The Kingdom of Richter had fallen in a day. The impact of this news was earth-shattering and left the world in shock.
And, despite the fact that it was the Dark Kingdom that declared war on them before attacking, everyone knew that only the Allens and Matthew Dietrich could take down the currently most powerful Kingdom in such a short ti.
The thing is, the testimonies reveal that Gray Allen was not present at the scene; not even his subordinates were seen. There was just Matthew Dietrich and terrifying won, with lots of explosions and great fighting power in the hands of those who were once weak.
Naturally, that was more shocking than the fact that they fell in one day.
They fell in one day at the hands of a few people who didn’t even have armies, but what the world began to claim is that they had attacked and destroyed all the churches in each of the cities, including their followers.
Although these claims went nowhere and would soon, in a short ti, be overwheld by new news...
"The Becker Clan has fallen... In less than a day..." Alice read a ssage that had arrived from all over the kingdom and the Becker territory a few minutes earlier.
In front of her were all the won who had co, including Ava.
Alice couldn’t help but turn her attention to Ava. She had taken control of the entire underworld of the kingdom and seed to know Matthew’s whereabouts, so Ava drew the attention of all the girls present.
She was forced to sigh.
"I don’t think he wants to hide anything from you; he’s just very busy with his plans. His plans are becoming more and more successful because he is improving, and in that case, we must not interfere with his improvent." She replied, almost evading the question that was written on the faces of all the girls.
Alice frowned. "Was he the cause?"
Although Ava didn’t want to answer, she ended up nodding under the intense gaze of so many powerful won. "He should be back by now. It was a joint plan with the Allen Clan, several allies, and the Independent Clans. Matt led it," she replied sincerely.
"Why didn’t you tell us anything?!" Isla and Alice exclaid at the sa ti, being the most affected. "Why would you keep sothing so important to you to yourself?!’ Their exclamation was one of anger, even surprising the rest of the girls present.
"...He didn’t want to reveal that; that’s why he asked to make the arrangents without explaining too much."
"That’s still completely irresponsible, Ava!"
Seeing Alice’s upset and also Isla’s almost out-of-control reaction, Emma had to interfere when she realized that Ava didn’t even know what else to say and that Alice looked like she had only just started scolding her.
"Wait, Alice, don’t get angry with Ava. Why are you so upset? Matt wouldn’t do sothing he’s not completely sure he’ll win, you know. So if he went for it, it’s because he was sure." She replied, but Alice shook her head.
"You don’t understand, and although I don’t fully understand, there is sothing about him that tells he has not been doing very well lately. I don’t know what it is—maybe it’s his body—but I feel like he is being affected a lot by sothing." She replied, shaking her head, angry, upset, and even a little scared.
This left everyone who heard it in shock, except Isla.
"Oh? Sothing that can affect him so much- does it exist? Alice, I think you’re thinking too much. Do you rember? He told us he was the Eternal Immortal. An immortal. Do you know that it is almost impossible for one of those people to die?"
Alice didn’t know what to say; she was still upset, but suddenly, she realized that that was also true, making her question whether it was okay to be like that.
But then Isla spoke.
"About that... I think there’s sothing that..."
"What are they worried about? If his official wife isn’t worried, it ans he really knows what he’s doing." Suddenly, an invasive voice behind them interrupted what Isla was saying.
At that mont, they were in the main hall of the castle of the Richter Kingdom, so the throne was still there, but no one sat down because they were waiting for Matthew.
Even so, when they heard that voice, so had to turn towards the throne.
So didn’t recognize her. ’Human?’ They thought.
Others knew who she was.
Isla knew her best, but she felt she shouldn’t fight with her this ti, so she just looked at her.
"Charlotte." She spoke.
Charlotte smiled and nodded at her, then looked at all the other girls.
"Matthew is not going to do sothing he is not completely sure if he still has a mission to accomplish. Maybe he sotis makes risky decisions, but it’s because he has elaborate plans. I’ve watched him grow, and little by little, his strategic capacity has developed to the point that even I am scared sotis, so don’t worry. Before he completes his revenge, he will not die. And if he does, then I can assure you, as soone who knows him perfectly, that he will return."
After saying that, she looked at Isla. "We need to talk, " she said before turning to go to a different room.
Isla stared at her for a few minutes before following her. "Alice, don’t worry. If she says so, I’m sure it’s true. You’ve fought with her before; you know what she’s capable of," she said, and after a few reassuring words to the other girls, she turned and followed Charlotte.
On entering the new room, Isla realized that it was completely isolated from the outside, thanks to Charlotte’s skill.
"For you to completely isolate the room, it seems you have very important things to talk about."
Charlotte smiled, looking out the window at the desolate landscape in the background. Soon after, she closed the windows and curtains, leaving the room in darkness.
"Isabella. What you were about to say is sothing that must not co out of your mouth, no matter how much you want to report it."
