"It's been a long ti... Todoroki Enji."
Dabi called out Endeavor's real na. Weak and barely able to stand, Endeavor looked at the scarred young man in front of him, confused. This kid, with burns on his face and body, had just spoken his na. And from the way he said it, it sounded like they knew each other.
"Seeing you in such a pathetic state... I can't tell you how happy that makes ."
"The League of Villains... Dabi."
Even though his voice was weak, Endeavor forced himself to straighten up and barked in his usual authoritative tone.
"Are you here for revenge?"
"Then go ahead. A hero will never bow to a villain!"
"Is that so...?"
Listening to Endeavor's determined words, Dabi unconsciously wiped the corner of his eye before speaking again, his voice filled with anger and resentnt.
"You really don't rember ? That's... disappointing. But whatever."
Dabi slowly raised his right hand, aiming it directly at Endeavor. The murderous intent in his eyes was impossible to miss.
But at that mont, the No. 2 hero was completely drained. He couldn't even stand, let alone fight back.
"Endeavor!"
All Might, though exhausted, refused to let this happen. He prepared to use the last of his strength to rush in and save Endeavor.
But soone was faster.
Several steel wires shot forward, wrapping tightly around Dabi and restraining him completely.
Midoriya Izuku's cold voice rang out.
"Dabi... ignoring my orders... do you have a death wish?"
Midoriya had given strict orders to every mber of the League of Villains—under no circumstances were they allowed to kill heroes. If anyone disobeyed, they would be eliminated without hesitation. That rule applied to everyone, even Dabi, who had supported him all this ti.
"Of course not... But, boss, isn't the League of Villains' goal to eliminate all those who have committed serious cris?"
Dabi, still strangled by the steel wires, showed no signs of panic. Instead, he questioned Midoriya about the mission of the new League of Villains.
"That's correct. But what you were about to do has nothing to do with that!"
Midoriya's tone was ice cold. It was clear that Dabi had intended to kill Endeavor, and he wasn't going to let that slide. The League of Villains' mission was to eliminate criminals, not to execute heroes.
"Then it's fine... because Endeavor is no hero. This man is a criminal who doesn't deserve that title!"
Dabi's face twisted with fury as he shouted, shocking everyone around him. His hatred toward Endeavor was undeniable.
"You... could it be—?"
At that mont, Endeavor—no, Todoroki Enji—finally realized sothing.
Though Dabi's hair was black now and his burned face had altered his appearance, his Quirk and the hatred in his words made it clear.
This irresponsible father finally rembered the one person he had wronged.
"Touya..."
"Oh? You finally rember sothing, huh... you piece of shit old man."
"What?!"
Hearing this exchange, both Midoriya and All Might were stunned.
Dabi and Endeavor... were father and son?!
That was almost too ridiculous to believe.
"Endeavor... You!!"
All Might was furious. He had so idea of what went on in Endeavor's family, but he never imagined that his eldest son—who had run away from ho years ago—would turn into a villain. And from the looks of it, Endeavor was definitely responsible for this.
"Dabi... Are you Todoroki Shoto's brother?"
Midoriya Izuku was just as shocked. He had heard about Endeavor's family situation from All Might and Todoroki Shoto, but he never expected sothing like this. A father who was a hero, but his son beca a villain. It was clear that Endeavor must have done sothing unforgivable.
"Boss, now that you know the truth, can you let go? I still need to send this piece of trash father to hell."
"..."
Dabi's twisted, manic expression made Midoriya feel conflicted. This was clearly Endeavor's family issue, and as an outsider, he had no right to interfere. But for that exact reason, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing.
He didn't loosen the steel wires restraining Dabi. Instead, he answered seriously,
"Sorry... but I can't just let you kill your own father. If you have anything to say, you can tell later."
Midoriya's voice was firm. He wouldn't let Dabi step into a path of no return. As the leader of the League of Villains, he had a responsibility to his subordinates.
"I figured as much..."
Dabi didn't struggle too much. He knew Midoriya Izuku would stop him, but he had only co here to make a statent to Endeavor.
"Don't die too soon... Todoroki Enji."
"Your life belongs to ."
Cold, heartless words from a son to his father. Once, he was Todoroki Enji's eldest son—Todoroki Touya. Now, as Dabi, all he wanted was to send his hated father to hell.
All Might and Midoriya Izuku were both feeling uneasy. One of them was Endeavor's longti rival as the No.1 hero, and the other was now the leader of the League of Villains. But beyond those identities, they were now witnessing a father and son whose hatred ran so deep that one wanted to kill the other. Fate was truly cruel.
Dabi was Todoroki Touya. He had even ruined his own face so much that Endeavor didn't recognize him. But thinking back to everything he had done to his eldest son, Endeavor could only clench his fists. There was no doubt—this was his fault.
Todoroki Shoto's burn scar... His wife's sudden change in personality... It all traced back to Endeavor. His mistreatnt of his eldest son led to Todoroki Touya running away and disappearing completely.
There was no denying it. Endeavor accepted his guilt. He was not the kind of man to run away from his sins.
"You hate ... You want to kill , don't you, Touya?"
Endeavor forced himself to stand up. Todoroki Touya, now Dabi, had beco a villain and joined the League of Villains—all because of him. His own son wanting to kill him was a punishnt he had brought upon himself. But even so—
"Then co at !"
Flas erupted from Endeavor's body, filling the air with scorching heat. Midoriya watched in surprise. He had been infected by the enhanced "Quirk Flu" virus, so he shouldn't have had much strength left!
"If you want to kill , prove it with your own power! Show that you've surpassed !!"
Endeavor roared, his flas burning hotter. The heat was so intense that Midoriya had to step back. The flas of the No.2 hero were no joke.
"Endeavor... You!"
Seeing the way Endeavor's flas were burning, All Might finally realized what he was doing.
He was using his flas to burn himself from the inside.
Heat could kill the virus, but the one inside Endeavor wasn't so easily wiped out. Yet, Endeavor was recklessly raising his body temperature like boiling water, forcing his blood to heat up and destroy the infection.
