Ning Shu let out a cold laugh when she heard Gong Rong say he wanted to drive the boat. Did he think she hadn’t noticed all those gun barrels aid right at her?

She still needed Gong Rong lying on top of her to act as a human shield—to take the bullets for her.

Gong Rong was puzzled. “If you won’t let drive, how’s the boat supposed to go?”

“No need to trouble yourself, Young Master Gong.”

Ning Shu released a powerful burst of invisible energy. It surged into the water, sank to the bottom of the boat, and pushed the little yacht forward.

“We’re moving, we’re moving!” the tanned girl exclaid excitedly. However, she was clever and didn’t stand up—instead, she lay low in the cabin.

Calling this boat a ‘yacht’ was generous. It really was just a tiny motorboat, the kind used for surfing. It had no cabin rooms, not even a canopy.

“This is insane,” Gong Rong muttered. He felt like he was dreaming. Otherwise, how could sothing this absurd be happening? No one was steering, yet the damn boat was cruising along on its own, and not even slowly.

This was unbelievable.

Ning Shu reached out and grabbed Gong Rong’s head of beautiful long hair, then yanked it back hard. Gong Rong let out a hiss of pain as he was forced to tilt his head up.

“Get the hell off ,” Ning Shu said coldly.

Gong Rong might’ve looked skinny, but he was heavy as hell. He probably had dense bones.

Gong Rong, whose hair had been yanked so harshly, winced and said, “Let go first, I’ll get up once you let go.”

Ning Shu released her grip, and Gong Rong climbed off her.

“Drive the boat,” Ning Shu ordered while pressing a knife to Gong Rong’s waist.

“My poor kidney,” Gong Rong gritted out through his teeth. “Be careful! My kidney’s down there, you know that’s the most important part of a man’s body?”

Ning Shu: Excuse ?

“Isn’t the most important part a guy’s little buddy?”

“Without kidneys, the little guy can’t even stand up,” Gong Rong replied. He flipped his hair and crawled forward to take the helm.

The tanned girl sat there, dumbfounded by the conversation between Ning Shu and Gong Rong. She really didn’t get the innuendo.

Gong Rong started the boat, and Ning Shu stood right behind him. She kept the small knife pressed to his waist.

The boat sped up quickly, leaving the massive cruise ship behind as nothing but a tiny black speck on the horizon.

“Hey, girl, could you not hold the knife against like that?” Gong Rong said helplessly. “If a wave hits and the boat rocks, that thing might go right into .”

Ning Shu chuckled coldly. “Actually, I’d love to stab hole after hole into you and watch the blood gush out like a spring.”

Gong Rong was silent for a mont, then said, “Nice idea.”

Ning Shu kept a close eye on how Gong Rong operated the boat. She quietly morized every detail.

“Stop,” she said. Gong Rong didn’t. So Ning Shu stabbed the knife into his flesh. “I said stop.”

Only then did Gong Rong stop the boat. He reached down to touch his waist, and when he pulled his hand back, it was stained with blood.

“Didn’t I tell you not to stab my kidney?” he said angrily.

“Whether you’ve got kidneys or not doesn’t really matter, does it?” Ning Shu said. She settled into the pilot seat. She patted her thigh and said to Gong Rong, “Sit here.”

Gong Rong looked confused. “On your lap?”

“Hurry up. Sit down. I don’t trust you. If you’re sitting in front of , you won’t dare try anything.”

What Ning Shu feared most was Gong Rong retaliating or even jumping into the sea while she was driving. Then, she’d lose her leverage.

Gong Rong: …

“n and won shouldn’t have physical contact.”

“Do you even count as a man? If you want to throw this knife straight through your throat, go ahead and stay standing.” Ning Shu raised the knife. She was ready to hurl it at him.

Gong Rong had no choice but to sit down on her lap.

“You’re so heavy,” Ning Shu muttered darkly.
