"Blake they just lead a bunch of people to the first building and entered it. After being in there for a few minutes a really pissed off man in military duds just returned to the first building and called everyone out to the front yard and seems to be doing a headcount." Bret sent a ssage to Blake.
"Don't worry, I am almost done here. Even if they did find I doubt they can catch but to be safe just be ready." Blake was fairly certain he could escape this place on his own, but there was always a slim chance of him not being able to.
"Got it. Stay safe. We got you covered." Bret answered.
Out in the front yard, a man in military duds looked at everyone all lined up in a semi orderly fashion and asked: "Who is missing?"
"Dan is missing and the new guy. But besides that, there are the ones on patrol."
"Dan asked if I had seen the new guy, and I told him that he headed out back."
"The new guy that ca today?" The man in military duds asked.
"Yes, sir! He showed up earlier today."
"A new guy showed up? How co we do not know about it? We were on watch!" One of the tower watchn yelled out. He looked very confused.
The man in military duds frowned. It was not impossible for soone to enter the base, but they would need to go through the front gate to enter through the front doors of the building. He had personally talked with Dan. After so thought, he felt like this person was strange. "Everyone gear up, we will be searching for Dan and this new guy. I want everyone ready in five minutes!"
With that, the whole base was suddenly mobilized. Bret, who was watching, couldn't help but be surprised at how orderly they all beca all of a sudden. "Those bastards! Blake, man, hurry up, or we will be in for a fight!"
Blake, at this ti, did not care about what was going on outside the building he was in, he was busy looking at the F-76 fighter jet sitting in front of him. "Now this….. It's useful! Well, maybe…." Blake frowned as he tried to think of ways to use it but couldn't think of much. He just stuffed it in his pouch before clearing the place out. When he was done, he looked around once more before slipping out of the hangar with a smile on his face.
"Halt!" Soone yelled out and pointed a gun at Blake.
Blake turned to see a man in jeans and a t-shirt with a rifle on his shoulder standing there. "You shouldn't point guns at people, it's not nice."
Blake's calmness caused the man to feel like sothing was off. He looked at Blake and then at the hole in the wall, which he knew was never there, and felt sothing was off. He edged over and peeked inside, and frowned. "What did you do here!?"
"? Can't I look inside an empty building?" Blake asked while smiling. He looked as if he really did nothing wrong.
"Empty my ass! It is well known that this base houses many pieces of equipnt. This is why all the doors are so tightly secured, yet you just so happened to find a hole in the wall that was not there a few hours ago!? Don't take for a fool!" The man yelled out. He felt like Blake was trying to play gas with him.
"Oh? But it was here when I arrived? What can I do? Maybe the wall is weak?" Blake replied. He was still smiling away.
"The wall seems to have lted away. How the hell did it just appear!? You are coming with ." The man decided not to ask any more questions since he knew the man in front of him would just keep smiling.
"Sorry, but I have things to deal with, so I will leave this to you." Blake bowed his head in apology before turning and walking away.
"I said halt! Do not make shoot!" The man was shaking. He had never pointed a gun at another human being before, but now he had no choice!
"Shoot if you are going to shoot? Why yell such stupid things? Anyway, I need to go, so I will go." Blake just kept walking forward with no intention of stopping.
The man with the gun finger was twitching, and as if his finger did it reflexively, it pressed the trigger, causing the gun to go off. But instead of a man falling to the ground, a blue barrier thing appeared around the young man in front of him. The bullet that should have blasted through the man's head was stopped inches away from the man and fell to the floor. "What!?"
Blake sighed as he lifted his hand and waved. "This is a new age. Magic is what rules this world now. Only fools would let weapons of old kill them. Sayonara!"
Sadly Blake's cool exit was quickly stopped when he was surrounded by ten people. The man in military duds stepped forward with his gun drawn and pointing at Blake and said: "Halt! Who are you, and why did you co here?"
Blake yawned as he looked at the man in front of him. "Are you the one who decided to use the won here as objects of pleasure for n?"
"What?" The man in military duds was confused by Blake's question.
"I said, are you the pimp who decided to use won as a ans of stress relief, as you call it, in exchange for giving them more food? I an, it's fine if they do not care, but if they were forced into it in order to gain benefits or because they would go without, then I think you should point that gun at yourself first." Blake never liked this way of treating girls or even n in such a way. It made no sense to him, and he could not agree with this way of doing things if the girls were coerced into it for more benefits.
