The box fell as Ye Chen gripped the phone tightly and roared, creating a powerful shockwave that sent Jane and others stumbling onto the floor. Their eyes were filled with horror as they saw a brutal monstrous expression on Ye Chen as if he was mass murdered.
"Why did you kill her? Why...? What did she do wrong?"

His heart started drowning guilt but he tried to suppress it by blaming the man.

A malevolent voice snapped Ye Chen out of his thoughts.

The other side paused a little before speaking.
"Maybe her death was a blessing that end her nightmare of loving a fucking piece of shit like you."

The phone in Ye Chen's hand exploded into bits when the call ended, but he paid no heed to it as he was wailing like a widow.
"NOOOOOO!SHUT UP!"
His cries of agony traveled far in the room and echoed in the hallway.
With bloodshot eyes, he wrapped his arms around Rose's head and scread.
"KILL! I will find you and kill you. I will show you the terror of the rcenary King."
With a loud howl, he shut the door with a bang terrifying Jane.
He then placed Rose to the side and stared at Jean.
"Y…Ye Chen…are you okay?"Jane's voice quivered as she felt goosebumps all over her back.
Ye Chen blind to Jane's pleas, with a mournful cry leaking from his mouth, he jumped into Jane's embrace who was too stupefied to react and just let Ye Chen do as he wished and tried to give him solace who had been devoured by his madness…..

A man wiped his sweat staring at the bright sun..

The man rested on a beach chair on his huge cruise ship deck and enjoyed the warm sun signaling the forthcoming spring after winter.

His joyful expression suddenly changed seeing his servant walking beside him.

The man's casual expression disappeared leaving a newfound sternness.

"Tom, you should have a good reason to interrupt my vacation otherwise I will cut your funding from this very mont."
Tom who heard this started to sweat profusely. Wiping his sweat, Tom braced himself and spoke.
"Lord Stephen, it's about the lost Jewel. We have found the location."
Stephen's eyes narrowed slightly. Though his expression was calm on the outside, he was unable to curb his excitent from the inside.

As Stephen heard the events, his excitent dimd down and got trampled as Tom poured cold water on him by informing him that by the fourth day of the opening, the entire hill collapsed, closing the entrance and dealing great damage to rcenaries situated there.
There have been heavy losses and casualties due to great destruction.

Stephen tapped on the armrest thinking carefully.

However, he wasn't going to have a full-blown confrontation as it would be severely detrintal, and he didn't want his n to suffer casualties.
