When Xie Xiao first heard the knocking, he thought he had misheard.
It was already past midnight, who would be knocking at this hour?
But after hesitating for a mont, Xie Xiao still walked over to the door and peered through the peephole.
Outside stood a nervous-looking girl at the doorstep.
Perhaps because the door had not been opened, she knocked a few more tis.
Xie Xiao didn't open the door imdiately but instead asked through it, "Hello, can I help you?"

It was then that Luo Yanran ca out and saw him oddly leaning against the door; she approached and asked, "What's going on?"
Xie Xiao said, "Soone is knocking, saying she's the neighbor from 811. She says there's soone in her house..."
Luo Yanran paused for a mont, pulled him away, and looked through the peephole herself, "I'll handle this, I t her last month when she moved in."

Standing at the door was a girl still in uniform, who seed to have just returned from work.
She still wore a look of horror on her face.
Upon seeing Luo Yanran, she felt a bit relieved, as she had almost thought she had gotten the apartnt wrong when she heard a man's voice.
"Miss Luo, sorry to disturb you, there seems to be soone in my household, I've already called the police, but they haven't arrived yet, and I'm a bit scared..." Li Xiu now looked a bit embarrassed, especially noticing the man behind Miss Luo who seed to be undressed.
Well, even undressed, he was a handso guy, though the marks on his body were rather suggestive.
Luo Yanran quickly invited her in, "You should co inside."
Then, with a glance, she noticed Xie Xiao standing behind her undressed, still bearing her teeth marks...
Luo Yanran's face flushed as she slapped him lightly, "Go put on so clothes."
Xie Xiao, apologizing as he saw the neighbor co in and close the door behind her, said, "I'm sorry about that."
He then cautioned Luo Yanran, "Don't just open the door."
Then he turned and went back to get dressed.
As Luo Yanran watched him leave, many more marks were visible on his back.
Her face grew hot, but she still said to Li Xiu, "Sorry, he didn't expect to open the door."
After Li Xiu ca inside and perhaps felt a bit safer, her complexion improved a lot, and she awkwardly said, "Ah, no, I'm the one who should be sorry, I hope I didn't disturb you."
Luo Yanran quickly shook her head, evidently not wishing to dwell on that topic, "Please sit down, I'll get you a glass of water."
Li Xiu followed her into the living room and took a seat.
The place was decorated cozily, with a few books laid on the table beside the sofa; Li Xiu glanced at them, so on law and so on economics.
They seed to be very close.
On top of the TV stand, there were so photo fras.
At first glance, most appeared to be group photos.
Li Xiu thought of Xie Xiao and then of Luo Yanran, they indeed looked very well-matched.
As Luo Yanran poured water in the kitchen, the heat in her face started to subside.

Xie Xiao nodded at her, "Hello, my na is Xie Xiao. I'm Ranran's boyfriend, and we live here together."
Li Xiu had a sowhat embarrassed look on her face, "I've been over a few tis to say hello and bring things, but only Miss Luo was ho. I thought she lived alone just like ."

By the ti they really got a mont to themselves and returned ho, it was already past one o'clock.
Xie Xiao saw Luo Yanran's exhausted face and touched her cheek, "Do you still want to have porridge?"
Luo Yanran weakly shook her head, "Maybe today really isn't the day for porridge, I won't have any."
Xie Xiao playfully pinched her face, "Really not going to eat? You're not hungry?"
Luo Yanran wrapped her arms around his waist and nestled into his chest, murmuring softly, "I was hungry just now, but now it seems to have passed, and I don't want to move. I want to sleep."
Then she added, "But it seems a bit wasteful not to eat."
Well, the hint was very obvious.

Xie Xiao went out, ward up the porridge, and ate. By the ti he was finished, it was already two o'clock.
He opened the door and took a look; it seed that friends had rushed over to Li Xiu's ho, and the noise was quite loud.
Xie Xiao glanced over and then went back to sleep.
In spite of the evening's troubles, it didn't affect their excitent about going ho soon.
The door closed.
Li Xiu stood at the doorway, looking at the door that had just closed.
Her friend asked worriedly, "Xiuxiu, it's too dangerous here, why don't you move? What are you looking at?"
Li Xiu ca back to her senses, "Nothing, I was just looking at the neighbors who opened the door to let in. They're a young couple, and they were really kind."
The friend nodded, "Indeed, they must be good people to open the door for you at this ti. But that's really brave of them; I wouldn't dare."
Li Xiu sighed, "That's why so many people find themselves without help now."
She looked once more in the direction of Xie Xiao's ho, grateful she'd encountered such warm-hearted good samaritans.
