How should one put it? He and Adele Horne were old classmates; they were familiar with each other and understood one another well.

Noah Reyes didn’t even bother to explain. He went straight to the point, clean and decisive!
"Are you out of your mind? Do you think I’m a three-year-old idiot?" Adele Horne, startled at first, yelled back even more angrily.
He loved her? Him? Love her? How could he possibly love her? What connection did they even have? Just that one ti, and he could fall in love with her? Please. She didn’t believe it. So what if she was decent-looking and had so charm? With his status, what kind of beautiful won hadn’t he seen? And considering his age—no younger than her own elder brother—how could he possibly not have had other won over the years? She was just one of the many won he’d toyed with. He was just using this as an excuse to snatch her son away! It was all about her son, right from the very beginning! If he claid he wasn’t here for their son, she wouldn’t believe him even if she died. If he’d truly developed feelings for her after just one encounter, how could he have let her suffer for so many years?
"Co out!" Noah Reyes said, not bothering to explain further. When those three words left his lips, he too was shocked. For a cold-blooded creature like himself to utter such cheesy words was astonishing. But after saying those words, his heart beca clearer. He truly did have feelings for her. A single passionate encounter had ensnared him completely. Even if she hadn’t been "good" in the past, he had still fallen for her.

That damned Demon! By what right did he speak to her in such a domineering, commanding tone!

"Deon Myers, imdiately take n to Talents School and bring the young master to ! Get my private jet ready! Send the young master to the Training Base for devilish training!" Noah Reyes said, deliberately affecting a commanding tone. In reality, he was deliberately saying this for Adele Horne to hear. He was currently sitting alone in his car, still on the phone with her. How could he possibly contact Deon Myers or instruct him?
Adele Horne was so infuriated by him that she felt dizzy. She hadn’t considered that possibility and, her temper flaring, yelled, "I’m coming out right now!"
That damned Demon! He wanted to take away her son and send him to so Training Base for devilish training? Damn it, did he want to train her precious son to be a demon like him?
"Three minutes. If I don’t see you, I’ll have Deon Myers act imdiately," Noah Reyes said, very satisfied that his forcefulness had an effect. It turned out that when pursuing one’s wife, the most effective thod was indeed forcefulness!
Noah Reyes’s self-righteousness would cause him much suffering later on.
"Demon! I’ll have a Daoist capture you sooner or later!" Adele Horne spat viciously before slamming down the phone.
Gio Coleman looked at her with a smile.

"Adele..." Gio Coleman began, wanting to add a word of caution, but it was too late; Adele Horne had already vanished.
He hurried to the window again, staring intently outside the company.
Outside the company, Noah Reyes sat in his car, smugly putting away his phone.

"Adele," Noah Reyes called, imdiately getting out of the car. He took two quick strides forward, seized her arm, and pulled her back.
In the office, Gio Coleman watched this scene unfold, his fists clenching anxiously.
