''The guest is always right. Haven't you heard?'' she folded her arms and looked at Paula arrogantly. She had been waiting for an opportunity to put Paula in her place after the caf incident but never got the chance. Last night, she had overheard her sister's conversation with Andy and found out that Paula was employed as the restaurant's nutritionist. She knew going head on with Paula would result in her getting ban from the hotel by her sister, so she had co in hopes of finding fault with her but it turned out she didn't have to do anything because she wasn't the only one who hated Paula.
While sitting down, she had seen the woman co in and had heard her talk earlier on. The woman was specifically here to create trouble for Paula. After listening in, she found out that a woman nad Amara had sent the woman to co to the hotel to created trouble for Paula.
Betty smirked then, she didn't have to do anything. Soone was already here to do what she ca to do so it was best to stand on the side lines and watch the drama unfold.
She was happy when it seed like the woman was having an upper hand, but then, Paula had dropped a bomb making the woman flustered. Betty felt that she needed to intervene and stop Paula from taking things far.
''The guest is always right, but there is also another saying that, being polite to all manner of persons is a virtue'' Paula said to Betty.
''What is going on here?'' Andy asked from behind and everyone turned to look at him. Betty imdiately scurried over and hocked her arm around Andy's arm and said to him.
''Andy, it's good that you are here. The guest seed to be dissatisfied with the service provided by the F and B team but instead of apologising, Paula was making things worse by insulting the guest''
Paula closed her eyes and massaged her head before opening her eyes. She t Andy's deep penetrating gaze and her heart skipped a beat but not because she was having feelings for him. Her heart skipped because she didn't know what he was going to say. She didn't know whether he was going to support her or not. this was after all his hotel, he as the manager had to take care of the situation fairly.
Andy turned his eyes away and looked at the woman, ''I heard you weren't satisfied with our hotel's services?'' he asked the woman.
''You must be the boss here, right?'' the woman asked proudly.
''Yes, I am. May I know what the problem is?''
''Well, it wouldn't have beco such a big problem if the nutritionist had apologised but instead of doing that, she insulted . now, apart from being dissatisfied with the food, I've been stressed ntally. How are you going to handle that?'' the woman asked.
''She will be fired for sure. The hotel doesn't need trouble causers here'' Betty said and looked at Paula with a smirk.
''Everything won't end with just firing her. but, if she were to get on her knees and beg , I might let it go'' the woman said and looked ahead at Amara who also had a smirk on.
Paula's gaze followed the woman and she saw their little exchange. Her lips curved up into a mocking smile as she looked at the woman and asked, 'you want to apologise, for what? I don't want to''
''What?'' the woman asked in an unbelievable tone.
''Manager, do you see the kind of behaviour she is portraying in front of you. everyone has seen that, right? She even dares to defile the manager's authority. Don't tell you two are sleeping together? Is that why she can boldly refuse to respect you in this situation? Whoa, young ladies are quite bold nowadays''
The woman said and chuckled before turning to look at Andy who still had a calm composure on. He simply looked at the woman and used his hand to beckon on the F and B manager.
''Get a calculator''
''Here it is, boss'' the manager said with shaky hands. He knew clearly what was going to happen next. This woman had just dug her own grave with her own hands and mouth.
''How much is the food she ordered?'' Andy asked and the woman smiled. She thought she was going to be compensated.
''$150 dollars''
''She ordered the sa dish four tis, right?''
''That will be $600 dollars'' the manager did the calculation quickly.
''$600 dollars. How much is the average salary of the workers here?''
''The janitor gets paid $500 dollars a month and the waiter gets paid $600 dollars. All this excluding the monthly and annual paid leave bonuses''
''That much? The woman exclaid and covered her mouth.
''You bought food for just $150 dollars but wasted $600 dollars. Money that that could have gone into catering for soone for a whole month. You insulted my nutritionist who has received a lot of recomndations from famous places for her work. You defad and dared to spout nonsense about whom you have never t before, just because you ordered for a $150-dollar food that you bought haven't even paid yet. I wonder just how I am going to handle you?''
Paula looked at Andy and realised that he had the sa look on his face. The look he had last night when he was asking her where the man had touched her. It was calm but there was darkness hidden inside them. Paula lifted her fingers and brushed his hand slightly and he turned to look at her. she smiled and he seed to have cald down as his face relaxed
''I'' the woman's face turned crimson as she stuttered. She realised, he wasn't going to compensate her but make her pay.
''Andy, what are you doing?'' Betty asked and Andy's mind ca to their hands that were circled together.
''You don't ever co to this place again'' he said casually to Betty and she gasped.
''Andy''
''You heard him. Get out of this place right now'' Godiva said behind them and Betty stepped back.
''You will hear from my lawyer. I am going to sue you until you have nothing left on you. Then you will understand how it feels to have nothing at all''
''No, you can't do this to . I just did what I was asked to do'' the woman said and pointed at Amara, 'it's the two of them. they contacted and asked to co here and cause trouble for this woman. I don't even know her from anywhere. I don't know anyone here, I was rely here because those two contacted online and paid to co here. The food was going to be paid by them too, I have the evidence'' the woman started confessing.
Looking at how the situation was unfolding, Amara and Ama suddenly took off but as they turned to run, Alex looked the door and stuffed the keys into his pocket and said to them, ''Miss Paula wasn't the only one who suffered. I had to waste ingredients and make food that soone didn't appreciated. That too, four tis. The waiter had to be insulted for sothing she knew nothing about and Miss Paula was just maligned here right now. How are you going to compensate us for the emotional and ntal stress you put us through?''
''She is the one who introduced to the woman. I was mad at Miss Paula but I hadn't intended to take it this far. Ama convinced . She told that as long as Miss Paula was out, I would be made the nutritionist. She planted the seed in ''

I only showed you the quicker way to make her leave'' Ama said and everyone gasped.
Everyone had a look of shock as they watched them disclose their affairs. As the argunt between Amara and Ama got intense, the woman thought she could use that chance to escape but as she took a step, Paula stepped in the way and said to her.
''Apologise to , the waiter and also to him. You didn't even know anything yet you ca to spout nonsense''
''There is no need for her to apologise. She is going to be compensating everyone she insulted here after all'' Andy said and took Paula's hand adding, ''also, whatever kind of relationship I have with this woman is our business. Just know that if you ever try to get into her bad books, you will be the one to suffer the consequences. That is how important she is to '' he finished and walked out, pulling Paula along as everyone gasped.
