Ji Ziming looked at Pei Ge, who was lying in his embrace, and said gently, “Lazy pig, aren’t you getting up?”

“You woman.”
Ji Ziming repeated but his eyes were filled with love for Pei Ge.
She sat up and moved to get clothes from the walk-in closet but was stopped by him before she could. She turned to ask him in confusion, “What’s wrong?”
“I’ll apply the dicine for you.”
Ji Ziming’s eyes were cold. He had already forgotten about applying dicine on Pei Ge. He only rembered that the wound on Pei Ge’s back was getting better. Although it was still a scar, the pink flesh was slowly healing.

Seeing the certainty in his eyes, she did not reject him. She sat on the sofa with the clothes in her hands and unbuttoned her shirt, exposing her bare back.
His entire skin was smooth to the touch. If one ignored the scar, Ji Ziming’s eyes would be filled with anger and bloodlust. Anyone who attacked his woman would not have a good ending. No matter who that person was or what his background was.

“Ziming, let’s go to the office today. I’m almost done.”
Pei Ge pulled up her silk pajamas to hide the wound on her back and the red streak in Ji Ziming’s eyes.
“Okay, let’s go to the office. I want to give you a present today.”
Ji Ziming’s lips curled into a cold smile as his eyes turned red.
After changing their clothes and having breakfast in the hotel’s VIP room, Ji Ziming drove the black Rolls-Royce to Ji Group and parked the car in the shopping mall opposite the company.
“Ziming, aren’t we going to the company?”
Pei Ge watched as Ji Ziming stopped the car but did not have any intention of entering the Ji Group. She rely looked up at the busy shopping mall beside her with a hint of noise in her eyes. Seeing so many people of all shapes and sizes, she could not find anyone that could make Ji Ziming’s eyes fix on her.
“Yes, but we have to go sowhere else before going to the office.”
Ji Ziming’s eyes were filled with a cold smile as he looked at Pei Ge’s back.
After spending so much ti with him, she still felt suffocated when she saw his smile.
“Where are we going?”
Pei Ge was not sure if this was the shopping mall that Ji Ziming was referring to, but what did her company’s recent mishap have to do with it?
“Right here.”
Ji Ziming pointed at the shopping mall outside the car window and raised his voice. “That’s right. I want to bring you to this place. I want to bring you to et soone. When you see this person, you will know why I brought you here.”
Ji Ziming looked at Pei Ge with his deep eyes. Pei Ge’s small figure grew bigger in his eyes until the two of them got closer.
“Ge Ge, I will never forgive those who hurt you!”
She was touched. It was this man who shielded her from the wind and rain and accompanied her through the dark tis of her life.
“Ziming, actually...”
Pei Ge wanted to explain further but was pulled into Ji Ziming’s embrace. The familiar sll that ca out of nowhere surrounded her.
“Ge Ge, don’t worry. I’ll definitely find out who the mastermind is. I won’t let the person who hurt you do anything to hurt you. If they make you bleed one drop, I’ll make them bleed ten, twenty, or even a hundred drops. I’ll let them know that my woman is not soone they can touch just because they want to.”
Ji Ziming hugged Pei Ge tightly as he used the car’s reflective mirror to look at the various types of people at work.
They were indeed a little early, so early that the person who should have appeared had yet to appear.
The two hugged and Ji Ziming tidied Pei Ge’s ssy hair. His actions were gentle and his eyes were filled with love.
“Ge Ge, does your back still hurt?”
“It doesn’t hurt anymore. Actually, it was fine long ago. That doctor’s dicine is really useful.”
