"To hate is to love. If you hate for a lifeti, it ans you love for a lifeti," Noah Reyes joked.

Adele Horne beca even angrier.

Shaless! Utterly shaless! Rogue! A total scoundrel!

No wonder Billy sotis behaves like a scoundrel in front of Camila. Like father, like son!

That was what Adele fiercely criticized in her heart.

Leisurely, Noah settled himself on the sofa and casually started flipping through a newspaper he found underneath the coffee table.

"I’m waiting for you to finish work, and then we’ll have dinner together."

With him around, no one else would even think of having dinner with his woman.

A phone call from Gio Coleman had cented his decision to stake his claim here and guard her. If one rival showed up, he’d toss one out. If two showed up, he’d toss out a pair. In any case, no one could touch Noah Reyes’s woman, or they’d face death!

"Oh, right, let’s go back to our place for dinner. You still haven’t been to our ho yet," Noah declared, as if Naless Manor were already their shared ho.

He took out his phone and called Deon Myers, instructing, "Deon, take a gift over to the Horne Family and then bring the young master back to the Manor. Tell the chefs to prepare the best dinner. I’ll bring the lady of the house ho for dinner later."

Deon Myers, hearing his boss’s instructions, thought his boss had finally made so progress and won over his lady. He eagerly complied, "Boss, rest assured, I will handle everything perfectly. I’ll go pick up the young master right now."

Noah Reyes hung up the phone, satisfied.

Adele, however, glared at him fiercely.

Such a tyrant! Just like her older brother!

Although her brother was domineering and possessive towards his wife, he doted on her greatly and would not force her to do anything she disliked. Adele had always envied her brother and sister-in-law’s marriage. If she really went with this man... No! She despised him; she refused to be with this man!

After hanging up the phone, Noah went back to casually reading the newspaper. Whether Adele agreed to return to Naless Manor with him didn’t concern him at the mont. Even if he had to drag her, he would take her. He absolutely would not give her any more opportunities to et Gio Coleman or spend ti with him alone.

Glades Horne arrived back at the Horne Family estate with his beloved wife, Julia.

As soon as Julia stepped out of the car, Auntie i and Uncle Ying greeted her with bright smiles. Auntie i even moved forward to assist Julia, saying with a laugh, "Madam Glades, be careful."

Julia broke out in a cold sweat! What in the world was going on? Did Auntie i want to support her just because she was pregnant again?

Julia quickly stepped away from Auntie i’s offered arm and said with a chuckle, "Auntie i, what are you doing?"

Auntie i chuckled. "Madam Glades, now that you’re pregnant again, you need to be extra careful. Your mother-in-law has personally cooked soup for you. Your own mother has also co, bringing many nourishing tonics. Ruby Bluen is inside with her now."

Julia’s face paled slightly. Here it cos again, she thought, the start of that ’National Treasure’ treatnt that always gave her a headache just thinking about it. She had thought that since this wasn’t her first pregnancy, her family’s reaction wouldn’t be so intense, and she could still lead a sowhat normal life. She hadn’t expected this...

Hearing that her own mother had also arrived, Julia quickly headed inside.

"Madam Glades, slow down, you’re wearing high heels!" Auntie i imdiately followed, her voice trembling with worry as she saw Julia walking briskly.

"It’s fine."

Without looking back, Julia kept her pace, undiminished. She wanted to get inside quickly to avoid Auntie i’s excessive concern.

Having alighted from the vehicle, Glades saw the scene and smiled faintly, opting not to say anything. Hearing Auntie i continuously reminding his wife, Glades’s eyes flashed. He then quickened his stable gait, catching up with Julia in no ti.

"Madam Glades..." Auntie i’s grandmotherly fussing continued.

Feeling a bit helpless, Julia was about to stop and turn to speak with Auntie i when suddenly she felt lighter. A pair of strong hands around her waist lifted her. Glades, now holding Julia, said firmly to Auntie i, "Auntie i, I’ll carry her inside. That should put your mind at ease, right?"

Julia’s face turned red.

Auntie i looked a bit embarrassed but nodded affirmatively.

Glades carried Julia inside.

"I can walk on my own, this is..." Julia felt sowhat embarrassed.

"Do you want to keep hearing Auntie i’s reminders? I don’t mind letting you walk," Glades said. "Tell , Julia, the chefs prepare all sorts of nutritious als for you every day, following the Nutrition Expert’s recomndations. How is it that you haven’t gained any weight? You’re the sa as before we married."

"Do you want to beco a pig?" Julia muttered softly. A woman’s greatest concern is often her weight. It had taken her a whole year after Ivan’s birth to finally get her weight under control, and she definitely didn’t want to balloon to the size of a pig.

Glades chuckled but didn’t respond.

Inside, Ruby Bluen was chatting about family matters with Scarlett Taylor.

Ever since Ruby Bluen beca a military wife, her life had beco very busy. She was often away from ho, so her visits to her parents’ house had beco less frequent. Scarlett Taylor sotis had to go to the company just to see her. Scarlett would occasionally complain to her son, Chris Bluen, asking him not to let his sister, Ruby, be so busy.

Chris Bluen felt sowhat helpless. As Scarlett Taylor’s son, he was currently preoccupied with wooing his intended bride, preparing to continue the Bluen family line. This courtship consud a great deal of his ti. Consequently, Ruby, devoted to her brother, had proactively taken on much of his work, which explained her busyness.
