The lady looked at with amusent shining in her eyes. She said, "It's fine. Mistakes do happen and we are human beings. Mistakes are in our DNA. To be honest, I don't mind you making this mistake."
I looked sceptical at her words. I observed her face for a bit. She is a beautiful woman, that I won't deny. Licking my lips, I said, "Okay... I think I should go now." I have to find Kaerin.
"Wait! That was a beautiful song. I really like music. Do you... do you live around here? Cause' I live around here. Not literally here... I just live here," asked the lady. She is trying to flirt, isn't she?
"Sorry to burst your bubble, I don't live around here. But I do live in this empire," I teased her.
"Yeah-yeah, oh... I an, everybody does live in this glorious empire of ours. Why are you here by the way? Not that I am complaining."
I snorted hearing her words. Well then, let's humour her.
"I am here for the festival, just like everybody else. I believe you are also here for that," I asked her.
She fidgeted with her fingers a bit, probably to use her next pickup line. "Yes, you are here for festival. Why am I even asking you this? I am an idiot," she sighed, "I... ok, that was terrible."
"That was kind of terrible," I agreed.
"I am so sorry."
"It's fine."
She turned around and took a step, only for her to stop. She turned around and looked at . It seems she revived her fighting spirit.
"You know what? Fuck it! I have already ruined this. So, I am just gonna go ahead and ask your address."
"I don't give my address to strangers." Well, lady... you would just run away if you know my real na and address.
"Oh... then how about we et here tomorrow?"
"About that, I am busy." I am the emperor of this empire. I am bound to be busy.
"You are busy? Are you a farr or sothing?"
"How rude! You know, being a farr is not bad," I gasped mockingly at the words she uttered. Agriculture and hunting are the basic components of human survival since the ancient tis.
"Is that so? How about I help you?" You want to help ? I don't think you can run the empire. Also judging by your appearance, you are not the type to farm.
I smirked, "I like grazing cows. Lady, I should warn you. They excrete a lot. If sothing bad happens, you may find yourself in a tsunami of cow dung."
"I will endure it." She will endure it? Not many would say that. I believe she is just pulling my leg like I am pulling hers.
"I have a husband." Well, that's a lie if we ignore Kaerin's blabbering.
"I will wait until you divorce him."
I smirked, "What if I don't divorce him?" Telling to divorce my imaginary husband... whoa, she is serious.
"Then I will wait for you forever. I will die single, if you don't leave him."
Wow! That's really from strong words. Did she fell in love with at the first sight? I don't know whether to be happy or sad. She fell in love with my disguise, right? Or, the 'soul' thing is working here.
Unable to control to anymore, I laughed loudly. Her patience is really admirable. "What if I am using a disguise? I an, you don't know my na," I teased her.
"I could say the sa. You neither know my na nor, you know anything about . What if I am the one disguising myself instead of you?"
I shrugged and turned away. Well, I have wasted enough ti with her. From my back, the sa lady yelled, "About 'the address' thing... it ca out wrong. I am not a creep. Listen! I will find you and when I find you, we will have a nice dinner sowhere. Away from your husband!"
I giggled and continued walking. I have to find Kaerin. Suddenly, I spotted so n with their hoods on. Just by looking at them, I could easily deduce that they are up to no good. If I think what they are... then it's ti to be serious.
