Stefanie lunged at Roland's figure and held it trying to shake Roland but her heart burst in pain seeing his eyes becoming dim.
"AHHH! Why are you cruel?"Stefanie's bewildered cries resonated in vast places.
"That's the price for being my enemy! Why, are you regretting now for not accepting my offer?''Seph asked with a playful smile while enjoying the woman's aggrieved look.
As she knelt there, grief weighed heavy on her heart, and a sense of overwhelming despair washed over her. Stefanie biting her lips stood up to face the suffocating pressure from Seph.
Raising her dead eyes she scread"So what are you going to do with ?
"Kill ? Rape or sell ? I am sure you have already decided my fate."
"You think you are god? You think you can kill anyone without any cause just for fun right but…"
Stefanie raised her red puffy eyes devoid of any warmth and spat.
"I curse you fucker. I curse you Seph Greymore and all those cruel fucking bitches lingering around you. Rember it…."

Seph sighed seeing the topic. After hassling around, only now he had managed to finish one of the main quests.
Leaving the first protagonist Lin Fang, the second one died out of nowhere while the value of Roland kept on decreasing as he seed to be going further away from the destined plot so before this idiot does sothing and loses his plot armor, it would be good to get rid of him.
But that wasn't the only reason....

Shaking off his thoughts, Seph snapped his finger, and soon flas engulfed Roland's body and devoured it into nothingness.
When everything settled down, only the heat and smoke remained in the surroundings, and Seph casually put one of his hands in his pockets, carried the woman in his other hand, and started to walk in the direction he knew his Shadow guards were anxiously waiting for him.
He glanced at unconscious Stefanie's face for a mont and stared at her body.
"That guy knows how to choose but it's too bad. She would be a test subject. As much I want to break her but with so many beauties there is no need to forcefully occupy each one of them, " Seph comnted and turned his attention to the system.
"That Lin Fang, after getting beaten around, had gone into seclusion. I hope I can harvest a lot from him once he cos out. Aside from that there is only Caron who has gone to the shadow zone."
"It's boring, should I go out and ss with protagonists of other countries now?"Seph discarded his thoughts.
While he was already a Martial King and could step into Martial Emperor, others were still Martial Grandmasters or at Lords. He won't get much now.

Seph then scrolled through the system shop and saw the pill for a whopping 20000. One may think that 20000 for a Martial Ancestor was too little but only those who know the arduous path know that this was nothing because Martial Ancestor ant nothing once a person goes beyond the Dinsion Zone.
There is a reason why the word Martial is added to stages of power.
The cultivation of this world that allowed Qi to take was developed based on Martial Arts humans had developed.
There had been prior thods of cultivation that allowed one to assimilate Qi so it began with Martial Art gathering internal energy and then through practice slowly replacing it with Qi and this was how modern Qi-gathering thods were developed.
But still, there was a fundantal difference between a True Cultivator and a Martial Artist becoming a cultivator.
Fundantally the Cultivators used breathing thods to take the influx of Qi and form a connection with heaven and earth but compared to them, the humans slowly adapted to Qi.
A human first starts learning Martial Arts to increase his tabolism and slowly the cells of the body under pressure start taking qi from the veins of the body. As one absorbs Qi, the cells undergo mutation to accommodate the influx of Qi from ridians serving as a proper channel to transfer but cultivators' body cells don't need to adapt and directly process the Qi.
Another difference was in the manipulation of Qi by using it to cast spells, and thirdly the consciousness.
The Consciousness of the Cultivator expands as it grows and covers a large area-like domain. They can even scan areas with their consciousness which is also called Divine Sense while Martial cultivators like him couldn't.
Also, a martial artist cultivator can't expand his senses beyond a certain range and can't control his consciousness or soul.
But did that an all of this was useless?
Of course not...
Cultivator fighting styles were quite stoic involving the bombardnt of spells and powerful attacks while the fighting of a Martial Cultivator was more fluid and gave an edge as one step into the True cultivation thod after learning Martial Art thods.
Alas after one reaches Martial Saint, one needs to go beyond the Dinsional zone to break through the next level and begin the next stage of cultivation.
That isn't just because of restrictions, rather it's the lack of thods, guidance, resources, and qi required for nourishnt.
Those who weren't able to do so decided to reach Martial Ancestor but in doing so, they might get a trendous boost in strength but there is no increase in lifespan.
"Reaching Martial Lord will keep you young until 70's without any life span increase. Martial King would extend it to 100 and the Emperor would make you around 120. A Martial Saint can live between 200 and 300 years but people don't persist beyond 150 due to the accumulation of injuries that soon take their lives. Grandpa is already 120 and he is supposed to die in 2 years. His body had already weakened a lot but with this, he would live fully for the remaining two years. I wish I could buy a cultivator manual but it's a whooping 100k even for a basic manual."
Seph then stared at the sky, wondering about the myriad life forms and miracles beyond the sky.
"Within one year, I would finish off the prey and then start my quest after entering the Dinsional zone."
With lips curling upwards, Seph muttered with a smile.
"It's a fun life but if I don't keep a balance I may fall off that's why…."
Seph eyes shone with a murderous glint.
