There was no helping it; things were too dull. Watching the grandsons create a ruckus was like a series of shows to alleviate the boredom.

「Chic Attire Clothing Store.」

Rachel Bailey, following Julia Bluen's suggestion, clenched her teeth. She used so of the money she had just earned to rent a bit more space and then used individual hangers to hang up all her clothes. At the front of each row, she placed a large sign stating, "Each item 60 yuan, fixed price. Buy three, get one free."

Autumn and winter clothes were quite expensive. The quality of the stock Rachel purchased was good, comparable to items sold in other clothing stores for over a hundred yuan apiece. However, because her rent was comparatively low, she could buy them for several tens of yuan and still make a small profit. Now that she had raised the price to 60 yuan per item, discerning shoppers wouldn't find them expensive. Besides, everyone was attracted to the word "free." People have a psychological tendency to want anything free, regardless of its quality.

Buy three, get one free. Even though they knew Rachel Bailey wouldn't run a loss-making business, they still ca for the free item of clothing.

Rachel Bailey's business was doing much better than before; her shop was busy even during the dayti.

She was spinning in circles, all by herself, looking after so many clothes. It was a bit overwhelming, but she was happy to be busy—so happy, in fact, that she didn't even notice the familiar Range Rover parked at the roadside, nor the man inside who had been intently watching her for a full half-hour.

Hansen Ruiz took out his phone, switched on the cara, and began to surreptitiously take picture after picture of the busy little woman.

Anyway, he wasn't afraid of people laughing at him for doing what he wanted.

He captured the way she giggled while taking money.

He found her most attractive not just because of her sharp tongue, but also how she looked when taking money—it was very genuine. She openly showed her happiness on her small face, unafraid of being called greedy. After all, in her mind, she earned her money through her own labor, not by stealing or robbing, but openly and honestly.

He then saw the promotional slogan again.

Each item 60 yuan, fixed price, buy three get one free.

He rembered that her price used to be 40 yuan per item. According to her current sales tactic of buy three, get one free, she would indeed earn more than with the old price. It seed this girl had quite the business acun.

The two hadn't seen each other for three days, not since attending the Windsor Family Wine Party. He was busy. His CEO always had plenty of tasks to delegate to him daily, keeping him occupied with arrangents. While the CEO could lavish affection on his lovely wife, Hansen could only use his talents to complete the assigned tasks.

That night three days ago, after he dropped her off downstairs from her rented apartnt, she had said to him as she got out of the car, "Mr. Hansen, the favor I owed you was repaid tonight. From now on, it would be wise for us to et less. It would be best if we each go our own way."

She was not a fool. She must have noticed his ambitions.

A faint, gentle smile touched his lips, like a spring breeze caressing the earth. Only he knew he was using that smile to mask his wolfish ambitions. Well, it couldn't be called wolfish ambitions; he simply enjoyed being with her, thinking of luring her into his bed so they could make a baby together. He never cared about her ordinariness; his own appearance wasn't exceptionally handso either—he was more the type whose looks grew on you. As for social status? If he wanted sothing, no one could stop him. He was the one getting married. As long as he was happy, liked her, and felt content, that was all that mattered. His family's approval wasn't necessary. It wasn't as if his parents were the ones getting married. However, this little woman was eager to draw a clear line between them even before he had made any kind of confession.

Seeing Rachel Bailey still bustling about—it was now past three in the afternoon, and the streets were getting busier with pedestrians and shoppers—Hansen Ruiz opened his car door. He decided to get out and help his 'little prey,' perhaps by doing so odd jobs.

"Boss, how about 50 yuan per item?" So people, out of habit, still tried to haggle, flipping through the clothes while asking Rachel Bailey, who was making change for another custor.

Rachel Bailey smiled and pointed to her sign with the slogan. When she looked up, she saw Hansen Ruiz's tall figure standing in front of her clothing stall. He was smiling like a portly Maitreya Buddha, his eyes crinkling as if sunshine itself radiated from them.

Hansen Ruiz was still in that handso white suit, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. He smiled, his eyes carrying a hint of inscrutability as they focused on Rachel Bailey. In that mont, he had shed the composure of being the Chief Assistant of the Valence Group and the nobility of being the eldest son of the Ruiz family. He even concealed the maturity expected of his age, exuding a sowhat roguish air.

Why had he co again?

Suppressing a frown, Rachel Bailey quickly stepped forward, pulled Hansen Ruiz aside, and asked softly, "Sir, why are you here again? Don't tell there's another wine party? Haven't I already repaid the favor I owed you?" If a man of his status kept seeking her out as his companion, everyone would surely mistake her for his actual girlfriend.

Sir?

Hansen Ruiz's face twitched. He was thirty-five, nine years her senior, but surely not old enough to be called "Sir"?

Yet, he answered with a smile, "Ms. Bailey's business is booming, isn't it? So much so that she's forgotten all about favors owed."

Rachel Bailey imdiately countered, "What favor? Didn't I just help you out twice? You yourself said that accompanying you to the wine party would count as repaying the favor. That's all settled. So, you still... Oh, I know! I still owe you money."

Rachel Bailey rembered the two tis she had been taken in by the City Managent Bureau, and it was Hansen Ruiz who had paid to get her goods released.

Instantly assuming he was there to collect the debt, she couldn't help but mutter, "It's only a few thousand yuan, isn't it? You're worth tens of millions, and you still want this pittance back?" Muttering to herself, she resignedly pulled a wad of cash from her fanny pack. She handed it to Hansen Ruiz, who had a wry expression on his face, and said, "This is all the cash I've made today. Take this for now. Co back tomorrow, and I'll pay you the rest. Then, I really won't owe you anything."
