Capítulo 871: Chapter 547: Cosmic Edge, Great Realm of the Universe (Ten Thousand Words) (Part 2)

Jun Huang did not touch the cup of tea brimming with spiritual energy; he cut to the chase, his voice slightly low:

“Daoist Yun, I apologize for the intrusion. I have co this ti to inquire about the matter of my sister Jun Yixue’s demise in Zangtian Palace. Do you have any mory of her?”

Upon hearing this, Yun Tianji’s smile slightly faded, revealing a hint of somberness and reminiscence.

He pondered for a mont, shaking his head with a bit of helplessness, his tone carrying genuine apology:

“I’m truly sorry, but I do not have a deep impression of your sister. The situation back then was too chaotic and brutal; all sides were fiercely battling. Preserving oneself was difficult enough, truly hard to spare attention elsewhere.”

He paused for a mont, slightly shifting his tone, and offered a most likely speculation: “However, your sister might have fallen to Xiao Dieqiu’s hand. This woman is crazed and ruthless, her strength terrifyingly unpredictable. The Half-step Emperor of the Feng Family, and many Immortal Path Cultivators, all fell to her hand. Many cultivators perished in that region by her hand.”

This conjecture is half-truth.

The truth is, many indeed died at Xiao Dieqiu’s hand back then; the falsehood is, he completely erased any traces of Zheng Chu possibly making a move.

After all, if it were Immortal Path Cultivators, in such chaotic scenes, they could very likely have been casually killed by Zheng Chu. Dying without clarity, unable to determine the suspect, is too common in Zangtian Palace. One more Jun Yixue is nothing unusual.

He has his own considerations; no need to bring unnecessary troubles to Zheng Chu.

Zheng Chu is already troubled enough; countless Ancient Ancestors have their eyes on him. Jun Huang is, after all, a Martial Ancestor disciple, sensitive in identity, noble in status, and may even succeed Martial Pavilion in the future, becoming a giant.

If he knew his sister possibly died by Zheng Chu’s hand, even if just possible, it’s hard to ensure no incident arises—better less trouble than more.

Jun Huang listened quietly, his sharp gaze fixing on Yun Tianji’s expression, seemingly trying to discern sothing.

But Yun Tianji’s deanor was calm, carrying the right amount of regret and apology, revealing no flaw.

After a mont of silence, the tense aura surrounding Jun Huang seed to slightly loosen, he slowly rose, gave a salute, his expression still grim yet more earnest: “Given these, thank Daoist Yun for informing, I shall not disturb further.”

He paused, his gaze scorching as he looked at Yun Tianji, adding:

“I have heard your relations with Zheng Chu are quite deep, should you obtain any clues or ssages about his whereabouts in future, I hope you won’t hesitate to inform. Jun will be imnsely grateful.”

He seeks Zheng Chu, naturally also for his sister’s matter, but possibly mixed with complex curiosity about this surviving figure from Zangtian Palace.

Yun Tianji’s heart stirred, yet his face was unfazed, responding with a smiling nod: “Certainly, if there’s an opportunity, I shall definitely inform.”

He escorted Jun Huang out of the Water Pavilion, watched him leave in a streak of light amidst the crowd of Martial Cultivators, his smile gradually fading, eyes flashing with complexity.

As Jun Huang just left, even before Yun Tianji returned to his desk, another invitation was respectfully handed in by an Immortal Official.

“Xue Qing…”

Upon seeing the two characters on the invitation, Yun Tianji slightly raised his eyebrows, turned and instructed his trusted attendant by his side:

“An esteed guest. Go, take out my treasured Heavenly Spirit Leaf, prepare it with Cui Guang Spring Water, and bring it here quickly.”

Upon hearing this, the attendant beside showed a look of astonishnt.

The Heavenly Spirit Leaf, a rare treasure personally bestowed by the Ancestor of the Immortal Court, each leaf contains fragnts of the Great Dao, aiding comprehension and nourishing the Immortal Soul. Throughout the Immortal Court, even Immortal Monarch Level individuals find it difficult to have a taste, hardly would Immortal Kings have ever seen it, yet it’s being used to entertain this guest? What kind of divine being is this?

The attendant dared not ask more, stifled the shock in his heart, bowed, and left swiftly.

Before long, Xue Qing, alone, stepped into the Water Pavilion, dressed in a plain white gown, her figure like a pine in the snow, her face beautifully striking, the slight scar below her eyes sowhat glaring, exuding an aura of coldness.

She gave Yun Tianji a slight bow, her voice cool: “Brother Tianji, long ti no see.”

“Miss Xue Qing, it has been a while, your grace surpasses the past.”

Yun Tianji returned the courtesy, his gaze settling on the shallow scar on her face for a mont, without saying much, his smile more genuine than when eting Jun Huang earlier, gestured:

“Please have a seat.”

This courtesy is naturally not for Xue Qing herself, but for the one behind her, now stirring the cosmos, making Ancient Ancestors restless—Zheng Chu.

In Zangtian Palace, without Zheng Chu blocking Xiao Dieqiu at the critical mont, Yun Tianji’s chance of survival was minuscule.

He has always rembered this favor.

“I know what you are here to ask.”

Once Xue Qing was seated, without waiting for her to exchange pleasantries, Yun Tianji spoke frankly, his tone sincere:

“Regarding Daoist Zheng Chu’s current situation, specific whereabouts, I know nothing as well, completely unable to contact him. Since Zangtian Palace closed, he has vanished from the mortal world, without any news. I am truly sorry to have let you co for nothing.”

What he said was mostly true; Xue Qing and he are less than distant; her sole purpose here can only be to gather news about Zheng Chu.

Upon hearing this, a fleeting trace of disappointnt seed to pass in Xue Qing’s eyes, but she quickly resud her usual self. She did not imdiately rise but reached for the cup of spiritual tea before her, swirling with extraordinary Dao charm, took a sip.
