Damien gave a slight smile. "Miss Morgan, I never imagined our connection was so strong that we’d et again."
Sophia stood up. "Mr. Brown, I never got a chance to thank you last ti before you disappeared. How did you end up here?"
"My grandfather passed away last year, so I ca to visit his grave."
"I see."
"Miss Morgan, it’s quite a coincidence running into you here. How about... we go down the mountain together?"
Sophia hadn’t had a chance to thank him yet, but she glanced at the cold, silent photo on the gravestone and smiled faintly.

She turned, gesturing for him to go ahead.
After they reached the base of the mountain, Sophia spoke up. "Mr. Brown, I still haven’t had a chance to thank you. Would you do the honor of joining for a cup of coffee?"
Damien looked at his watch and raised his hand. "It’s getting late, and I have sothing important to attend to. Coffee will have to wait for another ti. If there’s an opportunity, Miss Morgan, I’ll gladly accept your invitation next ti."
Sophia, seeing the situation, didn’t press him further and politely nodded. "Alright, Mr. Brown. I hope we et again."
What Sophia didn’t know was that, as she turned to leave, Damien watched her retreating figure with a look of intrigue in his eyes.

The two of them walked in opposite directions, growing farther apart.
Sophia changed into a set of workout clothes and applied bold lipstick.
She stared at the towering building ahead and walked inside without a second thought.
"Hello, I’m here to see Mr. Hill."
"Hello, miss. Do you have an appointnt?"
"No appointnt, but just tell him it’s Sophia Morgan coming to visit. He’ll agree," Sophia said, lifting her chin and revealing her face.
The receptionist politely responded, "Miss Morgan, please wait a mont."
She dialed the internal line. "Mr. Hill, Miss Sophia Morgan is here to see you. Should we let her up?"
"Sophia? Yes! Yes, bring her up right away!"
The receptionist hung up the phone and guided her to the elevator.
Soon, Sophia was face-to-face with the mastermind behind the variety show, Stars & Soil, Gavin Hill.
"Miss Morgan, it’s really you!"
"Mr. Hill, hello."
Sophia sat down as Gavin, looking slightly excited, kept stealing glances at her face.
"Mr. Hill, do I have sothing on my face?"
"Of course not! I... I’m just surprised, Miss Morgan, that you’re here. My company is truly honored!"
Sophia eyed Gavin suspiciously. There was sothing off about him—he seed a bit too eager, almost like he was overly attentive to her.
But she didn’t think too much of it, smiling and getting straight to the point. "Mr. Hill, I’m here about your recent variety show."
"Variety show? You an Stars & Soil?"
"Yes."
Gavin looked puzzled. "Miss Morgan, could you explain in more detail?"
"I just want to ask about Olivia on the show. I want to know who’s been handling the connection between you and her?"
"Noah. He’s both the director and her manager. Right now, Noah is Olivia’s manager."
Sophia had planned to offer so information in exchange for details, but before she could speak, Gavin freely provided the answer.
Noah was well-known in the industry, so she recognized the na.
Sophia took out her phone. "Do you know him?"
"This is Mr. Aiden, right? Oh, now I rember, Olivia ca with him, and she didn’t even require an appearance fee to join the show."
"No appearance fee?" Sophia couldn’t help but laugh. "This is business confidential information, and Mr. Hill, you’re actually sharing it with ?"
"Miss Morgan, actually... I’m your fan!"
"I’ve liked you for a long ti, and I’ve watched every one of your competition entries. I can even pick out your work in any of the paintings!"
"I really admire you. I bought the clothing you designed before, though they were a bit expensive, and since they were custom-made, I only have one set."
"Miss Morgan, may I... take a photo with you?"
Sophia was surprised.
She had been wondering why this person had shared so many personal details with her, and now it made sense. It was because he was her fan.
This explained why Gavin had been so polite to her.
She nodded, agreeing to the photo without hesitation.
"So, you really like my work, Mr. Hill. If there’s ever an opportunity, I’d be happy to gift you a custom suit. As for Olivia, Mr. Hill, I hope you understand..."
"I understand, of course! I know exactly what Aiden and the others are trying to do. It’s nothing new to ; they’re just trying to promote a new star. Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on her!"
Sophia suddenly had an idea. "About Stars & Soil, I’ve been following it. If I wanted to suggest a surprise guest for the show, would it affect the show’s overall vibe?"
She had a few male talents under her managent and hadn’t yet found the right opportunity for them. If possible, this could be their chance!
Sophia left with a light heart.
After she left, a Porsche followed closely behind her.
Ethan frowned. He never expected Sophia to have such an impressive background!
He was trying to win Olivia back, just as his grandfather had instructed. But...
Sophia... if he couldn’t have her, then why not destroy her?
"Sophia, you brought this on yourself. Don’t bla later!"
Sophia, noticing she was being followed in her rearview mirror, couldn’t help but smirk. "Little kitten and puppy, trying to play the ga of reverse psychology?"
She turned her car and started weaving through the city, with Ethan hot on her tail.
Sophia bought a lot of things, tossed them into the car, and continued driving.
She leisurely went for dessert, had so coffee, and even treated herself to a facial massage.
Afterward, when she stepped outside, she noticed the Porsche was still following her.
She had to admire his persistence.
Sophia got in her car and aimlessly drove around.
Two hours later, Ethan suddenly slamd on the brakes!
His hand slamd onto the steering wheel.
"Dammit!"
Sophia’s car had disappeared!
And he realized he had been circling around City A for several loops!
Sophia had known all along.
She was playing him!
