feel a heavy oppression on the sea in my head.

By virtue of my feelings, any attempt to manipulate my Psion should be t with failure, but with a bit of effort, not only could I move the energy, I could also get it to flow out into the world.

The collars were like a barricade made of bars; my energies slipped through, facing but a bit of resistance.

"Echo."

It was a risky move, but I had to.

Playing it safe, I vowed to stop after getting the first 3D image, but after studying the contents of a 100-ter radius, I widened my search.

"Echo!!"

This ti my search went as far as 500.

My discoveries made frown, and I upped the distance.

"Echo!!"

The world for close to two kiloters popped in my head, the appearance of the 3D image succeeded by an alarm ringing through the entire prison.

The white light at the center turned red, flashing continuously as an alarm from all around blared.

The blaring sound drew the attention of neighbors, even waking the unconscious one, and they all exchanged looks with one another.

I thought the ragged man had gone psycho, but pushing aside the brown dirty hair that covered his face, he looked at each of us critically.

I wasn’t paid any special attention, not even by the bound ritualist, and I hoped this would apply for all.

"Marcus, where are you?" Isolde asked through the blaring noise, the dryness in her throat clear even with the sound.

"I’m not sure, but I think we’re in an underground cell."

"Oh," Isolde whispered, saying nothing more as she took stock of her current situation.

I left the woman to her thoughts, using the next minutes to co to terms with what I had just discovered.

We were not in the Vatican or even in Ro as I had thought; this prison, this place that we were, was an island, and we were in a prison underground.

"Have you talked with anyone?" Isolde asked after a few minutes.

"No, woke up and found myself here."

Nodding, the woman looked up to the ceiling outside her cell, turning to questioningly.

The siren had stopped blaring, but the red light still blinked.

"I don’t know, it just suddenly ca on."

"Sure..."

The hard stare the woman had on for so seconds told what she thought, and then she moved on to other questions.

"I didn’t expect you to get beaten up. I an damn, you even lost your coat — your hair has definitely seen better days."

After confirming with , I hadn’t expected Ninja Momma to speak to our one-ti opponent, worst of all, antagonize her.

"Did you expect her to get beat up?"

The question was directed at , and spotting no subtle hints from the troubleso milf, I went with the truth.

"No."

"So you’re all talk and no bark without that wand of yours, huh?"

While I had co across the female ritualist before, Isolde’s words reminded that she and the woman had been engaged in a prolonged battle before my arrival, and from her words, it was clear they had gotten quite close during the course of their fight.

"You spoke so majestically, yet here you are locked up like a dog, stuck with the filthy insects of the world.

Life must suck for you at the mont."

Seated before the bars of my cell, I quietly watched the spectacle between the two won.

I had known Ninja Momma long enough to never call her a fool. There was a chance that at the mont she was just being petty, but given the situation, I trusted that there had to be more to her pettiness.

Isolde had to be gunning for sothing more.

"Hey, I’m talking to you, bitch." The milf banged the iron in front of her.

As she had done to , the female ritualist ignored Ninja Momma, her taunts not moving her in the slightest, and this disregard had surprisingly gotten under Isolde’s skin.

"Noisy..." the female spoke for the first ti, glancing up at Isolde with a aningful gaze.

"From your actions, it’s clear you have no idea where we are.

Instead of scheming against , you should be worried about yourself and your lover."
