His figure disappeared and reappeared right behind Alfred. The hand holding his sword moved quickly upward to strike him, and at the sa ti, one of his acquired abilities activated.
It was the Illusion skill that struck, creating an extre wound.
Or rather, the illusion of having created it. The pain. Everything could be created with that illusion.
But Matthew suddenly jumped back and protected himself with his sword. A sword strike hit him just milliseconds before he left Alfred's attack range, and his skill, which had technically been activated, was split in half.
"If your idea of attacking by bringing here is as simple as that, let tell you that you're going to fail." Imdiately, Alfred lunged at him with an extrely fast movent.
His power was terrifying, far above what soone on this side of the map should have.
Matthew didn't know how this guy had managed to pass the Vampire Limbo, but being able to pass it with such high power showed his talent.
Even so...
"I brought you here because I have to run so tests, little Hill," he said suddenly.
Alfred was stunned to see that, in front of him, it wasn't really Matthew but a huge mountain, and his body was pressed against it with force.
Just then, Matthew clenched his hand behind him, and the mountain exploded in a strange explosion like a volcano, but in all directions.
At the sa ti, all the scattered rocks gathered around Alfred and floated toward him as if attracted by gravity, turning him into a block of extrely hot rocks.
Alfred moved his hands to the sides and exploded what surrounded him. He frowned and looked behind him.
"Was that the Path of Control?" he asked.
"Hehe, looks like you hit the nail on the head." Matthew laughed. "I've been wondering recently, how powerful is the Domain of the Controlling God when combined with my abilities?"
"The results have been good."
Suddenly, a vast mountain appeared beneath him, carrying him to the top.
"That's why I imagined a small dungeon I saw long ago, when I was fighting unknown beasts that followed one of the Elental Emperors. And I beca curious. Will you be able to pass it?"
As soon as his words ended, a labyrinth-like structure ford beneath him, right where Alfred Hill stood.
'Elental Emperors?' He thought. But then he looked at what had been created in front of him.
They were like giant caves, with ridiculously reinforced walls, and many beasts appeared everywhere.
These were among the illusory beasts created by Matthew's ability, and golems of stone were also created by the power of the giants he had taken from the Beckers.
They were all neatly arranged to form a dungeon like the ones he had seen on Earth.
They had so power, but not that much. There were traps of all kinds, and at the sa ti, there was a boss.
Alfred frowned when he suddenly found himself trapped and felt Matthew's gaze on him from all directions.
"You intend to lock up in a piece of dirt? Damn, you really underestimate ." His power erupted on both sides and attacked a fixed point in the dungeon.
The ensuing explosion brought debris and shook all the dungeon's walls, while the dust dispersed as soon as it erged.
Alfred smiled with a slight hint of mockery, but suddenly frowned, and the smile faded from his face.
'I clearly felt that I broke it,' he thought.
But the place was perfectly intact.
Just then, Matthew laughed.
"Hahaha, I was wondering one thing..."
"What is ant by atoms in this ability? Are they the sa as those explained on Earth? Or perhaps it is a new concept?"
It was difficult to know at this point, as it was difficult for him even to see them, even though the ability should technically allow him to, but he had a big clue: when he strikes, he receives a backlash that hits him.
He had been thinking about the reasons for a long ti. He even attacked himself trying to understand it, and on so occasions, he almost broke his head.
That reminded him of sothing he had studied during his days on Earth as a university student: Quantum Superposition.
The fact that an atom can be in two places at the sa ti, until its true location is verified. He still rembers that paradox of a little kitten that was alive and dead at the sa ti, which was used to explain the principle of this quantum fact.
That made him think. What if, in this fantasy world, it was like that?
Then he could understand that atoms were indeed what he rembered. They ford matter and were present almost everywhere, so his ability to attack atoms could an much more.
In that case, he didn't suffer a setback when using his ability; it was simply that he attacked atoms that were in superposition and, therefore, had a high probability of attacking himself.
Obviously, once he can "see" that attack, the atoms will take a single path and show themselves in a single way.
Before "observing" it, its state is uncertain, even for nature. It is as if nature itself is confused about what state to take.
And that is precisely what happens with his ability to attack/control atoms!
He hadn't realized it until now.
Since he cannot "see" his own attack, as he cannot currently see atoms, the atoms attacked remain in a superposition state, creating an attack identical to the one he just perford in one direction, in his own direction, or in the opposite direction.
Since he had no idea about this before, he avoided using this attack in the presence of people who were not enemies, because he could kill them, and now he is grateful that he did not.
But how did he realize that this was the case?
This entire dungeon was created using that ability. He can do more than just attack. Since it is a control ability, he must naturally be able to "control."
And that's exactly what he did to create the dungeon, also using his own ability as a God Controller.
He used his God Controller ability to control reality and change it within his special ability. This allowed him to control atoms simultaneously and form them into a single mass of matter.
The Dungeon.
