Damian woke up when he heard a sob. He turned on the bedside lamp and looked at Atlas. He was crying and his body was trembling slightly. Atlas looked in fear of whatever he was dreaming about.

Damian sat and shook him.

"Atlas."

He shook him warder and Atlas woke up startled. He sat and breathed, he felt like he had just run a marathon. Damian pulled him into his embrace and caressed his back.

When Atlas’s breathing beca even he pulled back and wiped his tears. Damian caressed his head.

"Are you okay?"

Atlas nodded, Damian felt his heart clench when he saw how sad he looked. He asked:

"What did you dream about?"

Whatever it is frightened him. Atlas looked at Damian and swallowed. In all their lives he never told Er-Ge what his nightmares were about. Damian said:

"If you don’t want to talk about it it’s okay."

Atlas looked down and murmured:

"I have mories of one of my previous life and I often have nightmares about it."

He looked at Damian and he asked:

"The dreams are always about that life?"

Atlas nodded.

"They are. My parents sold to a powerful man after my brother told them to. He was the devil and abused in all the ways possible. When I was pregnant he would beat until I would lose the baby. He did it two tis and the third ti I was pregnant he let keep it. He stopped the abuse so I foolishly believed that he was done with . He had stopped locking in my room and chaining to the bed and I was taken care of by the staff."

Atlas bit his lip and more tears ran down his face. Damian laced their hands and asked:

"What happened?"

Atlas said:

"It turns out that my brother had found out how powerful he was and knew that he would live well if he fell in love with him. He seduced him and the man fell in love with his purity. He completely changed and kissed the ground my brother walked on. My brother said that he would accept him if he killed . I was four months pregnant but he couldn’t care less and he ended our lives."

The reason he still has those nightmares is that he’s scared one day he’ll be in a universe where he’ll be a rmaid again. Not only was he abused but he couldn’t even swim freely.

Even if a rmaid can stay out of the water they still need to spend a considerable amount of ti in it, it would be like soone slowly pressing on your lungs until you run out of oxygen.

That universe broke him in a way he’s never been. Damian pulled Atlas into his embrace and caressed his back. Atlas held onto him feeling better than he has in a long ti.

He does feel lighter after telling Er-Ge what his nightmares are about. He wasn’t fully in their relationship so he thought that there was no need to tell him about it.

"I promise I’ll never let anything bad happen to you. Trust ."

Atlas pulled back and Damian wiped his tears. Atlas smiled.

"I trust you Er-Ge."

Damian laid down and held Atlas in his arms. Atlas held onto him and his entire body relaxed. He closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep.

When Atlas opened his eyes in the morning grey eyes were looking at him. Damian’s eyes were three shades lighter and Atlas knew he was happy. He smiled and caressed his cheek.

Damian asked:

"Did you sleep okay?"

Atlas nodded, he did because he was there.

At this point he needs him or the night is difficult. He sat up and so did Damian.

"Go shower I’ll take care of a few things then I’ll join you."

Atlas nodded and left. After sending his assistants to get everything Atlas would need Damian joined him in the shower. Atlas looked on the bed and saw that they were new clothes for him.

He dressed and left for the living room. When he entered he looked at the entry and saw two bodyguards. He looked at Damian who sitting around the table and he opened his arms.

Atlas smiled, he walked to him and sat on his lap. He filled their plate and they ate in a good mood.

"Aren’t your parent worried about you spending the night elsewhere?"

Atlas shook his head.

"They threw Elwyn’s birthday party in your hotel in case soone drank too much and couldn’t drive ho. They also wanted to suck up to you."

Damian smiled, he knows that that was why he ca too.

"Wasn’t the party for you and Elwyn?"

Atlas raised an eyebrow and asked:

"Were we at the sa party? Everything was about him. It’s fine I hate all the people who attended so I don’t mind."

Damian asked pouting:

"All the people?"

Atlas smiled, he loves it when Er-Ge acts like that because he only does it for him. He gave him a peck and said:

"All the people beside Er-Ge."

Damian smiled at his baby. He feels grateful he ca or he wouldn’t have t his mate.

Atlas asked:

"Do you care about your arrangent with Nye Gas that much?"

"It depends if I can get a better replacent."

Atlas asked:

"What if you were their replacent?"

"What do you an?"

Atlas said:

"I heard that Cian Cube would like to make more of their own ga and that you already expanded that departnt at your company."

"That’s true I want 60% of the gas in Cube to be created by Cian in the coming 3 years."

Atlas said:

"I can help you with that. I’m currently working on two projects. There are first-person shooter gas. But the second, called Universum is a virtual reality ga with a headset and a controller for each hand. It takes place in an open world. Each of them has a different the and the player will have to survive using a weapon. If it’s in the ancient era he’ll have a sword, a future era a blaster, and so on. I will be able to do the coding to turn the Cian Cube into a virtual portal to use once they have the headset on. I thought that in a few months after selling the ga we could sell a modified headset with the controllers so the players will be able to play any ga created by Cian Cube as a VR ga as well. The player will have to pay a monthly fee besides the price of the headset to be able to play any ga in VR. What do you think?"

Damian looked at Atlas stunned. He knew he was a genius in video gas since all the gas he sells on Cian Cube were created by him but he even created a headset to play in VR.

A lot of companies are working on it but no one has been able to do it successfully. But Atlas did and he can even turn the gas made by his company into VR.

He asked:

"How far along are you?"

"I only need a couple of weeks to make so modifications on Universum but I’m already done designing the headset and controllers. I have the plans they only need to be made."

Damian asked:

"Have you licensed the gas under Nye Gas?"

"I haven’t. I worked on the gas during my free ti and I paid for everything so they have no ground on it. In a week it will be licensed under the na Atlas."

Damian asked:

"Why?"

"Because if I would’ve licensed it under Atlas Nye they would’ve found a way to get their greedy paws on it."

Damian nodded, he caressed his baby’s cheek. He can tell that Ludek and Mircea only kept Atlas because of what he brings to the company. He asked:

"Do you bla ?"

Atlas shook his head.

"I’m grateful to you. If you hadn’t given them an ultimatum I would still believe that they care about and not what I bring to the company."

Damian hugged him, he doesn’t want Atlas to hate or resent him. He can tell he doesn’t and he feels better. Atlas pulled back and asked:

"Would you be okay to only work with ?"

Damian nodded with a smile. Atlas said:

"Don’t agree until you know what it entails. Once the gas are ready to be sold I want you to end your contract with Nye gas and take down all their gas from the Cube. I wouldn’t mind my gas being comrcialized under Cian but I want full control and the creation from start to finish. In the three years as you hope 60% of the gas will be Cian’s since I’ll work there and create new gas after I put in place a team. It’s a lot so take a few days and let know."

Damian asked:

"If I were to say no what would you do?"

"I have enough money to build my own company so that’s what I would do but I’d prefer to work with you."

Damian smiled, he kissed Atlas and said:

"I’m in."

Atlas smiled and hugged his Er-Ge.

He’ll show them that they made the biggest mistake in the world by letting soone who knows nothing about the field run the company he slaved off for. Without them, Nye Gas wouldn’t be where it is.

Ludek and Mircea expect him to be okay with Elwyn being the president while he does all the work for him and let him take credit. Over his dead body.
