Jiang Tong was still blinking in confusion, thinking for a good while before she reacted.

After a brief silence, she quickly moved her body and jumped out of bed.

The sink was in a corner by the door, requiring two turns to reach it.

It took Jiang Tong ten minutes to get back after washing up.

The porridge on the table wasn’t as hot as when it was brought back.

But it was still slightly warm.

Jiang Tong scooped a big mouthful of porridge into her mouth, then groped for the docunts on the chair with her other hand.

"What’s your diplomatic departnt’s plan today?" she curiously looked at Bao Nan.

Although the prosecutor’s office and the diplomatic departnt ca together.

But their work seed different, as if they just ca along for the ride.

It was said to be for saving costs.

Bao Nan was also flipping through docunts by the bed. Hearing her question, he looked up slightly, "Planting rice seedlings."

"Hmm?"

"The purpose of this visit is to experience agricultural life, as many recent diplomatic issues involve Hua Country’s rice technology."

Seeing her full of surprise, Bao Nan explained unhurriedly.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Tong suddenly understood and nodded.

"So that’s how it is. Well, you guys have it hard. We just need to go into the villages to do legal education."

Currently, the legal system is in a state of enhancent, especially for these remote areas.

Legal education is even required to be more rigorous.

"Yeah, keep it up."

Seeing her muted reaction, Jiang Tong smacked her lips and looked at him with her head tilted.

"How about I co to watch you plant seedlings after I’m done with the legal education, okay?"

Even she didn’t notice that her tone unconsciously carried a hint of coyness.

Bao Nan had a touch of amusent in his eyes, "Sure."

...

West Asia Village Committee.

"Law does not tolerate sentint, yet there is emotion beyond the law. I hope that after today’s short legal education segnt, everyone can understand basic legal knowledge and be law-abiding citizens."

Jiang Tong stood on the podium, smilingly ending today’s legal education speech.

The legal education speech is once a day, needing to be conducted for ten days in total.

It’s done by the prosecutor’s office personnel in turns.

Today happened to be her turn, tomorrow it would be Shen Xiu’s, and she could rest.

After the speech, most of the people sitting in the village committee had also dispersed.

Jiang Tong raised her wrist to check her watch; it was already three o’clock in the afternoon.

Bao Nan should have started planting seedlings by now.

What would soone with his deanor look like doing farm work?

Thinking about it, a smile unconsciously spread across Jiang Tong’s face.

"Sister Tong, where are you heading to?" Shen Xiu passed by with files, catching her in a state of excitent.

"None of your business!"

Seeing it was him, Jiang Tong’s face imdiately turned sour.

She hadn’t yet settled accounts with him over the last incident! And now he just walked into her path on his own.

But she wasn’t in the mood to deal with him now.

With this thought, Jiang Tong left the village committee in a huff, not giving Shen Xiu a glance.

Watching her departing figure, Shen Xiu touched his nose and turned to Chen Qianye, "Qianye, why do you think Sister Tong is so moody recently?"

"What else? A red apricot is sticking out over the wall."

"..."

By the rice field.

When Jiang Tong rushed over from the village committee, the seedling-planting activity had already started.

She looked around, intending to find Bao Nan’s figure.

But this man’s tall and striking build was so prominent that she could spot him instantly.

Bao Nan was wearing a white shirt, sleeves rolled up high, bent over by the field.
