PEI GE tugged at Ji Ziming’s arm and whispered into his ear. Gu Sheng’s face turned darker and darker, making her feel uneasy.

Gu Sheng seed to not hear Ji Ziming’s words as he turned his gaze to the side and ignored the two of them. He tugged at the hem of his dress and prepared to go upstairs. She did not believe that her son would run away.
“Mom,” she said.
Ji Ziming shouted angrily when he saw that Gu Sheng had already gone upstairs. He really did not know where the deanour of those ladies from noble families had gone.
“Don’t mind her. My mom doesn’t know you well enough. Should we wait for my dad to co back?”
He hugged her and consoled her. He did not know what to say to make her not mind anymore. He could not even understand his mother’s attitude.
“Don’t worry,”
She shook her head. Although she said that she was fine, she was actually still bothered by it. Her expression was very unnatural, but fortunately, she was in his arms, so he could not see it.

“Why don’t I give my father a call?”
He stopped her. Before eting his father, there was still hope. If he missed this chance, he did not know when she would be willing to co to his house again. He was really worried about his mother.
The man’s hands did not stop moving. He took out his phone and opened his contacts. Just as he dialed the number, he heard the door lock ring. It was his father.

“Then, I’ll send her back first.”
