Quick Transmigration: Irresistible Beauty Chapter 265: The Gentle Psychiatrist (35)
Also.
Cheng Ying sensitively captured this one word, and the emotions in his heart instantly beca a little more chaotic and complicated.
Just as the tension ran high and silent undercurrents were churning dangerously below the sea, a screaming tempest clamored for attention and crashed in to join the fun.
"Doctor Yue, I have finished my investigation!" A new voice burst forth, and a young woman in a police uniform entered the office.
Yes, as anyone would have guessed by now, the new and unexpected guest that has entered Yue Ran's office is the female protagonist, Tang ng.
Tang ng had rushed in carelessly, attracting the attention of everyone in the office. Even the staff outside could not stop her bullheaded self. Then, as if realizing that she had barged into sothing strange, Tang ng let out an awkward "oh" before her eyes suddenly t a figure that looked familiar in the office, one that had been engraved in her head for a very, very long ti.
Tang ng: !
Tang ng never thought that she could see him again! She never once thought that she would et him like this!
"Are you… Cheng Ying?!"
Cheng Ying had always hated loud noises, and Tang ng's shout almost imdiately made him feel nauseous, and the urge to vomit was rising in him.
Seeing how uncomfortable her cute little puppy was, Yue Ran could not help but issue a warning to the female protagonist.
"Miss Tang, please keep your voice down," Yue Ran said. "If your voice is too loud, Cheng Ying will feel sick and want to vomit."
Tang ng did not hear a word that Yue Ran had said to her. She was still imrsed in the shock of once again eting the young man after a long ti had passed, and thus she had absent-mindedly nodded to Yue Ran in response.
Yue Ran wanted to let out a tired sigh.
Her originally spacious office had beco crowded in an instant by these three guests, who just ca whenever they wanted to.
Why do these people co together to disturb her today? It was almost as if they had made a plan to do so, if Yue Ran did not know very well about the relationship between these three people. The three guests in her office have no relationship with one another. Well, that is, if one could exclude the fact that the female protagonist and the male protagonist knew each other in the past.
But… do they really? "Knew" is such an ambiguous word after all.
Yue Ran silently looked at this bunch of people with different expressions in her office. The atmosphere was strangely awkward for a mont.
Tang ng looked in the direction of the male protagonist, Cheng Ying, with a subtle, obscure expression. But Yue Ran could still read the slight guilt on Tang ng's face.
"Cheng Ying," Tang ng started. "How have you been these past few years? How are you? Are you doing well?"
Tang ng seed to have forgotten the purpose of coming to find Yue Ran to discuss the closed case that she had insisted on investigating. She could now only stare blankly at Cheng Ying and speak to him in a low voice.
Cheng Ying did not look at Tang ng. The young man just stood there silently, looking at Yue Ran with his arms crossed. He was frowning and looking in a bad mood.
"Cheng Ying… You... why are you ignoring ?" Tang ng asked. "Do you still bla for it? Over the years, I…"
Seeing that Cheng Ying ignored her, Tang ng took the initiative to take a step closer to him. The young woman reached out and wanted to touch the sleeve of his shirt, but the young man dodged away from her without leaving a trace.
Cheng Ying's face looked ugly, and Yue Ran knew that this was a sign of his discomfort.
Lu Yuan looked at the people in the office with amusent in his eyes before he once again focused on Yue Ran.
"Doctor Yue, since you have so many guests today, then I will not bother you anymore," Lu Yuan said. "But I believe that I can help you, so... do rember to call ." He lowered his voice while wording his words in an ambiguous manner, as if speaking a secret that only he and Yue Ran would understand. "I will always wait for you."
Lu Yuan's eyes were filled with love, and everyone with eyes and ears could see and hear his intended attitude towards Yue Ran: He would wait for the day she would reciprocate his love for her.
After saying those words, Lu Yuan brushed the nonexistent dust off his clothes, opened the door, and walked out in a suave manner.
Tang ng felt a strange feeling in her heart when she saw this. She had seen this young man on TV, or was it in magazines? Whatever it was, she knew that this young man seed to be a rich man, but she did not expect soone so important and of influence to actually be pursuing Doctor Yue.
Tang ng was not blind, and even if she tried hard to do so, she could not ignore seeing the beautiful bouquet of red roses sitting in the trash can and the fragrance of flowers that coated the office. It seed that Doctor Yue was not very interested in Lu Yuan and that the young man's affection for Yue Ran was not reciprocated.
But compared to these trivial matters, Tang ng still cared more about Cheng Ying. Unfortunately, Cheng Ying did not respond to her at all. He did not say a word to her and was even extrely resistant toward her. She did try to get closer to him, but when she took a step forward, he would imdiately pull away in disgust.
"Miss Tang, Cheng Ying is one of my patients," Yue Ran said. "Did you two perhaps know each other?"
