“What are you trying to do? Are you going to rob a pregnant woman?” the woman said. She was wary of Ning Shu and Wen Xing, as she had heard that the city hadn’t fully regained order. Why was it taking her husband so long to park? Why wasn’t he here yet?

Ning Shu smiled and said, “Can I help you inside? It must be hard for you to walk, considering how big your belly already is.”

The pregnant woman looked at Ning Shu in suspicion, shook her head, and walked around her. “No need.”

She didn’t know these people and didn’t trust their intentions.

Ning Shu and Wen Xing followed the pregnant woman. They thought that the monster in the woman’s body would certainly be detected during the checkup.
