Chapter 500: Chapter 340: Attack Where They Must Rescue, Set an Ambush to Annihilate Reinforcents

The broken Star Ring slowly rotated in the vast and boundless universe, casting glaze-like starlight reflections, with the remnants of countless Stars emitting a weird blood light, perated with an ominous and deadly silence.

On the far side of the starry vault, a surge of crimson blood waves was vaguely visible, reaching clearly to the gap in the Boundary near Heaven and Earth, from where innurable dark blue battleboats erged, carrying an uncountable number of powerful living creatures.

The mont the Boundary shattered, it was destined that the peace the starry sky had enjoyed for millennia was to be broken, with little chance of returning to tranquility.

The Boundary was established back then by the Ancestral Dao together with the Ancestor of Ancient Immortals and the Ancient Martial Ancestor.

At that ti, both Immortal Martial Arts and the Ancestral Dao were at their peak, rivaling each other, along with the Ancestral Dao, nearly nine-tenths of the Heavenly Fate of the Great Universe was gathered to forge the Boundary, stabilizing the Yin Yang frontier, and shielding the Vast Universe from disaster at the Cosmic Edge.

With the current power structure of the Great Universe, it’s simply impossible for anyone to repair the Boundary. The difference in power is too vast, far from sufficient.

Not far from the main battlefield, in the void shrouded by layer upon layer of Arrays, a teor was completely concealed.

Atop the teor, on a rugged mountain path, two figures sat opposite each other across a stone table. One draped in Gold-plated Immortal Armor, with an upright posture, while the other was cloaked in black robes, with a clear and handso face.

On the table, the stove burned low, brewing a pot of Spiritual Tea.

Suddenly, the figure clad in Gold-plated Battle Armor took the lead in breaking the silence:

“Truly, you have so nerve. In the current state of affairs, you still dare to et , even taking the ti to brew tea with here.”

Looking at the man sitting across from him, Fan Long’s mouth curled slightly:

“Shang Cangyun, you really aren’t afraid of death.”

“I’ve already died once.”

Unconcerned, Shang Cangyun gestured with his hand:

“This is Spiritual Tea from the Vast Universe, a delicacy that the Great Universe can’t taste.”

Glancing at the cup brimming with sinister energy, Fan Long fell silent for a while before finally speaking:

“If you still have so regard for our past camaraderie, I want to hear the truth.”

Shang Cangyun was noncommittal, picked up the teacup, sipped a little Spiritual Tea, and nodded, “Ask.”

“Whom are you following? Can this path of the Vast Universe really lead anywhere?”

Fan Long’s breath paused, his gaze intently fixed on Shang Cangyun’s face, not willing to miss any detail.

Within the Immortal Alliance, there had always been soone secretly protecting Shang Cangyun as well as Zhao Tingxian, and many high-ranking mbers of the Immortal Alliance were aware of this.

The only ones capable of such feats were the Immortal Ancestor and the three leaders – one chief and two deputies.

“As I’m still on the path myself, how could I possibly tell you whether or not it can be traversed?”

After speaking, Shang Cangyun set down his teacup and gestured toward the distant starry sky.

Fan Long followed his gaze, and a vast Silver Moon ca into view, its hazy light shimring.

“I see.”

Fan Long’s expression beca enlightened, giving a cupped fist salute, “Thank you for telling .”

The true nas of those in the Ancestral Realm are not to be ntioned; these hints were sufficient.

“I walk this path because I must, and you should focus on walking yours.”

Shang Cangyun shook his head slightly, his expression sowhat forlorn:

“If it weren’t for the Ancestor of Ancient Immortals cutting off the eternally ancient Immortal path near the Immortal Realm because of the Ancestral Dao, personally ending this Great Realm, I wouldn’t have to walk such a path. Fan Long, you’ve never tasted the bitterness of being a displaced dog; it’s an unpleasant feeling.”

Fan Long was about to speak when the Heavenly Judgnt Order at his waist suddenly lit up.

Seeing the Heavenly Judgnt Order on Fan Long’s waist, Shang Cangyun subconsciously rubbed the teacup, his eyes filled with a surge of thoughts.

Fan Long glanced at the ssage emanating from the order and frowned slightly.

Chu Zheng seeking help?

After the ssage for help appeared, the Heavenly Judgnt Order fell back into silence for a long ti without a response.

Fan Long was not surprised by this.

All True Immortals of the Punishnt Authority were aware of who Chu Zheng was.

He was a Qi Cultivator.

When a Qi Cultivator encounters danger, it is often a sign that they have triggered their own tribulations.

To take on calamities and avoid disaster on behalf of a Heavenly Immortal whose cultivation is substantial, is not sothing even an average True Immortal, let alone an Immortal King, could necessarily withstand.

To avert disaster for that Mysterious Immortal in the past, the Immortal Alliance lost thirteen Great Thousand Worlds, two Immortal Emperors died, and countless True Immortals perished.

With such a bloody lesson at hand, how could these True Immortals of the Punishnt Authority dare to rescue, or be willing to rescue?

Moreover, it is currently the ti of the Vast Universe’s invasion, where a single misstep could lead to a cascade of consequences, potentially affecting the entire battle situation.

The gravity of such an outco, compared with the life and death of a Three Calamities True Immortal, is unmistakenly clear which is lighter and which is heavier.

“What has happened?”

Seeing that Fan Long remained silent for a long ti, Shang Cangyun was sowhat puzzled.

“Soone is asking for help. People from the Martial Hall are causing trouble outside, and upon a rough look, it seems they are trying to stir up so issues.”

At this point, Fan Long hesitated for a mont but still added:

“The one asking for help is Chu Zheng.”

“Chu Zheng?”

Upon hearing this, Shang Cangyun’s eyebrows rose slightly and he stood up imdiately: “Where is he now?”

“Think carefully about taking on calamities for a Qi Cultivator.” Fan Long’s brows furrowed slightly:

“You yourself are already embroiled in trouble, why cause unnecessary problems? The Immortal Ancestor has already acquiesced—their fates are their own. Now that the Ancestor of Ancient Immortals has died, with rely the cultivation of a Heavenly Immortal, how much could he help you in the future?”

Shang Cangyun waved his hand, concise in his words: “Coordinates.”

“The Martial Hall wouldn’t rely send a few children at the Saint Realm. They are probably not truthful to their intentions, wanting to lure a bigger fish into the net.”

Fan Long raised his hand and handed out coordinates, speaking gravely:

“I have said all there is to say, be careful on your own.”

Before the sound of his voice faded, Shang Cangyun’s figure had already vanished, leaving behind an echo that had not yet dispersed:

“I would actually like to see what kind of net these brutes of the Martial Path can weave to capture , Shang Cangyun.”

Fan Long remained silent, looking down at the teacup with an undercurrent of dark energy nearby, he picked it up and drank it all at once.

Below the starry sky do, the luminescence of the five-colored glaze scattered remnants of the stars in all directions.

A Dharma Phase surrounded by Immortal Light rolled across the sky, with its giant mace continuously slashing down, sweeping across space, and the luminous ripples dispersed turned a vast number of star remnants into ash.

Bloodlight intertwined around Gong Jun’s body. He didn’t take the initiative to strike, constantly maneuvering under the giant mace. Where blood fog t Immortal Light, a dazzling divine brilliance was sketched.

“There are more than just three of you from the Martial Hall.”

Chu Zheng halted, his Dharma Phase’s pupils seed to be burning with fierce fire, and the Immortal power in his limbs and body was already boiling over.

Gong Jun’s gaze lingered on the Monitoring Jade Order far too many tis, making it hard for Chu Zheng to ignore.

“Attack where they must save, setting traps to annihilate reinforcents, an old trick used over the years.”

Blood clouds surrounded Gong Jun, he did not deny it, and after circling and delaying with Chu Zheng for so long, he too was losing patience, his tone growing heavy:

“Now it seems that you are of no importance to the Immortal Alliance, no longer able to serve as bait.”

“Is that so?”

The green-faced and ferocious Dharma Phase suddenly curled the corners of its mouth into a slight smile:

“The Martial Hall may not have interacted with a Qi Cultivator before. I know my own fate, today my life should not end.”
