On the bus back to Beijing, Shen Xiu and the others wanted to seat Jiang Tong and Bao Nan together.

But unexpectedly, Jiang Tong wore a cold expression and glared at them fiercely.

Shen Xiu couldn’t resist her death stare and sheepishly sat next to Bao Nan.

anwhile, Jiang Tong sat with Chen Qianye, the two pairs separated by the entire bus.

Shen Xiu swallowed and sneaked a glance at Bao Nan, who also had a gloomy face.

Shit.

Can these two stop making it so life-threatening when they argue!

Chen Qianye and I are really in a bad spot, each of us sitting next to two giant icebergs!

Next to him, Bao Nan leaned on one hand, unable to comprehend why Jiang Tong had changed so much in just a few minutes.

...

After six hours, they finally returned to Beijing.

As they got off the bus, Bao Nan wanted to say sothing to Jiang Tong.

But Jiang Tong ignored him and walked away, leaving him standing alone.

It was late at night when they returned to Ao Garden Century.

Jiang Tong put away her luggage, then clutched her stomach and curled up on the sofa.

"Holy crap, Tongtong, are you okay?"

Xia Qiao had just finished her shower, her hair still dripping, and she was nearly scared to death seeing Jiang Tong like this.

Hearing her voice, Jiang Tong grabbed a pillow beside her, covered her face with it, and said, choked with emotion, "I’m fine."

This left Xia Qiao truly bewildered. As she slowly approached the sofa and pondered for a mont, she seed to understand what had happened.

"Got rejected when confessing?"

Besides that, she really couldn’t think of anything else that would have made Jiang Tong feel so defeated.

But she never expected there would be a day when Jiang Tong’s confession failed...

Thinking of this, Xia Qiao sighed, stepped forward, and pried the pillow away from Jiang Tong’s face.

Under the lamplight, she could vaguely see Jiang Tong’s eyes were a bit red.

Xia Qiao looked at her in disbelief, "Co on, Jiang Tong, it’s just a guy, and you’re crying?"

Jiang Tong sniffled, turned her back to her, and mumbled, "You don’t understand."

"What don’t I understand!? I’ve been through a relationship too, I surely understand emotions better than you do. Just tell , I’ll give you so advice." Xia Qiao said as she patted her chest excitedly and stood up.

But Jiang Tong tilted her head and murmured softly, "He likes soone else..."

Does that an he’ll never like ?

She didn’t voice this question because she didn’t want to know right now.

Xia Qiao cursed softly, and tapped her head lightly, disappointed in her, "He just likes soone else, it’s not like he’s already married! If you like him, go after him; what if you’re the one he really likes?"

"How could that be, I’ve only known him for such a short ti."

"You’ve liked him despite only knowing him for such a short ti, so why not?"

"It’s just impossible."

Perhaps due to her parents’ marriage, Jiang Tong had always had little confidence in her own relationships since she was a child.

Xia Qiao sighed helplessly and took her phone.

"Stop talking, what’s his na, I’ll help you ask him out. What if you do succeed? Let be clear, Jiang Tong, you can’t be a coward! Otherwise, I’ll look down on you!"

Jiang Tong opened her mouth, about to refuse, but was swayed a bit by her words.

What if it really turned out the way she said, and succeeded?

Thinking this, she finally relented and said, "Then... let’s try it..."

"His na is Bao Nan."
