Capítulo 973: Chapter 563: Samsara, the Beginning_5

Xue Qing instinctively glanced at it and instantly realized what that giant stone was.

Three Lives Stone.

The images it reflected were the past lives, present lives, and… the yet-to-be-determined, full-of-possibilities future lives of all living creatures traveling on this Reincarnation Road.

The trajectory of fate, the entanglent of cause and effect, were laid bare here.

Xue Qing glanced at it lightly, then calmly averted her gaze, her eyes showing neither curiosity nor fear.

She wasn’t concerned about the glories and regrets of past lives, nor the unknowns and possibilities of future lives.

All her past experiences had turned to ashes with the burning of her body. She had struggled, fought, and persisted, but eventually let it all go.

At this mont, she felt an unprecedented tranquility and emptiness in her heart.

Her gaze finally fell upon the Little Taoist.

Eyes t.

“It’s you…”

Xue Qing was slightly surprised, recalling the face of the Little Taoist she had once seen in the Near Immortal Realm.

She didn’t expect to et again here in this manner.

The little Taoist had obviously also noticed Xue Qing’s presence, and a slight pause appeared on his calm face.

He slowly raised his hand, and without any mana fluctuations, Xue Qing felt the force around her disappear. She drifted away from the flowing souls and was summoned in front of him.

“Did my comnts back then co true?” The Little Taoist spoke, his voice calm with a worldly detachnt as he proactively brought up past events.

Upon hearing this, Xue Qing’s lips curved into a faint smile. Her gaze swept once more across the silent Reincarnation Road below, watching those souls about to forget everything and reenter the Red Dust, her mind inexplicably complex.

“Not a word was off.”

She answered softly, with no resentnt or unwillingness, only a sense of acceptance after having gone through everything.

Then, she rembered a crucial question, her face pausing slightly, turning to the Little Taoist:

“Why am I here? According to reason, after my death, should my residual soul and true spirit not return to the Vast Universe, to await a reincarnation opportunity?”

This was her understanding of the Great Universe’s reincarnation system.

The Vast Universe was a gathering place for the deceased, and the Reincarnation Road more like the ultimate path toward true rebirth.

Her way of dying seed to skip certain steps.

The Little Taoist glanced at her, with eyes that seed capable of seeing through endless reincarnations, revealing a complex expression, with a sigh and sentint.

“Your death was unusual.” He spoke slowly, “You did not fall through typical struggles or the exhaustion of lifespan.”

“Your body, in a sense, was devoured by the heavens. You made a contract with them, and were taken by an entity from the future. This transaction transcended the constraints of the Epoch’s laws, making it difficult for the laws of the Vast Universe to define your divine soul’s path; hence, you have co directly here.”

He paused, continuing to explain: “In simple terms, you no longer completely belong to this Epoch. The rules of the Vast Universe have diminished effect on you, thus, the guiding force of the Reincarnation Road directly acted on your true spirit, sending you here. I also did not expect you to have such a peculiar encounter.”

His last remark seed to imply sothing.

Not an Era Lord, yet through a transaction, she crossed the barriers of ti and space, evoked intervention from a future giant, and caused such significant historical changes.

This is rare even in the entire record of reincarnations.

Xue Qing listened quietly, her heart undisturbed.

So it was because of that Heavenly Contract, due to the intervention of the heavens, everything beca different.

“Can I now move on?”

She raised her gaze, looking toward the indistinct end of the Reincarnation Road, her mind unprecedentedly peaceful.

She had completed what should have been done, let go of her obsession with Zheng Chu, let go of her obsession with the Martial Path. Everything turned to nothing, and she beca utterly calm at heart.

Now, to reincarnate, to forget everything, seed a fitting destination.

Perhaps, after reincarnation, in an entirely new era, she could find and enjoy the grand unity of the world she had once seen with her own eyes and longed for in her heart?

A faint stir of anticipation subtly erged in the depths of her eyes.

“Not yet.”

The Little Taoist slightly shook his head, breaking her thought.

“Why?” Xue Qing’s brow furrowed slightly, and a ripple spread across the calm lake of her heart.

Having entered the Reincarnation Road, why couldn’t she move on?

“There has been an anomaly in the Reincarnation Road, so currently it cannot arrange for your reincarnation.” The Little Taoist’s expression remained indifferent.

Xue Qing was the key step connecting the vast ancient period.

Without her, there would be no Song Lingxue, and Chu Zheng alone would have no shackles, acting more recklessly. Many tis, he would not choose to bow and restrain, which would undoubtedly lead to early demise.

Death, for Chu Zheng, was not sothing to be feared, but he could not die.

Moreover, without Song Lingxue, the great tribulation in Chu Zheng’s life would be difficult to overco.

Even if he lived to the final point, Chu Zheng might even choose to die out of his own interest in the Reincarnation Road.

This was a result derived from his deductions, not impossible.

Xue Qing’s early reincarnation would also trigger a series of changes, once again leading to historical imbalance.

The result would be another wasted lifeti.

Xue Qing stared at the Little Taoist, her heart increasingly puzzled.

Anomaly?

What anomaly would specifically affect only her?

For a mont, a few conjectures arose within her, whether it was reluctance to let her reincarnate or there was another reason?
