Chapter 959: Chapter 560: A Helping Hand, The Price (Part 6)

Amidst the thunderclaps, including Yun Tianji, three Ancestral Realm figures have already t their demise in the Yellow Springs.

Three successive funeral bell tolls erupted instantly.

……

……

River of Space-Ti.

At the crest of waves that traverse ancient tis, carrying the rise and fall of countless epochs.

A procession of over ten figures, shrouded in an aura not belonging to this era, with grand spiritual presence, is arduously traversing against the flow of ti.

They are not of this world, but co from the future, standing at the pinnacle of all paths as Ancient Ancestor Level beings, their bodies flowing with Power Law subtly and distinctly different from the current Ancient Era, bearing marks of the future.

The purpose of their journey is to reverse the ti stream, heading toward the legendary Ancient Final Battle point.

Seize the mont when the Daoist Ancestor Zheng Chu, stirring the storms of ancient tis, is fiercely battling the Second-fold Immortal Martial, in his weakest state, to kill him in the past.

This plan is so bold it’s nearly insane, involving causal factors that would make any rational living creature hesitate.

But propelling them forward are the terrifying legends of Zheng Chu circulated in the future, and the twenty-five percent Heavenly Fate.

As they struggle onwards, the River of Space-Ti ahead suddenly becos incredibly turbulent and chaotic.

As if countless pieces of destroyed Star Domains were forcibly embedded into the river of ti.

The deafening sound of laws collapsing, shrill enough to penetrate space-ti barriers, along with the dirge-like sound of bells ringing in one’s soul, mixed together, form a death zone even Ancient Ancestor Divine Thought cannot penetrate.

There lies their destination, that great battle within the River of Space-Ti, its intensity far exceeding any historical record they understood from later generations.

Dazzling Immortal Light clashing madly with blood energy so fierce it could tear the Great Universe apart.

Ti and space, like toys, are ripped apart by invisible forces; cracks of laws spanning ti appear and disappear, devouring everything.

As far as the eye can see, it’s a chaos; only faintly sensing those few terrifying presences like cosmic cores madly battling within.

What chills their hearts even more are occasional drops of Ancestor Blood containing trendous life essence and eternal will, splattering out—whose Ancient Ancestor it might be, severely injured, they don’t know; penetrating the ti barrier and landing upon their protective divine light, bringing a piercing chill.

This is not a lackluster final battle from records but a death grindstone operating frantically, enough to swallow the Ancestral Realm!

“Everyone…”

The silence is broken.

The middle-aged man in the Golden Dragon Emperor Robe speaks first, his face solemn, a flicker of barely noticeable fear in his eyes, his voice deep:

“I feel… this journey is overly risky. The brutal situation ahead is beyond our intervention. I… I’ll head back first.”

Before his words finish, the middle-aged man turns decisively, surrounded by Dragon Qi, heading back toward the future in the direction they ca.

“Candle Star!”

Wrapped in Immortal Light, Feng Ting couldn’t help but speak, incredulous and slightly displeased:

“This reverse flow alliance to besiege Zheng Chu was your initiative, sworn with conviction, and now at the doorstep, you retreat in fear?”

Candle Star paused slightly but did not turn back; he waved indifferently without regard:

“The situation has changed, beyond human control. If you wish to proceed and accomplish that feat, please feel free. I must excuse myself.”

With that, he held no more nostalgia, his figure blurred, vanishing instantaneously in the downstream fog of the flowing ti, disappearing without a trace.

The remaining dozen or so future Ancient Ancestors exchanged glances, the atmosphere turning extrely awkward and heavy.

Candle Star’s retreat was like a cold splash that extinguished the fervor and luck in many hearts.

Feng Ting looked grim, glancing at his companions with varying expressions before finally turning his gaze toward a nearby spot.

Staring at the woman enveloped in ethereal moonlight, her disposition cold and exquisite, he sighed with a touch of exhaustion in his voice: “Moonlight, you witnessed the battle ahead, far beyond expectations. It seems we underestimated the might of ancient tis and overestimated ourselves. Let’s go back now, before it’s too late.”

Moonlight Immortal Ancestor frowned slightly, hesitating with so struggle. She lifted her gaze, trying to peer through the chaotic space-ti to see the battlefield’s center, but found nothing besides unsettling destructive waves.

After a mont of silence, she nodded slightly, taking the lead in heading downstream.

Nearby, Ji Zhouyin saw this and shook his head slightly, turning to several Martial Hall Ancestors, speaking solemnly:

“It cannot be done; to force it is unwise. Let’s leave.”

“A bunch of cowardly mice.”

A cold sneer erupted.

Fu Pinglan’s gaze swept over those intending to retreat, his tone full of disdain and mocking:

“Having already expended so much to reverse the flow to this point, with the target visible ahead, yet wavering and scared by re battlefield remnants? Truly laughable!”

He stepped forward among the group, heading straight ahead:

“If you wish to leave, then do so. I can go alone, even if only I remain, I can still kill Zheng Chu.”

Before his words finished, Fu Pinglan ignored the others, turning into a dark flow of light, boldly plunging into the unstable space-ti turbulence wrought by the battle ahead.

“Pinglan, don’t!” Ji Zhouyin attempted to stop him but it was too late.

As Fu Pinglan charged into the chaotic battlefield, Chu Zheng instantly sensed the space-ti ripple from the future.

His gaze penetrated the space-ti barrier, directly fixating on the tiny figure ascending the River of Space-Ti.

Fu Pinglan.

“Ignorant of life and death.”

Chu Zheng’s gaze intensified, even amidst battling nurous Ancestral Realms, he had the reserves to do so, pointing towards the River of Space-Ti, he suddenly slashed.

A stream of Chaotic Qi landed upon Fu Pinglan.

This wasn’t an attack, but a propulsion force, skillfully guiding him away from several most dangerous space-ti vortexes, forcibly altering his trajectory, precariously sending him into a more distant past.

If Chu Zheng hadn’t acted, with Fu Pinglan’s strength, attempting to cross this twisted space-ti region due to the ultimate battle, he would likely have been engulfed within it, utterly annihilated.
