What a pity.

Although the Mixed Elent Skill is strong, it does not contain the thods of ’breaking the limit of Qi and Blood’ or ’Qi Blood Refining’. This ’Mixed Elent Skill’ didn’t co out of thin air but was deduced by Yan Chuan through learning and accumulation; all its content is what Yan Chuan has either actively or passively understood and mastered.

Yan Chuan doesn’t know the thods of ’breaking the limit of Qi and Blood’ or ’Qi Blood Refining’, so naturally, the ’Mixed Elent Skill’ doesn’t include them.

"Martial arts cultivation, different paths lead to the sa destination."

"Perhaps."

"When I cultivate the ’Mixed Elent Skill’ to a profound realm, and my inner strength accumulates more abundantly, nourishing the flesh and driving the growth of Qi and Blood, I may naturally break the limit."

It’s not impossible!

However, compared to actively ’breaking the limit’ and actively ’refining’ after mastering the thod, this blind hard work is inevitably passive, and it’s unknown when it will end.

"To make progress in martial arts, one cannot wait, cannot rely, cannot ask!"

"One must strive!"

"Martial arts progress is fought for, not given from the sky!"

Yan Chuan is enlightened.

He has ’Mutual Teaching and Learning’, perhaps there is no need to find any thod, he just needs to guide more natives of the Mountain and Sea Realm, from whom he can obtain the corresponding thods.

And all this begins with the young man practicing the ’Eagle Claw Continuous Fist’!

...

That night.

Yan Chen tossed and turned, unable to sleep. He simply waited until his parents slept, then quietly got up, crept out of the tribe, and, by the moonlight, ca to the foot of White Rock Mountain not far away.

However, looking up at the mountain—

This side of the mountain is not a mountain, but a cliff.

The cliff towers high, touching the clouds, the whole surface is craggy rocks, impossible to climb. To go around it, even a day might not be enough.

Yan Chen was dumbfounded: "How am I going to get up there?"

He thought of the evening when that master raised his Qi, leaped onto the treetop, lightly tapped his way straight to the foot of the cliff. Yan Chen watched from afar, seeing the master use hands and feet, agile as a monkey, light as a bird, easily climbing up.

At the ti, he didn’t realize it.

But now, standing close, he was shocked to realize this cliff was dozens of ters high, so places as steep as walls, and that master, as long as he borrowed a little force from slight protrusions, could imdiately leap up.

This is a master!

But for him?

"How am I going to get up?"

Yan Chen stared at the top of the cliff, where there seed to be mist, and fierce wind, making him dizzy and filled with fear.

He had a mind to retreat.

But then he thought—

"That master asked to go up; it must be a test!"

"Since I want to learn skills, how can I fear difficulty?"

Yan Chen gritted his teeth—

Climb!

He went to the foot of the cliff, climbing vines and clinging to ivy, with his heart set on going upward.

The cold wind blew!

The cold penetrated to the bone!

As he climbed, suddenly there were no more vines or ivy, the path ahead was bare, without any shrubbery, now Yan Chen had no place to exert force.

He looked around, seeing no way.

His heart grew anxious.

Looking down again, he was startled to find he had unknowingly climbed seven or eight ters high; getting up seed easy before, but now, looking down, he couldn’t find a foothold; relying only on vines and ivy, he dared not go down.

Now.

He was in a predicant!

Yan Chen was stuck, unable to move up or down, with the cold wind cutting through him, almost driven to tears.

He gritted his teeth, a surge of spirit rose within: "If I can’t get down, then I won’t!"

He looked forward, eyes wide, searching for a path to climb.

Upon careful inspection.

Suddenly, a joy.

In front, although barren without vines, the rock wall had protrusions and grooves that, upon closer inspection, seed sufficient for hand and foot support.

"Heaven leaves a way!"

Yan Chen, delighted, climbed cautiously.

With a clear mind, careful and attentive.

Climbing all the way up.

When the cold wind around him beca even sharper, the view before Yan Chen suddenly opened up, and he was overjoyed: "I’m at the top!"

He hurriedly used hands and feet to climb up!

Upon reaching the top.

He saw.

On the mountain peak, under the moonlight, the master he t in the evening was sitting cross-legged on a boulder, exhaling clouds of breath, like a deity!

...

"Since you’ve made it up here, I’ll teach you a few moves."

"The ’Eagle Claw Fist’, in na ’claw’, actually emphasizes the lower body. If your lower body is unstable, any technique, thod, practice, or execution will be substantially compromised."

"Therefore, I won’t teach you moves or claw techniques, only one form ’Stance Flipping’."

Yan Chen reached the cliff, listening as the master mumbled words he didn’t understand, then, with a familiar branch in hand, struck and disciplined his limbs and torso, teaching: "’Stance Flipping’s crucial points are fast, hard, and brittle bouncing, long force and short pause, drilling, flipping, and falling, offense and defense alternating, powerful sudden strikes. The upper limbs emphasize protruding and receding punches, the lower limbs emphasize qilin steps."

’Stance Flipping’, combining ’Pile Skill’ and ’Flipping’ techniques, one still, one moving, was summarized by Yan Chuan from many ’Eagle Claw Fist’ techniques as a fundantal cultivation technique. Compared to ’Horse Stance’ and ’Twelve Bridge Hands’, ’Stance Flipping’ is more suitable for martial artists practicing ’Eagle Claw Fist’ to build a foundation.

Yan Chuan instructed.

Yan Chen practiced.

As he gestured and struck, with a demonstration, about an hour passed, and Yan Chen had roughly grasped the key points of ’Stance Flipping’. Next cos persistent practice.

Looking at Yan Chen again.

During the day, he practiced fist routines, at night he didn’t sleep, climbed the cliff, and practiced ’Stance Flipping’ with Yan Chuan for half an hour. His eyelids drooped, his physical strength and energy already at the limit.

Yan Chuan didn’t force him, pointed for Yan Chen to lie down, seeing him shiver from the cold, Yan Chuan laughed: "Your body isn’t fit, I’ll teach you so breathing, sitting, walking, sleeping thods, practice them well!"

From this day on.

Yan Chen officially followed Yan Chuan in martial arts training.

Yan Chuan taught him ’Stance Flipping’, also imparted so nourishnt and breathing control thods from the ’Five Animals Qigong’ and ’Mixed Elent Skill’.
