Togata Mirio had just snuck into the League of Villains' hideout when he was startled by Magne's severed head. While All Might and Endeavor were talking about the informant, Mirio decided to search the area for any remaining evidence.
That's when he noticed a letter pinned under Magne's head. No one had paid attention to it earlier, and the dim lighting had made it hard to spot.
This was clearly a ssage left behind by the enemy. All Might imdiately picked it up and began reading.

"First of all, I'm sorry, All Might... I've caused you so much trouble.
I've heard about the future that Sir Nighteye foresaw... I don't know if it will really co true, but this ti, I have to make a choice.
All Might, you are like the sun. As the Symbol of Peace, you shine upon society, bringing hope and smiles to countless people. That's why I looked up to you and wanted to be a hero like you.
But... after everything I've been through, I've realized sothing. The brighter the sunlight, the darker the shadows it casts.
Now I understand. This world needs a sun that can light the way, but it also needs darkness that can protect people.
All Might, you are the brightest sun. Even if you retire from exhaustion, there will be other heroes to take your place... another 'sun' to follow in your footsteps.

After reading the letter, All Might and the surrounding heroes remained silent. They were completely overwheld by this boy's resolve.
As he folded the letter, All Might noticed there was more text on the back. He continued reading:
"Also... I'm sorry about what happened to Magne. Even though she regretted her actions and wanted to surrender, she had already taken too many lives and seriously injured Pixie Bob. I couldn't let her escape justice."

Midoriya Izuku had grown into soone even All Might could never have imagined. Not long ago, he was just a kid dreaming of becoming a hero. But now, he had turned into a ruthless and terrifying "enemy."
"What do we do now?"
Endeavor asked from behind, but All Might could only sigh and wave his hand helplessly. This mission was a failure from the very start.
"We head back and wait for another opportunity..."
There was no other choice. The League of Villains had caught wind of their plans early on and had already relocated. With no other options, All Might and his team had to retreat and rethink their strategy.
But there was sothing bothering All Might—how did the League of Villains find out about "Big Sis Magne's" betrayal?
Big Sis Magne had secretly reached out to him and Tsukauchi, and knowing how cautious and self-serving he was, there was no way he would be careless enough to get caught. All Might didn't believe that soone daring enough to betray All For One would be so reckless.
On top of that, both All Might and Tsukauchi had kept quiet about how they got the League of Villains' location. Not even Nighteye was told. If there hadn't been a leak on their side... then how did the enemy find out about Big Sis Magne's betrayal?

Big Sis Magne's betrayal had been hidden even from All For One. Even soone who controlled everything hadn't expected that an idiot would go and contact All Might, handing crucial intel over to the heroes.
Big Sis Magne was terrified of Midoriya Izuku. When he heard about Spinner's death, a deep fear took root in his heart. He was afraid that the League of Villains' new boss might decide one day that he was an eyesore and kill him with a single steel wire.
Seeing the horrible deaths of those who crossed the League of Villains in recent tis only made him more terrified. But leaving the League wasn't an option either. If he tried to run, Midoriya Izuku might just track him down and kill him. That left him with only one option—
Betray the League of Villains and leak their intel to All Might. The Symbol of Peace was the only one who could save him now. For the first ti in his life, Big Sis Magne truly hoped All Might would appear before him.
So, he waited for the perfect mont, passed on the League's intel, and then returned to the bar like nothing had ever happened. Everything had gone flawlessly. Even All For One and Kurogiri hadn't noticed. But then, disaster struck.
Even though All Might's team had been careful, taking extre precautions knowing that U.A. High might have All For One's spies, and even making sure Aizawa Shouta regularly visited the police station to create a false trail...
If they had just disappeared without a trace, it might have been more suspicious. If anything, All For One would have found it strange if All Might had been spending all his ti at U.A. as usual. "The Symbol of Peace, still teaching students at a ti like this? Looks like he's ready to retire!"
They had done everything they could to avoid detection. And yet... soone still noticed.

"Midoriya, does your friend want to join the League of Villains? No, wait... I an, does he want to beco an 'enemy'?"
"No. Goodbye. Get lost!!"
All For One grinned as he asked Midoriya Izuku, but Midoriya himself was annoyed and just wanted him to go away. This guy was acting like he had found a rare gem, completely delighted by the discovery.
"What a sha. If that kid beca an 'enemy,' he might build an empire even larger than mine."
"Sorry, but his dream is to be a hero!"
