I was honestly curious about what Chiara planned next.

In broad daylight, well, several feet underground, surrounded by strong, powerful walls, an assassination had been attempted on Chiara. And from what I’d observed so far, she held a high position in the Vatican.

The veiled woman had been nervous back in the small chapel, but as we exited, it was like a switch had been flipped, calm returned to her entire being.

"Follow ."

The desire to make small talk as we moved blossod in , my eyes repeatedly going over the veiled female’s form, not in lust, but in abundant curiosity.

I wondered if she was the one I had co for, and honestly, I believed she was. The only thing holding back and giving doubts was how easy it had been.

For soone who had been under the guidance of a high-level knight and then had her records wiped off the face of the world, I expected her to be well-hidden by the organisation that harboured her.

I had thought I would need to do a full infiltration of the Vatican to find her, but well...

"Seems I already did that by contacting Chiara," I muttered.

I kept my eyes peeled open as we moved, morising the paths we followed. The bare red walls of the world underneath the Vatican were intriguing.

We ca across a few nuns on our way, all of them dressed in white and, interestingly enough, giving the veiled woman a wide berth — this despite the narrow corridors.

After going up a few stairs and reaching the end of the corridor, we ca before a door, which the veiled lady opened for .

"So, Lucy..." I drawled after taking a few steps into the room, my eyes falling on a large bed covered in blue sheets.

I took note of the study table to the side, the bare walls, and the complete lack of any electronic device.

All the room had was a basic bulb on the wall and at the table.

Behind , the door closed and footsteps clicked. The sound of the veiled woman walking made look down at the wood covering the floor, and also made realize she had on thick boots.

"You’ve taken a strong interest in . Why?"

I watched as the woman moved past and took a seat, her butt sinking into the mattress. She exuded a calm aura, different from back at the chapel and her indifference nearly made question my suspicions.

"Because I suspect you to be a woman I know, Lucy Corlea."

My answer was direct, and the lady, turning to with her gaze concealed behind the white cloth she had on, shook her head.

"You have the wrong person."

"Hmm. My bad. Let correct that statent. I know you are my lover, Lucy Corlea."

"Can you bet your life on that?" she softly asked, getting to her feet and turning to .

If you’re wondering why I don’t just use Echo or Mind Vision to look past the veil, well, the mont we got in the room, I tried.

Earlier, back in the chapel, who the veiled woman was should have been revealed to without even trying. At that ti, the world in the room had been laid bare before , but then the veiled woman had been a sun I could not look past. It had been so then, and it was still so now.

Whatever clothes Lucy had on, I could not peek past them, leaving to draw out the answer.

"Sure... if you can take it," I answered, saying the rest in my head.

"I..." she started.

The entire conversation was dragging and a waste, so I sped forward.

Within seconds, I was a step from the woman, my hands on the edge of her veil and her hands pressing the ends of two pins into my neck.

For a few seconds, nobody moved. We silently stared at each other, then I slowly took off her veil.

She pressed harder as my hands rose, the needles she held going past my skin. I could feel my blood flowing out.

First ca the lips, my mory rembering their red nature, then there was the nose, and the eyes.

A deep black, seemingly holding stars within, giving a window into the soul of the person owning them, a person I had lost for more than a month.

"Beautiful."

Lucy didn’t appreciate my words. Taking a step away from , she walked past and over to the wardrobe by the side, opening it and sifting through clothes.

"You plan on staying here for the rest of your life?"

As I asked this question, I activated the system, imdiately calling up Lucy’s profile.

I hadn’t gotten any information on losing a sugar baby, but it was important I knew what I was dealing with.

"I like it here," the woman answered, reaching for the back of her long white dress.

"Let help."

Before she could even let out a word, I was standing behind Lucy, unzipping her dress.

"Thank you."

The dress slipped off, and in a second, Lucy’s body was exposed to , her black bra and undies coming into view.

"Turn around."

"Why?"

"Your ass has gotten bigger. I want to see if it’s the sa for your tits."

Whatever Lucy was, whatever act or emotion she was trying to sell, I was unfazed by it. I was still the sa pervert she knew.

"I thought the blonde wouldn’t," but she did, and I found myself face to face with a red-eyed woman.

Lucy’s chest had swelled. I had my suspicions, I’d seen the swell in her chest area when she still had on her robes, but I never expected them to have gotten so big.

Her bust had experienced growth surpassing the rear, and within, I felt disappointnt.

I had complaints about this developnt, but the red eyes staring at were more pressing.
