Chapter 835: Chapter 537: The Unfairness of the Heavenly Dao (Part 3)

“Stop!”

Feng Zimo’s desperate thoughts roared and howled in the wind, but at this mont, he had beco a part of the Gang Feng, unable even to approach Chu Zheng. As soon as he touched the Dark Gold Domain, his Wind Spirit Origin dissipated and disintegrated rapidly, and he could only watch helplessly as Chu Zheng’s figure broke through the layers of Gang Feng and instantly fled far away.

The two True Immortals in flight looked back and saw Chu Zheng rapidly approaching them. Instantly, they were scared out of their wits, pushing their speed to the maximum, even resorting to burning their Immortal Blood to seek greater speed.

However, to their despair, this starry sky had been completely sealed off by the peerless Immortal Array they themselves had set up.

What was originally a cage to prevent Chu Zheng from escaping had now beco their own place of doom, a self-dug grave, making it utterly impossible to rip apart space and flee far away.

With the cultivation of a Nine Tribulations True Immortal, if in the vast outer space, with a single-minded focus on escaping, it wouldn’t be hard to flee to safety.

But here, there was nowhere to run.

In the blink of an eye, Chu Zheng had already caught up from behind.

“Stop!”

The Gang Feng that Feng Zimo had beco let out a series of shrill wails, yet could only watch helplessly as Chu Zheng raised his hand nonchalantly, pressing down two palms in the air towards the fleeing figures ahead.

Bang! Bang!

With two dull thuds, the Protective Immortal Light of the two True Immortals shattered like bubbles, and their bodies were crushed into a bright, bloody mist, with their Divine Souls completely annihilated.

Feng Zimo froze in place, the Gang Feng he had ford trembling violently, flickering as if it could dissolve at any mont.

A great void and despair engulfed his thoughts.

As Chu Zheng slowly turned around and walked towards him step by step, a bitter laugh emanated from the Gang Feng inherent in Feng Zimo, condensing into his blurred visage:

“I was not defeated by your hand… This is the unfairness of the Heavenly Dao!!”

He died with his eyes open!

A normal cultivator, no matter how extraordinary their talent, even with ample resources, can hardly achieve such a heaven-defying, beyond-reason cultivation progress in a single year.

This was not sothing that effort or talent could explain! It was a decree of heaven’s demise! It was the unfairness of Heavenly Fate!

“Heavenly Dao is indeed unfair.”

Chu Zheng’s steps were unhurried, his voice calm yet imbued with a detached indifference overlooking all beings: “The Ancient Clan Family, upholding Heavenly Fate, have usurped the heavenly seats, already receiving too much favor from this world, yet clearly, your kind remains insatiable, greedy.”

He nodded, recognizing Feng Zimo’s dying grievance, but with an entirely different perspective:

“Heaven has already perished, Heavenly Fate is scattered. My purpose here is to reclaim the dispersed Heaven’s Mandate, to redefine order.”

He stood before the imminent dissipation of the Gang Feng, his gaze seemingly able to penetrate what remained of Feng Zimo’s consciousness:

“When the next life cos, if there is a chance, I will give you a relative justice.”

He said no more, raising his hand directly, a dark gold light flashing at his fingertips, lightly tapping into the core of the tempestuous Gang Feng.

With a sigh from what remained of Feng Zimo’s consciousness, it finally dissolved completely into oblivion.

The previously rampant azure Gang Feng also cald and scattered, turning into the most primordial breeze, drifting across the cold starry sky.

Regarding the so-called Ancient Clan Family, Chu Zheng held no great hatred or resentnt. From his current height, all beings essentially appeared no different to him. He could even completely comprehend Feng Zimo’s and the Immortal Path cultivators’ fear and resolve to eliminate the immortal-banishing rune.

This was the Dao battle, a fundantal opposition of paths, a reshuffling of cosmic rules.

In such a struggle, there were no rights or wrongs based on personal grudges, only a survival where one lives, and the other dies.

After slaying Feng Zimo, Chu Zheng waved a hand, a virtual grasp pulling in five orbs containing imnse energy and partial Law Enlightennt from the void, absorbing them into his hand.

Even if only the most refined Yuan Qi could be absorbed, the five Nine Tribulations True Immortals provided a rare nourishnt, enough to advance his cultivation further.

……

……

At the mont of Feng Zimo’s death, there was a disturbance in the distant starry sky.

Within the core hall of the well-preserved Broken Realm occupied by the Feng Family.

Feng Tingyun, who had been quietly ditating and sensing the Tianji, suddenly shuddered, opening her eyes slowly.

With a light wave of her hand, five Jade Tokens appeared in the void before her, almost simultaneously, with a cracking sound, shattering one after another into dust.

These were the soul tokens representing the life and soul of Feng Zimo and the other four Nine Tribulations True Immortals. The shattering of the soul tokens signified their death and disappearance from this world.

On Feng Tingyun’s stunning countenance, a trace of doubt appeared, her icy gaze fluctuating violently for the first ti with incredulous fear and gravity.

Five Perfect Ninth Tribulation True Immortals perished unexpectedly, without even a trace of warning or a cry for help sent back!

This far exceeded the realm of accidental misfortune or encountering a formidable enemy, indicating that they faced an overwhelming force, nearly being slaughtered effortlessly.

The actor, at least a dozen or more Perfect Eighth Order beings were involved, perhaps even a Half-step Emperor had intervened.

This place was no longer safe.

She imdiately stood up, her voice still cold but carrying a trace of urgency, spreading across the hall:

“Go.”

Without further explanation, but all Feng True Immortals in the hall, seeing the dust from the shattered Jade Tokens, and the unprecedented seriousness on Feng Tingyun’s face, instantly understood the gravity of the situation, a chill rising from the depths of their hearts.

“Where should we go?” a Nine Tribulations True Immortal voiced the question.

Even in departure, a destination was needed. With so many people, wandering together in the Heaven Burial Palace would make them too conspicuous, easily targeted by the combined force of other Ancient Clans.

Upon hearing this, Feng Tingyun didn’t hesitate at all, waved her hand to put away the Star Map, her figure transforming into a breeze, the first to move outside the hall:

“Seek aid from the Xu Family, and after a while, send people to the battlefield to assess the situation.”

In the absence of clarity on the opponent’s strength, only by gathering the forces of two major Ancient Clans could they establish a foothold in this now extrely dangerous Heaven Burial Palace, then gradually investigate the specific encounter faced by Feng Zimo and others.
