Glades Horne was dealing with company matters when he received the news of Julia Bluen's disappearance. Knowing his wife was missing, he naturally wasn't in the mood to handle company business and had already set it aside.

He hurriedly left the CEO's Office. Secretary Yang happened to be about to knock on the door to enter. Seeing him co out, she quickly said respectfully, "CEO, it's ti for the eting, and all the executives have arrived."

Glades Horne swept past Secretary Yang like the wind, his cold voice trailing back, "The eting is canceled!"

Secretary Yang was taken aback but still respectfully replied, "Okay."

She had just answered when Glades Horne had already disappeared into the elevator.

Soon, he reached the ground floor.

He got into his Rolls-Royce and ordered the bodyguards to drive imdiately towards XX Road.

Fortunately, the undercover bodyguards he had hired were tracking those who had kidnapped Julia.

Wade Coleman was his bodyguard, and Glades was well aware of his abilities; yet, Julia had still been kidnapped right under Wade's watch. The opposition must be skilled!

Although Glades Horne was angry that Wade had failed to protect his wife, he cald down. He realized that the kidnappers were highly skilled, and Wade wasn't entirely to bla.

Even though he had instructed everyone to help him intercept the sedan, he still felt uneasy and notified his three other brothers, excluding Marcel Horne. Each brother had their own strengths and networks. With their help, they would be more effective. What he wanted was to be able to pull Julia back into his arms the mont he arrived!

Jas Horne suddenly received a call from his big brother saying that Julia Bluen had been kidnapped, and his heart imdiately started to race. He then put aside a business deal worth over a hundred million that he was negotiating, apologized to his client, and left in a hurry. It was a major deal his company had been negotiating for several months.

But in his heart, no business was as important as Julia Bluen's safety.

「On XX Road.」

The sedan without a license plate was speeding along the road. Their vigilance was exceptionally high. They also knew that Julia Bluen's two undercover bodyguards were relentlessly pursuing them. They were trying to figure out how to lose the two bodyguards, but the pursuers' car was also a luxury vehicle, and its speed could match theirs.

"Damn it! We can't shake this car behind us!" one of the kidnappers exclaid.

The driver, glancing at the rearview mirror, saw the black Audi of the undercover bodyguards still in hot pursuit. Annoyance flashed across his face, then he suddenly spotted a large number of traffic police ahead conducting vehicle checks. "Trouble! There's a police checkpoint up ahead!" Perhaps it's because thieves always have a guilty conscience; he instantly beca nervous. They had removed their license plates because if they didn't, the owner of the car could be traced through it.

"Break through the checkpoint!" one of the n holding the unconscious Julia growled.

The other man glared at him and growled back, "Are you stupid? So many police officers, and you want to ram the checkpoint! Do you want the entire city's police force chasing us? Stop the car and throw this woman out."

"She's the CEO's wife of the Valence Group. Throwing her out of the car like this could kill her. If anything happens to her, none of us will live, and it will implicate the Young Miss. The Young Miss instructed that not a single hair on her head was to be hard," the driver turned and glared at them.

Even though their Young Miss had powerful backers, in the eyes of those backers, she was rely a minor underling with no significant standing. If Glades Horne discovered that backer because of the Young Miss, given his personality, he would undoubtedly confront them. If that backer grew angry as a result, many lives would be lost.

"Drive to the side of the road, gently lay her down, then turn the car around and flee back. We can temporarily divert the Audi's attention," said the man who had initially suggested breaking through the checkpoint, after calming down and thinking it over.

The driver felt it made sense. He hurried to park the car at the side of a crossroad. The two n in the backseat quickly and deftly took Julia Bluen out of the car and laid her gently on the roadside. Then, they rushed back into the car, turned around, and headed in the opposite direction, attempting to escape.

But just as they had turned and driven no more than fifty ters, they were hit head-on by an incoming container truck. The heavyweight container truck smashed into their small car, sending it flipping several tis on the highway. When the force dissipated, their small car lay overturned on the highway, battered beyond recognition, with gasoline spilled everywhere. A mont later, the small car exploded and burst into flas. The three n, drenched in blood, died instantly at the scene.

Traffic imdiately beca congested.

The police officers manning the checkpoint up ahead quickly rushed to the scene.

Julia Bluen's two undercover bodyguards arrived and hurriedly jumped out of their car to help Julia, who was lying at the side of the road, sit up. At this mont, Julia Bluen slowly regained consciousness. The pain radiating from the back of her neck made her handso face darken. She then saw the two undercover bodyguards who always seed to erge from nowhere whenever she was in trouble, and she realized she had been in peril again.

"What happened?"

She pushed away the bodyguard's support and stood up from the ground. Rubbing her sore neck, she asked coldly. Damn it, who had knocked her out! They struck too hard; her neck was killing her. She'd make her Glades chop that person a few tis too! It hurt so much!

"Julia!"

"Sis-in-law!"

"Miss Bluen!"

Three cars arrived frantically.

One was Glades Horne's Rolls-Royce, one was Jas Horne's red Audi, and one was Silvia Baxter's flashy sports car.

"What happened? Miss Bluen, I was ahead and noticed your car wasn't following, so I imdiately turned back," Silvia Baxter asked urgently as she parked her car and jumped out.

Glades Horne moved fastest, quick as lightning. Silvia Baxter watched, stunned. This man's speed could be compared to a certain unpredictable Young Master, she thought.

"Julia."

Glades Horne scooped Julia Bluen into his arms, his large hands urgently road over her body. Only after confirming she was unhard did he relax slightly.

Turning his head, his cold gaze fell on the two undercover bodyguards, and he asked coldly, "Where are they?" Daring to touch his, Glades Horne's, wife? He'd have Benjamin Robinson lock them all in prison for eight or ten years—better yet, life imprisonnt!
