Maria glanced sideways at Julia, a smug grin tugging at her lips. "I’m just saying, if soone had proper temperature control, maybe the parking lot wouldn’t look like a scene from Frozen."

Julia didn’t look at her. "And if soone didn’t have the spatial awareness of a wrecking ball, maybe we wouldn’t need hazard tape around every entrance you touch."

Morgan tried to whisper to Cornelius. "Are they always like this?"

Cornelius sipped his marshmallow cocoa and answered sagely. "Only on days that end with ’Y’."

Lisa raised an eyebrow. "So... every day? And how do you even know them? They’re way out of your league."

Julius sniffed and clasped his hands. "These fla-and-frost harpies think they’re intimidating, but let us not forget, dear friends, that raw elentalism is rely primal. We, on the other hand, represent the peak of psychic sophistication."

Maria turned, her eyes narrowing at Julius. "Sorry, who are you again? Discount theater kid or backup magician?"

"I am the Brainwave Sovereign, crowned by cognition, baptized in brilliance—" Julius said with grandeur.

"—And powered by cringe," Lisa muttered.

Dante cracked his knuckles. "Let at her. I bet her power level drops the mont soone slaps that coffee out of her hand."

Eloise rolled her eyes. "We do not engage in barbarism. That’s for the gym rats and the commoners."

Hector crossed his arms, unimpressed. "If ’commoners’ ans not being a mber of your Dollar Store Illuminati, I’ll take it."

Morgan puffed her cheeks. "You just can’t handle psychic excellence! That’s why Kaizer talks to us like we’re special!"

"You an like you’re on a watchlist?" Lisa offered sweetly.

As the barbs flew and egos clashed, Julia and Maria had inched closer again, their powers rising in tandem like a baroter for chaos.

A single twitch from either could end with soone’s car—or dignity—going up in smoke or ice.

Sophia stood between them, arms folded now, her expression frozen in calm disappointnt.

"Don’t make seal you two in the void," she warned.

Both A-rankers flinched slightly.

"Fine." Julia acquiesced and remained silent.

"Whatever." Maria muttered and turned away unhappily.

Then, it happened.

Everyone froze on the spot as a sudden pressure dropped onto the group like a divine hamr. It ca with no sound nor any light, being just raw presence.

One by one, knees buckled as Lisa collapsed forward onto her palms, Hector hit the snow with a grunt and Julius gasped, then clutched his head, falling to one knee like he was being judged by the universe.

Sophia’s eyes widened as her spatial awareness was compressed and folded inward, essentially locking space and preventing her from entering the void.

Morgan clutched her skull. "Wh-what is this...?! My thoughts are... stuck!"

Cornelius’s mug shattered as the hot chocolate froze mid-air. "My blood... won’t move..."

Eloise’s lips trembled. "This isn’t a technique. This is... will. Pure will."

Even Julia and Maria, both seasoned A-rankers, fell to one knee, their powers stifled under the weight pressing down from above. Their eyes dilated, sweat beading along their brows despite the frigid air, but they recognized this power more than anyone, having been directly beaten by it before.

Their heads slowly turned—along with everyone else’s—toward the mountain slope, and there, silhouetted by the sun’s halo, a single figure began descending.

His steps were slow, exceedingly calm and elegantly asured, the snow itself seed suppressed and didn’t crunch beneath his feet while the arrogant chilly winds of winter took a wide berth around him.

His posture was casual and relaxed, with hands in his jogger’s pockets, a pink power ranger scarf trailing gently behind him.

Despite this friendly and even amusing scene, the pressure he exuded felt like the laws of reality themselves bowed with each step.

Though they couldn’t see his face clearly yet, they knew... it was him.

Kaizer had finally returned from his seclusion and he had not returned the sa.

Just a few minutes ago, under the urging of Rina, who had practically beco his personal maintenance expert, Kaizer took a bath after finishing so basic physical strength training by lifting his body up and down while in a handstand.

With a towel around his neck and garbed in a white singlet as well as grey joggers, he was pushed into the shower by Rina, who wore her typical attire made of a white cropped jacket, a tight-fitting black crop top that displayed her midriff, and extrely tight glossy leggings that displayed her wide hips and feminine curves wantonly.

Kaizer was speechlessly pushed in and took a quick but simple shower, letting the water run down his body as he thought of the horror and agony he experienced these past 8 months of secluded training.

Day and night, he was pushed to his limits, waking up early and sleeping late as he was forced to use special recovery items to heal the damage done to his body. The Dean was thorough in that regard, using the precious golden liquid of life Essence every so often to completely heal any leftover sequelae.

With such a precious resource and such intense training, these 8 months had condensed what a normal person would need 8 years of training to achieve if they rested and practiced normally.

Kaizer had always loved and hated training arcs in his favorite fictional dia. He liked them because they showed growth and allowed one to see the protagonist working for their power, but he hated that they were always short and only barely enough for the current threat without thinking about the next.

Yeah, you’ve beaten Pain, so why not go back to Toad Island for more sage training?? What are you doing frolicking about?!

However, after undergoing his own version of it, Kaizer could only kneel and apologize. He was young and petulant, not knowing what true suffering was. On top of that, he was lucky his ntor was wizened and able to give direct guidance all the ti while his beloved Rina would always co here tirelessly to comfort him and make sure his spiritual fatigue was low.

As the water washed down, he cleaned his hair and passed a hand through his stubble that had grown over this period of ti, feeling amused at his physical changes. Even without using telesthesia to see himself in the third person, the misty porcelain walls reflected his hazy figure.

It showed a young man who was around 6 foot 1, with ssy black hair, a light mustache, as well as stubble, along with a muscular body that was not burly but extrely compact and in possession of muscle lines at all junctions and corners.

But the most notable thing that even the hazy reflection could not suppress were those two blue eyes that were like torch lights. Anyone who looked at Kaizer would notice these eyes and feel alarm, because such brightness was not normal.

However, if they had made the mistake of looking into his eyes, their entire mindscape would be at the rcy of this young man, their life and death at his fingertips.

Kaizer felt helpless as he lowered the intensity of his psychic power and sealed it by about 50%, reducing the glow of his eyes to a startling, but not inhuman level.

Eventually, he left the shower, clean and refreshed, a towel wrapped around him. As usual, the unscrupulous and lustful Rina barged into his room and began picking out clothes to wear while taking greedy looks at his body.

Having been accosted by Rina countless tis, Kaizer was already used to it and no longer covered himself up like a maiden yet to marry when she entered, roaring at her to get out.

"Here, your attire for today!" Rina said as she brought out a nice long-sleeved turtleneck sweater of a blue and black design, along with slightly loose joggers of the sa tonation. Along with a pair of black sneakers, the fit did look suitable for winter, but Kaizer felt it was pointless since the cold no longer affected him after the Dean’s temperate and terrain training.

Still, he decided to humor Rina and wore it, casually assembling the clothes onto his body with telekinesis and making the scheming young lady tsk in annoyance.

Rina then dragged him out, placing him in a seat that she got the AR room to make which had a set of barbering tools. Taking a shaving knife, she applied a liberal amount of shaving cream to Kaizer’s face and let it sit there for a while before gently shaving him clean.

Kaizer remained placid the entire ti, letting Rina groom him back into perfection, especially since she personally washed and shampooed his hair into a salon basin then applied Kaizer’s favorite hair cream that allowed him to sort his ssy hair into his trademark slicked-back style.

When Rina was done, Kaizer stood up with his full height, only slightly overlooking Rina who was at a re 5 feet and 10 inches.

Seeing Kaizer like this, grood back into perfection, Rina’s expression was practically the famous ’neuron activation’ .
