Tick... tock...

The sound of a large pendulum clock echoed through the room. Midoriya Izuku slowly opened his eyes... An unfamiliar ceiling. Was this a prison cell?

...Clearly not.

Lying on the bed, Midoriya's mind was in disarray. He rembered taking Mirio-senpai's final blow and passing out completely. But where was he now?

The room was silent except for the ticking of a large clock. The space was filled with expensive-looking furniture, and the dim lighting made the layout feel oddly familiar to Midoriya.

He felt like he had been here before. The lingering pain in his stomach told him this wasn't a dream. He had sohow ended up in a troubleso place.

The door creaked open, and a man appeared in the doorway. Seeing that Midoriya Izuku was awake, he smiled and said:

"Ah, Midoriya, you're awake?"

"I know it's a bit late to say this, but welco to the 'League of Villains.'"

"...All For One."

Midoriya slowly spoke the na of the faceless man in front of him—the one responsible for his current situation. But he didn't have the energy to attack him.

He stared coldly at All For One, a man who had committed countless cris and deserved the punishnt he got from All Might, which left him without a face. Midoriya's gaze was icy.

"Just tell , why are you doing this?"

This was the only question in Midoriya Izuku's mind. Why? Why would soone like All For One target him? The incident with Kouta was just the beginning, and now with Eri, Midoriya had realized the truth: this man's real target was him.

Midoriya didn't think he had anything special that would make the most evil man in the world take notice of him. But... there was one thing.

Rembering the thing he had accidentally created—sothing that could cover an entire city—Midoriya's eyes widened in shock. Was that what this man was after?

If that was the case... All For One was truly terrifying. Did he want to destroy the world?!

Midoriya's guard went up imdiately. If that was the plan, he would rather die than let the enemy succeed.

Seeing Midoriya Izuku's increasingly wary expression, All For One tapped his head with a finger, looking a bit troubled. Even though he was the mastermind behind all this, there was no need for Midoriya to look at him like that—as if he was ready to take them both down at any mont.

.........

After an awkward silence, All For One finally spoke, his tone surprisingly calm:

"First and foremost, I suppose you want to know why I've been so interested in you, right?"

"......"

Midoriya instantly beca even more alert. All For One was montarily puzzled by his intense reaction.

But it didn't matter. He thought it would be interesting to tell Midoriya about the future Nighteye had seen. Smiling, he began:

"You know Nighteye's Quirk is 'Foresight,' right?"

"I know... What about it?!"

Midoriya Izuku was on guard, cautious and alert, but All For One simply continued speaking.

"Nighteye seed to have seen an interesting future about you."

"What!?"

Midoriya Izuku was confused, but he suddenly rembered his ti at the Nighteye Agency. Nighteye's expression had turned grim back then... Could All For One be telling the truth?

"The heroes will all fall by your hands. Togata Mirio will collapse in a pool of blood, powerless to resist. Even All Might will kneel and beg for rcy... The future Nighteye saw is sothing I find very intriguing."

"......."

All For One finished with a smile, but Midoriya Izuku's reaction was not what he expected.

Midoriya looked at All For One as if he were an idiot, then casually lay back on the bed, staring at the ceiling, completely ignoring the man standing beside him.

"Don't believe ? That's fine..."

All For One waved his hand dismissively. While Midoriya's reaction was unexpected, it was still within the realm of possibility. At least the seed of doubt had been planted. One day, he'd realize everything I said was true.

All For One turned and left the room. Midoriya Izuku glanced at him but didn't say a word. That was enough.

Midoriya believed what the man had said about the future Nighteye had seen... It was unlikely to be a lie, and Nighteye's reaction at the ti had indeed been strange. But it didn't matter.

Because the future Nighteye saw was about Midoriya Izuku himself, and it was a future he would rather die than let happen. Whether he believed it or not didn't matter.

And... at least All For One wasn't after sothing he had created. Just that thought alone made Midoriya breathe a huge sigh of relief. If sothing like that fell into the hands of the enemy, the safety of hero society—and the entire world—would be at risk.

————————————

Midoriya Izuku quietly opened the door and stepped out. Staying with the League of Villains was not what he wanted. He planned to morize the layout of this place, find a chance to escape, and contact All Might and the others to take down the League of Villains once and for all.

Outside the room was the main hall. Midoriya vaguely rembered this was the sa place he had been brought to when he was first kidnapped.

"Midoriya, it seems you've recovered."

That man's voice. Midoriya sighed, realizing his escape plan had failed. Near the window in the hall, All For One was leaning on the couch, watching Midoriya with amusent. The young man's thoughts were still too naive.

"Go ahead, tell . What's your real goal?"

Midoriya Izuku decided to lay his cards on the table today. He wanted to get to the bottom of what All For One really wanted from him.

"Purpose? Not exactly. I just have a proposal."

"A proposal?"

All For One's response puzzled Midoriya. What kind of sche was this guy planning now?

"The boss of the Shie Hassaikai, Eri's grandfather, is in a coma. You know about that, right?"

"I know..."

From the police reports and interrogating a Shie Hassaikai executive nad Nemoto Shin, Midoriya had learned that Chisaki, the scumbag who had been raised by the boss, was the one who put him in a vegetative state.

"I've taken away Chisaki's Quirk. Now, I can wake up the boss of the Shie Hassaikai."

"What are you getting at..."

Midoriya grew even more wary, but All For One remained calm.

"That little girl, Eri... the only family she can rely on now is her grandfather, right?"

"......"

Midoriya fell silent. He knew this all too well. Heroes and police couldn't take care of Eri forever. Even if the Shie Hassaikai issue was resolved, the girl's future would still be bleak. And now... this man was proposing sothing Midoriya couldn't refuse.

"What's the cost?"

"Join the League of Villains."
