The farther they are away from people, the shakier her legs beco.

"Do... do we need to close the doors?" Iesa as they entered the ergency staircase.

"It's fine. It's more suspicious if we did close them."

There were so background noises since they were not that far away from the crowded areas.

Iesa felt surreal that she wasn't hearing any voices, especially that there is one person in front of her.

'Why couldn't I hear anything from him?'

A tear was about to co out of Iesa's eyes. Sohow, hearing Teren's thought about her was more relieving. At the very least, she could see through him.

Unfortunately for her, this was the first ti that sothing like this happened. As if there was sothing blocking Teren's thoughts from her.

'There is no way that he isn't thinking about anything right now or any ti of this day since I t him!' she panicked.

"Let get straight to the point, we don't have enough ti anyway." Teren sat on a higher step and looked down on her. He took a phone from his pocket.

"Last night, I tried to open it to see if there's sothing I could threaten you with."

Iesa sharply inhaled.

"However, there's a lock. What's the password?"

"..." Iesa tried to stay silent. However, the stare from Teren was the most pressure she ever had in her life.

'I'm such an idiot! Why did I lead him here? I'm so dumb! I'm can't think straight.'

"Calm down, Iesa. If I want to you wouldn't be here right now... breathing."

"Haa..." this only made her more fearful towards him.

"You see, I have a ntal disorder. I don't care about anything. I don't know if you could call a psychopath but that is pretty close." Teren smiled, "I do what I want." he lied as easy as breathing.

"If you understand , nod."

Iesa's breathing was becoming ragged as she nodded.

"In other words, I don't want to do anything to you. You're a witness who can destroy my life. However, I wouldn't do anything. Why? I don't know... because you're cute? I don't know too."

'I don't understand what he is saying!'

Seeing that Iesa is not calming down, Teren rolled his eyes while sighing.

'I haven't tried this before. She's not calming down. It would be problematic if she fainted here.'

"Okay, fine." Teren stood up, scaring Iesa. But instead of doing anything as Iesa expected, he turned around, "If you can't calm down now, let's retry later. Oh, let's start with the basic threat."

Teren casually stepped down before holding Iesa's neck and pushing her to a wall.

The deep hell of a void stared directly into Iesa's eyes.

"If you told anyone about what you saw, I will skin you."

Iesa began to cry which made Teren frown.

"I haven't skin anyone, yet. So if you want to be the first, just tell anyone. I will know imdiately."

Teren then ca out.

However, he didn't co back to the classroom. Through the gaps of the ergency door, he saw Iesa broke down and cry.

'Oh man...' he leaned on the wall, 'If only she's not a witness, I would've consoled her instead.'

Scratching his head, he laughed at himself.

"But it's not like I have the ability to sympathize."

Only when it's almost ti for class did Iesa wiped her tears. Seeing that she's finished, Teren ca back first.

Back to the classroom.

Everyone was seated. There were only two empty seats.

"Hey, Teren. I thought you and Iesa were together. Where is she?" Lina turned around to ask him.

"Um... I don't know. We aren't together in the first place. Maybe it's a coincidence that we ca out."

"Is that so?"

The teacher ca in before Iesa arrived. The redness on her eyes was visible. No matter how much she tried to be calm about it, everyone was looking at her.

She felt like crying again.

'I... I should just bribe her. At the very least, she wouldn't be in such a pitiful state.'

The teacher was curious about Iesa's state but not to make the class awkward, he was about to continue where he left off. However, there was another interruption.

"Sir Jerad, can we speak with you?"

The principal was at the door.

"Yes, principal!" Sir Jerad imdiately ca out, "Wait, class. Please behave." he then closed the door.

The class erupted in talks.

"Woah, what's that? The principal had policen beside her."

"Is sothing happening I'm not aware of?"

"Maybe the teacher cheated and is now caught? Hehehe."

"Is he married?"

Seeing this developnt, Iesa's face brightened. But soon, she fell into a dilemma. Rembering Teren's strong hand pushed onto her neck, she shivered.

'It seed like an investigation is happening. I don't know if the bully died or not but surely the police would be notified. Should I co up to them and tell them what happened?'

While thinking of this, Iesa ignored all the thoughts about her.

'Why is she crying?'

'What happened?'

Mike: 'Didn't she just ca out with Teren earlier?'

Catherine: 'Did they broke up or sothing? Hahaha, but it's impossible for them to be together in the first place.'

Iesa glanced at Teren. She didn't know that this single glance would baffle her so much.

'Why... why is he acting as if nothing would happen to him?!'

Teren was just tapping on his desk in deep thoughts. Unlike her, he was calm, and no sign of anxiety could be seen in his appearance.

That was when she rembered what Teren said earlier.

'He really has a ntal disorder? A psychopath...? Is that also the reason why I cannot hear his thoughts?'

Iesa felt scared and found sothing creepy.

'If that's true, does that an that I am vulnerable against the most dangerous people? I've always taken it for granted that I know who is dangerous and who is not! I am so wrong!'
