"You little bastard!!"
The enraged muscle man, held back from acting freely, glared at Midoriya. Normally, he would have killed the annoying kid in front of him with a single punch. But with all-for-one's warning still fresh in his mind, he knew that harming this kid would an his own doom.
No matter. His Quirk, "Muscle Fibers," granted him overwhelming strength. Could a Quirkless brat really stand in his way? The muscle fibers surged, covering his arms as he prepared to simply shove Midoriya aside and go after the boy behind him, Kouta.
But things didn't go as planned.
Even with his imnse strength, Midoriya clung to him relentlessly. Though shoved aside, he quickly locked his legs around the muscle man's, twisting his arm around the right limb. Unless his arms or legs were broken, he refused to let go.
"It's useless! Just watch kill that brat!"
The muscle-bound man, unfazed, began dragging Midoriya along as he advanced toward Kouta. But before he could take two steps, he suddenly lost balance and crashed face-first to the ground.
"You damn brat! Is this all you've got—cheap tricks?!"
Midoriya had deliberately tripped him by tangling his feet. Though it was a simple move, it left the muscle man furious. Midoriya didn't care.
He remained silent, face-to-face with an opponent far stronger than himself. He had no weapons, no tools—only his body to rely on. Against such a powerful foe, he had no chance of victory. Yet, all-for-one's earlier words gave him a sliver of hope.
If there was one thing Midoriya could do, it was this:
*Never let go.*
No matter how ugly or desperate it looked, Midoriya resolved to stop his enemy's advance. He had to protect Kouta.
"You little pest!"
The muscle man fought the urge to kill Midoriya on the spot. He knew that landing a punch on the kid would end his own life first.
"You brat!"
He shifted his focus back to Kouta, attempting to leap forward and crush the boy. But just as he moved, Midoriya struck, landing a punch directly on his only unprotected spot—his right eye. Muscle fibers couldn't shield his eyes.
"Damn it! ARGH!!"
The muscle man roared in fury, his body swelling grotesquely as his fibers erupted outward. The massive growth broke Midoriya's hold, flinging him to the ground.
"Die!!"
Now free, the muscle man charged toward Kouta. But before he could reach the boy, Midoriya appeared in front of him again, blocking his path.
The muscle man ignored him this ti. With his fibers fully expanded, the kid couldn't use the sa clinging tactic as before. All he needed was to eliminate the brat from the Waterhouse family.
Midoriya, however, understood the situation clearly. He couldn't use the sa tricks anymore. He had to rely on sothing dirtier.
As the muscle man charged, leaving himself open, Midoriya aid carefully—and kicked.
In that instant, every man in the vicinity felt a chill run down their spines.
The muscle man stumbled a few steps before collapsing to the ground, clutching himself in agony. That part of him, unprotected by muscle fibers, had taken the full impact of Midoriya's kick.
"You... I'll kill you... you damn brat..."
The muscle man could barely form words through the pain. anwhile, Midoriya shielded Kouta behind him, watching cautiously. Even all-for-one, observing from above, seed unimpressed.
"Midoriya-kun, your actions are quite unsightly... I think you deserve so punishnt for that."
"All-for-one," Midoriya growled through clenched teeth, "If I don't kill him outright, as long as he's breathing, I'll find a way to save him. You know what that ans, don't you?"
"Y-Yes... understood..."
The muscular villain, clutching his aching midsection, struggled to stand. Glaring at Midoriya Izuku, he decided to put aside the boy from "Waterhouse" for now—he wanted to vent his pain properly.
"Kouta... find a chance to escape on your own."
"Midoriya..."
Midoriya Izuku gave Kouta a quick pat on the head as he spoke softly, trying to calm the frightened boy. Then, he turned and walked directly toward the muscular villain. The fight was about to get serious.
"You brat! You're dead at!!"
"Bring it on!"
Without another word, Midoriya Izuku and the muscular villain collided. Unlike before, this wasn't so playful skirmish—it was an all-out brawl.
Midoriya's right fist struck toward the villain's head, but the blow was blocked by the expanding fibers of his muscles. At the sa ti, the villain's left fist ca crashing toward Midoriya's chest with no rcy.
Midoriya, being quicker on his feet, leaned back in a swift arch, dodging the punch. He imdiately followed up with a ruthless kick aid at the villain's weak spot.
However, this ti, the muscular villain clamped down on Midoriya's right leg with his thighs, sneering viciously.
"You didn't think I'd fall for that trick again, did you?"
"Of course not!"
Though his leg was trapped, Midoriya used the grip as a pivot point. With a spinning motion, his left leg swung around, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the villain's head.
For an ordinary person, this kick would have caused serious injury, if not death. But the muscular villain erged unscathed. The fibers around his neck acted as a cushion, absorbing the impact.
"You're mine now, kid!"
The villain grinned nacingly as he grabbed Midoriya's left leg, tossing him high into the air before slamming him down with brutal force.
The ground cracked upon impact. Blood spurted from Midoriya's mouth, his entire body wracked with pain as if it were breaking apart.
"Be careful. If Midoriya dies, you might as well bury yourself with him," All For One warned from above.
The villain, slightly calming himself, stood up and began walking toward the terrified Kouta. He decided it was ti to deal with the kid.
But before he could take a few steps, he felt sothing grab tightly around his waist. Turning around, he saw the battered and bloodied Midoriya Izuku clinging to him desperately.
"Let go, kid!"
The villain growled, but Midoriya ignored him completely, tightening his grip. There was no way he would let the villain get near Kouta.
"You brat! I said let go!"
The villain slamd his elbow into Midoriya's back. Blood gushed from Midoriya's mouth again, yet he only held on tighter, refusing to budge.
"I won't let go! Never!"
"Damned brat!!"
The villain, enraged, decided to end this for good. He reduced his muscle fibers to avoid accidentally killing Midoriya in one punch.
"Let's see how long you can last!"
With a sadistic grin, the villain relentlessly pumled Midoriya. Blow after blow, he left him bruised, bloodied, and vomiting blood.
Yet, no matter how much pain he endured, Midoriya refused to let go. He clung tightly, determined to protect Kouta at all costs.
"You stubborn brat!!"
Even the villain was panting from exhaustion. Despite being beaten to the brink of death, Midoriya maintained his grip, as if he'd rather die than let go.
"Get off !"
Finally losing his patience, the villain grabbed Midoriya and hurled him far away, sending him crashing to the ground. Seizing the mont, Kouta scrambled to his feet and ran toward Midoriya as fast as he could.
"Mi... Midoriya..."
Looking at Midoriya Izuku, who was covered in blood, Kouta's tears kept falling as he cried out:
"Why... why go this far? Don't you care about your own life?!"
"Why...?"
Enduring the intense pain in his body, Midoriya Izuku, struggling to focus, forced a pained smile and replied to Kouta:
"Because... it's the sa as what your parents did..."
Slowly getting up from the ground, Midoriya Izuku, blocking Kouta with his own body, stared at the muscular man who was catching his breath and recovering strength.
"Your parents... 'Wothers' did the sa thing to protect others..."
"So... I have to protect you!!"
Seeing Midoriya Izuku, covered in injuries and about to fall, the muscular man spat with disgust:
"Two years ago, 'Waterhouse' didn't care about their own lives to protect strangers. If they just moved aside, I wouldn't have to kill them. Are all heroes such idiots?"
"Yes... heroes are just that kind of idiot!"
Blood continued to spill from Midoriya Izuku, but he still stood tall and answered the enemy seriously.
