-

A man fell backward, sitting on a throne on a distant mountain in the human empire.

An object for seeing distant places fell from his hand.

"What the hell is that..."

"Sir, what’s wrong?" Several elders and young n rushed to assist him. "What happened? You look pale."

The man put his hand to his head. "We are dood. We have lost."

"Huh? We lost?"

"How can that be? The war has just begun. Not long ago, we gave the order to those guys to..."

"We lost. We lost completely. They were wiped out, everyone died!" The man shouted desperately, shaking his head in terror.

"W-what?"

"Impossible!"

"How could they be slaughtered in less than two hours?!"

The man, still trembling, squird a little. "They were completely slaughtered. Alice Allen did it. She summoned terrifying beasts and with her own hand... they were slaughtered."

So fell to the ground, incredulous. Others rushed to the scene, needing information. They needed to investigate.

"Sir... How could this be possible? Alice isn’t that strong..."

"Are you calling a liar, you bastard?!" the man shouted, looking up. "That terrifying woman must have used so damn tactics or sothing! But the fact is, they’ve been slaughtered!"

"Even the barrier...!" He bit his tongue because he was speaking so fast, which made him grimace in pain.

His subordinates imdiately bowed when they saw him so angry. "Please calm your anger, sir."

"Hmph. Those damn vampires..." He suddenly stood up and destroyed the device he was using to see.

"It’s ti for them to pay for everything they’ve done to us." He clenched his hands in anger and looked at his subordinates.

"Call all the leaders, pillars, and races under our command. The ti to invoke the sun has co. Tell the Church that it is ti to orchestrate a true massacre." His terrifying face made his subordinates tremble with fear.

"Yes, sir."

The man turned around, looked painfully at the distant plains, and then left. Hatred flooded his heart.

This did not co from a thirst for revenge for the massacre.

Rather, it was because his pride was wounded.

The humiliation ate away at him inside.

The world witnessed how hundreds of thousands of humans could not even blink in the face of a single vampire.

What a great humiliation the human race had suffered, once again!

--

In distant lands, whose owner was unknown, three figures traveling between dinsions appeared on a great plain.

"Is this it, Lord Matthew?" Jack asked, puzzled.

When Matthew opened his eyes, he frowned. "Obviously, it’s not here," he said, half mocking himself.

"Haha, sorry, I’m not very precise with these movents. I was supposed to look for a mountain," Jack apologized.

"No problem," Matthew replied. "I’m bad at giving directions," he said.

Charlotte, who had been silent, spoke up at that mont. "It’s not here, but we’re close. I can feel it nearby."

"Well, then I’m not doing so badly." Matthew smiled and looked back at the map. Even he didn’t know the exact location they were supposed to reach, but with Jack’s knowledge of the area, he had been able to figure out more or less where it was.

The problem was that the map in his mind, although incredibly accurate, had no coordinates or anything of the sort that Jack could use in dinsional movent.

But the biggest problem was that what they were looking for was built inside a mountain.

How the hell is a fortune teller supposed to find that on a map full of mountains?

The only clue they had was that this mountain was next to the sea, but there were about 50 mountains near the sea!

Well, Jack’s accuracy failed him this ti. He had to find a mountain and ended up on a desert plain.

After checking where they were, Matthew gave him another reference. "This one will be easier, we’re pretty close to the mountains."

Although then they would have to search among all the mountains for the one they were looking for.

"All right, sir. I’ll do it right this ti," Jack said.

He tried to be as precise as possible this ti.

He closed his eyes and then opened them to use his ability.

Imdiately, they entered him.

KYA!

The sound of herons reached them, and they felt a strange breeze blowing against their faces. The sll of water also reached them, and finally, a pleasant sll of different types of green leaves.

When they opened their eyes, nature in all its splendor was revealed.

Mountains, one after another, as if they wanted to form rows to cover the sea behind them. Sothing peculiar.

The birds flying in the sky welcod them.

"Are we there?" said Matthew, looking around.

"Stop right there!" A shout woke them from their enjoynt of nature, and soon there were about 30 people surrounding them. "This is Wagner Clan territory, please leave if you don’t want any trouble!"

Matthew, Charlotte, and Jack’s eyes lit up.

"Looks like we’re here," Matthew said, stepping forward.

"Gentlen, I am Matthew Dietrich. It’s ti for your leader to answer to ," he said, as if he were angry.

The n wanted to shout, Who the hell do you think you are?

But when they rembered who Matthew Dietrich was, they shuddered. "What the hell is this man doing here?"

One of them had to take command among his companions.

"Mr. Matthew... May I ask what’s going on? The leader is inside, if you want I can call him..."

"Just open the way," he snapped.

"This..." He looked around, seeking help. Bring this troublemaker into the clan?

Damn, that would be dangerous.

But...

He was a Dietrich.

He was practically an ancestor to all of them.

Was it okay to treat him so rudely?

They suddenly felt a headache coming on.

"Leave this to ," said a man who suddenly appeared behind them.

"Elder!" The guards felt as if they had been saved from an abyss when they saw him, and the elder smiled at Matthew.

"Young Lord Matthew, please co in. I apologize for receiving you like this. We’re just very busy these days," he said.

"Attacking my territories must be really stressful, so I understand why you’re so busy," Matt joked.

"Haha, we’re not part of the idiots, Mr. Matthew. Please follow . The Leader wants to talk to you," he said.

The newly arrived group soon began to be guided into the grounds of the Wagner Clan, a clan built on mountain rock.
